(This also is partly inspired by Episode 34 of Pokémon Journeys, which is the Ash vs. Bea battle. I heard that the rematch will happen in Episode 39, which is surprisingly a short time to get over the defeat that Ash experienced during his battle with Bea. According to what I heard from Ash on Instagram, it will also take place in Johto, can't exactly remember where, but right now that's not important.)

"She was entirely too soft."

Those words rang through Bea's head as she walked through the streets of Shalour City. She sighed.

Why did I say that about her? She's not THAT weak, just... a little too kind, Bea thought. Sighing, she knocked on the door to Shalour City's Gym. Her rival, Korrina, had requested a rematch and Bea, of course, accepted.

The Gym was surprisingly quiet for such a large city. Bea thought there would be at least one or two Challengers. Even Stow-On-Side was smaller than Shalour, but it definitely had more Challengers.

Bea waited for a while before deciding to leave- no one seemed to be there. She turned around to leave, until she heard the door to the Gym open and someone hugged her from behind.

"K-Korrina!" Bea stuttered, blushing madly. "What are you doing?!"

"Hugging you! I missed you!" Korrina said playfully. She was also blushing.

"Why is your face so red?" Bea teased.

"Why is YOUR face so red?" Korrina immediately countered. Bea blushed even more (if possible) and hid her face with her hands.

"A-Anyways... Bea stuttered, feeling a little dazed. Then she realized. "You didn't invite me here for a rematch, did you?"

Korrina stayed quiet.

"DID you?"

"Yes, but..."

"But what?"

"Nothing. Let's go inside. And this time, I WON'T lose!" Bea grinned.

"Race you there?"

"You're on."
