(Y/N) POV

Lillie and I are headed back to Melemele Island after leaving the pirates for the police to handle. Charizard lands in front of a the Poke'mon Center and both Lillie and I hand our pokeballs to Nurse Joy. We decide to wait around and talk a little, while our poke'mon are getting healed.

Lillie: I see being champion has been good for you.

(Y/N): It feels good most days, while others make me want to hang up my hat and give up.

Lillie: Well we both know your no quitter.

(Y/N): Yeah, your right.

Lillie: Hey what's up with Nebby, why wouldn't he fight?

(Y/N): Honestly, I have no idea. Getting him to do anything is like pulling teeth. I don't know what to do with him.

Lillie: Well, we'll figure it out, I know we can.

(Y/N): I see your journey has been good for your confidence.

Lillie: Sort of, I still get nervous around poke'mon and I still don't care for battling but I do it when necassary.

(Y/N): You know there hasn't been a day when I didn't think about you.

Lillie: Me too, I missed you so much, a part of me just wanted to-

Hau: (Y/N) WHERE ARE YOU?! I WANT A REMATCH!

(Y/N): Oh no.

Hau walks into the poke'mon center and looks around, he is quite a bit larger than ten years ago, but he somehow still has the energy of toddler. He spots me and then points and yells.

Hau: AHA, FOUND YOU! I CHALLENGE YOU TO A REMATCH, CHAMPION! MY TEAM AND I ARE STRONGER THAN EVER! PREPARE FOR THE FIGHT OF YOUR LIFE! I-

He finally sees Lillie and his jaw drops, oh boy here comes the tears.

Hau: LILLIE YOUR BACK!

He rushes over a picks Lillie up in a friendly hug, with tears coming down his face.

Hau: I was starting to wonder if you'd ever come back.

Lillie: Hey, I said I would didn't I? Now can you put me down so I can breath, please?

Hau: Oh right, sorry.

Lillie catches her breath and the two make some small talk, then a bell sounds, signalling that Lillie and me's poke'mon are all better. Charizard, who always stays outside his pokeball, rushes over and nuzzles my face happily.

(Y/N): Hey buddy, feeling better?

Charizard: *low happy growl*

Lillie: Hey Clefable, how did that feel?

Clefable: *happily* Clefable!

Hau: Anyways, sorry to run off Lillie, but (Y/N) and I have a rematch today. I will see you at the Poke'mon League, (Y/N)!

     With that Hau runs off as fast as he can and I groan as I have to defend my title again.

(Y/N): How does someone who looks like melted ice cream, still have the energy of a child?

Lillie: *giggles* Come on (Y/N), this used to be your idea of fun.

(Y/N): Yeah, back when people were still challenging enough to get me excited.

Lillie: Well, it was probably more exciting when the fate of the world was at stake.

(Y/N): It did feel good to save the world from destruction, but I am still happy that the islands are at peace. Do you want to tag along or do you want to see your family first?

Lillie: I think I'll actually see my mother and brother first, since I can't actually watch your battle.

(Y/N): Right, I'll let you know when I'm finished.

Lillie: Great!

     Before we go our seperate ways though, Lillie leans up and kisses my cheek. I guess she was caught up in the moment, she probably doesn't like me that way anyway. She must've seen me blush, because she realized what she did and blushed as well.

Lillie: I-I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me- I-I'll see you later.

     Before I can say anything, she runs towards the docks, Charizard then nudges me. I turn and I can see him laughing-

(Y/N): Wha- I'm not crazy, you are. *groans* Come on, let's get this over with.

     I climb on Charizard's back and we take off towards the Poke'mon League.

Lillie POV

     What on earth was I thinking, I mean it's true I do love him, but that's not the way to convey your feelings towards someone, right? Anyways, I am on my way to Aether Paradise to see my mom, Lusamine, and my brother, Gladion. I just hope I can keep myself from thinking about (Y/N) in front of them, cause they'll never let me live it down. I make it to Aether Paradise and I see my brother there waiting to see who comes on the boat. I disembark and my brother gets a happy expression on his face.

Lillie: Gladion!

Gladion: Lillie, it's so good to see you!

Lillie: It's great to see you too big brother! *laughs*

Gladion: When did you get back?

Lillie: Just today after dealing with some Pirates, ugh.

Gladion: Let me guess did the champipn of Alola have to come and save you?

Lillie: *blushes* I don't know what your talking about.

Gladion: *chuckles* Come on Lillie I know you better than that, and (Y/n) can't stop thinking about you either. He may not show it but he missed more than the rest of us.

Lillie: Well, he was my first friend and he helped me even when he put himself in danger.

Gladion: Yeah he's something alright. I've challenged him many times but he somehow always manages to beat me.

Lillie: Well he worked hard to earn that title, he's not gonna lose it so easily.

Gladion: Probably, anyways, mom is in the pokemon garden, she'll be excited to see you.

Lillie: Great, Hau had challenged (Y/n) to champion battle.

Gladion: Ugh, don't get me wrong, Hau is a good friend but he does this every single day. It gets annoying after a while.

      I giggle at the fact that I now know why (Y/n) groaned at Hau's challenge. It honestly feels good to be back home and (Y/n) actually looks really hot. Can I say that?
