Moon's P.O.V.

"Why can't I go to the movies with the others?!?!" I asked Artemis. "I haven't gone to the movies in forever!!!"

"Your duties are too important! You are their leader! You don't have time to go to the movies!"

"That's what you say every time!" I yell, collapsing on my bed. I hear a noise downstairs and jump up.

"The mail's here!" I exclaimed, running downstairs and checking it. I see a letter addressed to me... from Ash Ketchum. There was a label on it saying 'Confidential'. What does he want... and why did Tuxedo Mask send me a letter? He's never wrote a letter before...

Right! I run upstairs and throw Artemis out of my room. I lock the door, close the shutters, and hide under the covers. I take out a flashlight and read the letter.

'Sailor V,

You have been challenged to a duel by Tuxedo Mask. This duel will take place at sunset tonight. The location will be at Mount Lanakila, Ula' Ula Island.

Can't wait to see you there,

Tuxedo Mask' I read. Why does he want to challenge me there? He hates cold temperatures. And why is he so formal about it? I put the letter of challenge in my desk drawer and let Artemis back into the room. I flop down on the bed and think about what to do.

How do I get rid of Artemis? I don't know.

How will I get over to Ula' Ula Island? Should I Mantine Surf?

What if the others get worried? I should probably tell them I'm too busy to go to the movies with them...

Lillie's P.O.V.

"Where's Moon?" I asked them.

"She said over the communicator that she was too busy to come and Artemis wouldn't let her," Lana informed me.

"Bummer..." Acerola commented.

"Let's change the topic!" I said after a period of silence. "Do you guys have crushes?" My answer was blushing girls.

"I... I kinda like Sophocles..." Lana admitted.

"Even though he's a creepy super-nerd?" Acerola asked.

"He has a kind heart..."

"How about you, Acerola?" I asked.

"Who I like doesn't matter... he'll never notice me..."

"That's too bad... how about you, princess? You've been awfully quiet."

"There is this one guy..."

"Is it a prince?" Acerola, Lana, and I asked in unison.

"It's a secret!"

"Aww!"

"Girls! Can you hear me?" asked Luna.

"Yes, Luna," I responded over the communicator.

"There's abnormal readings on Mount Lanakila! You must hurry!

"On it, Luna!" Right as I said that, the power went out. We ran.

"Charizard! Take me to Mount Lanakila!" Mallow exclaimed, summoning a Charizard with her ride pager. We all did the same with our ride pagers.

???'s P.O.V.

"Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Venus fighting?" I asked. "This is almost too good to be true. We can use this to our advantage."

"Queen Beryl, let me, Kunzite, take care of this."

"Of course."

Artemis' P.O.V.

Moon left so abruptly... wonder why...

I opened her desk drawer during my investigation... and I found a letter.

"What's this? A letter of challenge? On Mount Lanakila? Against Tuxedo Mask?!" Oh no... not again! I can't let them continue doing this!

Moon's P.O.V.

"You've gotten better, I see," I told him.

"That's because I went easy on you last time." E-Easy? He punched me and I went flying. I landed hard.

"How pathetic." Who said that? I get up and look around. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Tuxedo Mask do the same. At the same time, we saw him. Another member of the Dark Kingdom...

"I am Kunzite, the strongest general of the Dark Kingdom," he said, introducing himself. "I never expected the Phantom Warrior of Justice, Sailor V, to be so weak."

"Who are you calling weak?!?! Crescent... Beam!!!" I shot my beam at him... but he reflected it... along with attacking me!!! I was flung across the area.

Okay... NOW I'M MAD!!! I charged towards Kunzite and jumped, intending to behind him... but he hit me in the process! I saw Tuxedo Mask going into combat with him, not taking any damage...

Why am I so weak compared to him? Why?

"Venus!" I hear running and soon am surrounded by the other Sailor Guardians.

"W-why are you guys here? This... This is my fight... not yours..." Sailor Moon shook her head.

"You're one of us now, Venus. Your fights are our fights. We're in this together." She helped me up.

"Very well then," I began. "Let us fight together. Venus... Love-Me... Chain!!!" I throw the chain and grab Kunzite's arm before he could hit Tuxedo Mask. Kunzite smirked... I didn't know why... but then I did. He used my chain against me. He threw me around till I was too weak to sustain it. The chain shattered before my eyes... and with it, my endurance reached it's breaking point. Kunzite, knowing I couldn't get up, decided to take care of the others. After some blasts from Kunzite, we were all too weak to fight.

"I've changed my mind," Kunzite announced. "You're all pathetic. But Venus is especially." Why you?!?!

I then noticed he was charging up an attack to fire at the others! They can't defend themselves in this state...

I have to stand! I have to get up!

I HAVE TO HELP THEM!!!

I get up and weakly get inbetween Kunzite and the others. I throw my arms out in a defensive position.

"I am the Pretty Guardian, who fights for Love and for Beauty, Sailor Venus! And I will protect them as their leader and teammate!" I yell. Kunzite smirked once again.

"You are more pathetic than I thought you were," he said. "Oh well... DIE!!!" And with that he fired his beam. I want to close my eyes. I want to move out of the way. I want to scream and cry. But I don't. I won't! I stand my ground, ready to die for my friends...

But I'm not the one who takes the hit...

"TUXEDO MASK!" I cried. "WHY?!" I feel myself collapse as he fell onto my lap. "We're rivals... why would you... protect me?"

"B-because," he began. "I-if I let you die... who would be... my rival?" He breathes his last. His head gently falls as he becomes limp. His mask and hat fall away, revealing the young boy that he was. I felt myself scream inside as I cried.

"BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU?! DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT HOW I FEEL?! IF YOU DIE, WHO WOULD BE MY RIVAL?!?!" I scream in agony as I feel this pain in my heart. Why am I like this? Why does he have to die?! Why... why do I feel like this has happened before?! WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE I COULD TELL HIM HOW I REALLY FEEL ABOUT HIM?!?!

A bright light surrounds us as my heartbeats become as loud as my cries.

Lillie's P.O.V.

Moon's cries for Tuxedo Mask become louder. I don't understand. How does she even know him? I thought I was the only one who knew him...

Back to reality!!!

"NNNNNOOOOOO!!!!!!!" she screamed. A bright light engulfs them. A light that wasn't as bright emits from us as well. I turn to the other guardians and see all of our tiaras shatter. Glowing symbols appear on our heads. As for Mallow, the princess, the crescent symbol on her forehead vanished to reveal a glowing green symbol. Mercury and Mars have different symbols on their foreheads, a glowing red one for Mars and a glowing blue one on Mercury. So what's on my forehead? Lana turns back to the bright light.

"Everyone! Look!" she exclaimed. I saw myself glow, as well as the others. Suddenly, strange rainbow lights emit from our bodies and go to the light. I watch carefully and see Moon transform! She looks so different!

"Is that Moon?" Acerola asks.

"I think so!" I tell her.

"No," Mallow began. "That is Princess Serenity!"

"But I thought you were the princess!" I exclaimed.

"I lied, okay?!" Mallow admitted.

"WHAT?!?!"

"Lillie! Focus!!!" Lana scolds.

Right!

I look back just in time to see the light become brighter.

What's happening?!?!

Serenity's P.O.V.

I remember everything now...

The Moon Kingdom, Silver Millennium... the Sailor Guardians... peace... war... but most of all, Him... Endymion... my love... how we first met... our first kiss... and... when we died... I couldn't live without him...

I also remember his new identity...

"Endymion... my love... Ash... Did you remember... who we once were? Endymion? Why won't you open your eyes?" He... he isn't breathing... did he... "No... no no no... ENDYMION!!!" As tears fell, one of them crystallized. Could it be... The Silver Crystal? It is! I can save him!

Mallow's P.O.V.

"Why did the seal break so early?!" I asked Luna and Artemis over the communicator.

"Yeah... why Artemis?" I heard Luna agree. "It was YOUR job to keep her away from Endymion's reincarnation."

"I tried, Luna. But then they met. He was stealing... she caught him... tried to catch him... and then a rivalry was born! They both became obsessed or something! She wouldn't listen to me anymore! She had a one-track mind after she went in hiding! She trained to beat him... she kept on fighting him... SHE EVEN WENT TO THE EXTENT OF FINDING OUT WHERE HE LIVES!!!"

"Calm down, Artemis," I tell him.

"What's that?"

"What's what, Luna?"

"That!" Just when she said that, a bright light hit my eyes. I had to shield them to see.

"It's the Legendary Silver Crystal!" the three of us exclaimed.

Moon- I mean Princess Serenity- held the Silver Crystal in her hands. The light from the crystal broke away and went into Tuxedo Mask's body.

"Please come back... Endymion," she said. No way! Tuxedo Mask is Prince Endymion?!?!

Now that I think about it, he looks kinda like him.

I notice Kunzite raise a hand to blast them.

"NO!" I shout, creating a shield as I rush to protect them. The other Sailor Guardians join. I then see that the princess passed out. Sailor Moon and I broke away from the others and shook her.

"Princess! Are you alright?" I asked.

"Princess? Wake up!" Sailor Moon exclaimed.

Princess Serenity opened her eyes, and a look of shock came to her face.

"He's gone!"

"Who's gone, princess?" I see what the problem was before she answered.

"Endymion!"

"They're taking him away!" Sailor Moon exclaims, pointing to Kunzite, who was walking away while carrying Tuxedo Mask.

"No! ENDYMION!!!" Princess Serenity cried. "DON'T TAKE HIM AWAY!!!"
