(Y/N) POV

     I am handing over Team Rainbow Rocket leader, Giovanni, over to the authorities. I walk over to Lillie who is treating her Clefairy from the harsh battle.

(Y/N): Hey Lillie, how's Clefairy?

Lillie: She'll be alright. (Y/N), I wanted to say thank you for everything today. You could've just turned away from this, and yet you braved everything in there. *hugs you* Thank you.

(Y/N): I would do anything for you Lillie, because your my best friend.

Officer: Sir?

(Y/N): What is it, officer?

Officer: We just have a few questions regarding todays events?

     Lillie and I talk with the officers about our involvment in the attack today.

Timeskip 1 Hour Later

     I am at the party in Iki town for my heroics, honestly it's a little much but what can you do, right. I look at everyone having a good time, and even my pokemon are having fun. I feel a tap on my shoulder, I turn and see Lillie with her signature smile.

(Y/N): Hey Lillie, something on your mind?

Lillie: I was wondering if you could walk with me to the temple at the end of Mahalo Trail?

(Y/N): Sure, I can tag along.

     We leave with my pokemon up the trail, towards the bridge that Lillie and I first met. We cross the bridge and head inside the temple, and surprisingly, Tapu Koko arrives and challenges me to a battle. I send out Charizard first, and launch the first attack.

(Y/N): Alright Charizard, use Flamethrower!

     Charizard sends out a strong stream of fire and Tapu Koko simply dodges it and uses Discharge.

(Y/N): Dodge it and take flight!

     Charizard dodges beautifully and takes off with speed, but Tapu Koko is no slouch either. It takes off after Charizard and they both dodge eachothers attacks, I then get an idea.

(Y/N): Charizard, Dragon Claw, go!

Lillie: But Tapu Koko is a Fairy Type! That move won't effect it!

     Tapu Koko has no time to dodge so blocks the attack, it fell for my trap.

(Y/N): Now Charizard, full power Flamethrower!

     Charizard then blasts Tapu Koko with everything he has and Tapu Koko is sent crashing to the ground.

(Y/N): Now, go Poke'ball!

     I throw the poke'ball and it traps Tapu Koko, the ball then shakes around until it dings and tells me I caught Tapu Koko.

(Y/N): Yes! We did it Charizard! Great work!

Lillie: Good job, (Y/N)!

(Y/N): Thanks Lillie. You didn't get hurt at all did you?

Lillie: I'm good. Not a scratch.

     I check Charizard and Tapu Koko for injuries and once their all good, Lillie and I head back to the party. We spend the rest of the evening enjoying the party, night falls and Lillie tries to ask me something.

Lillie: Hey (Y/N), I am- BOOM

     Then fireworks start going off and we just enjoy them, until it's time to head home.

Timeskip Next Morning

     I wake up and hear frantic knocking at the front door, I roll out of bed and get fresh pair of clothes on. I walk out and see Hau talking to my mother, and he seems worried.

Mom: Oh (Y/N), your awake.

(Y/N): Good morning mom, Hau what are you doing here?

Hau: No time for chatting, we gotta get to the docks, dude!

(Y/N): What are you going on about, man?

Hau: Just come on, her ship is leaving soon!

(Y/N): Whose?

Hau: Lillie, she's leaving Alola!

     I get a sickening feeling in my stomach, and call upon Tauros and we hightail it to the docks. We get there and I spot Lillie talking to Professor Kukui. I get to the end of the dock and rush to Lillie.

(Y/N): Lillie, wait up! What happened, where are you going?

Lillie: I'm sorry (Y/N), I really meant to tell you last night during the party. But, I have decided to start a journey of my own to figure out what I want to do, just like you did here.

Hau: But, we weren't ready for you to go! We still have so much to do and discover, I don't know if I'm ready for you to leave.

Lillie: This isn't goodbye-

Kukui: More like see you later. I know it's hard, but I get it. Sometimes you have to make your own way in the world.

Hau: Doesn't mean we have to like it.

(Y/N): Hau, that's enough. *approach Lillie* I will support any decision you make, just know that you will always have us as family, should you decide to come back.

Lillie: *starts tearing up* Oh (Y/N), thank you for being my friend. Here, I have something for both of you.

     Lillie gave Hau a TM and a friendly hug goodbye, she then turns to me and hands me a clefairy plush and explains.

Lillie: This plush toy may not seem like much, but it is most precious to me. Just like you.

(Y/N): Me?

Lillie: You were my first friend, you always will be and I will be forever grateful. You helped me find my courage.

     She then stands on tiptoe and gives me a long, soft kiss on the cheek. I blush redder than my baseball hat, we then hear the ship blow it's fog horn. Lillie gives me one last hug and climbs aboard the ship. As it takes off Lillie smiles and waves at us and we all wave back. The ship then disappears on the horizon and our group departs from the docks. I head to a secluded beach cove and reflect on the fond memories of Lillie and I together. Then Charizard emerges from it's poke'ball and lays down and nuzzles against me.

(Y/N): Yeah, you're right bud. She'll be back, I'll tell her then. *looks at the sky* I love you Lillie.

Lillie POV

     I sit on the ship drinking my tea and I also look at the sky and say.

Lillie: I love you, (Y/N).
