I was on my way home from school, talking with my new "pet" Meowstick, Luna.  I decided, Why not take a detour?  I've always wanted to see Brooklet Hill.  I heard it's beautiful...

"Lillie!" Luna called. "Home is THAT way!!!"

"Oh, Luna," I replied. "We're not going straight home."

"What do you mean, 'We're not going straight home'?!" Luna asked, half yelling at me.

"There's a place I've wanted to see that's close by.  It's called Brooklet Hill."

"Brooklet Hill?  What are you?  A sightseer?"

"No.  I am Sailor Moon, guardian of love and justice.  But I am also Lillie, and I love to go places.  So... C'mon!"  I began running.  Luna just used Psychic.  Cheater...

"Oh, and Lillie," Luna began.

"Hmm?"

"You have other missions, too."  I have other responsibilities as Sailor Moon?

"And what might those be?" I asked.

"You need to find the other Sailor Guardians."  Phew!  I thought I was alone in this.

"And..." Luna continued. "You need to FIND and PROTECT a PRINCESS."  Wait... Me?  Protect a princess?!?!

I passed through these strange gates.  Wait, doesn't that mean... I'M ON TRIAL GROUNDS!!!

"Wishiwashi... where'd you go?"  I looked towards the water and saw a blue-haired girl was on a Lapras.  Is she searching for the Totem?  "Please come back.  I would like to heal you."  A saw a huge ripple in the water.  And then IT surfaced.  That must be the Totem.  It's huge!!!  The bluenette sprayed it with a Full Restore.  Then, at the same time, they noticed me.

"Welcome, trial-goer," the bluenette greeted me.

"You have it all wrong," I told her, "I'm not doi-"

"My name is Lana.  I'm the Trial Captain here," Lana introduced herself.

"I'm just going to go THIS way."  I began walking towards the exit.

"Wait!" Lana called.  I stopped.  "How many Pokémon do you have?"

"One," I told her. "This one isn't mine."  I gestured to Luna.

"At least you are eligible for my trial," Lana remarked.  She then threw up her hand.  "Trial, begin!"  Luna glared at me.  If only she knew I didn't mean to start the trial... here goes.

"Shiron!  I need you!"  I threw up my one Poké Ball, and then my partner, Shiron, came out.

"Lillie!  What are you DOING?!" Luna whispered to me.

"I'm forced to battle the Totem.  That's what I'm  doing," I replied. "Shiron!  Use Powder Snow on the water!"  My plan worked, and the water turned to ice.  The totem is trapped... for the time being...

That was a hard battle... but I managed to beat it!  Lana approached me.

"Nice job," she said. "I am very happy to give you the Waterium Z."  She placed a blue Z-Crystal in my hands.

"But I don't even have a Z-Ring..."

"No need to worry.  I just happen to have some on me for first-timers like you."  She handed me my very own Z-Ring.  It looks amazing...

 "I'm sorry I made you do my trial," Lana apologized to me.

"It's okay.  Besides, I kinda WANTED to do the trial..." I admitted.

"Well," Lana began, "People haven't been doing my trial lately, so I got super bored.  I began fishing for a Red Gyarados, but there don't seem to be any... shinies are very rare.  I battled the Totem myself, but since I trained it, I knew exactly how to defeat it... but then, I saw you."

"Wow..." I commented, "...just wow..."  The two of us laughed.  Then Luna hopped onto Lana.

"Is she your pet?" Lana asked.  I nodded.

"Yes, but I haven't caught her yet..."

Another monster attack?!  Seriously?  Well, time to transform.  "Moon Prism Power, Make UP!!!"  I then transformed into Sailor Moon.  Let's do this.  Let's see... where exactly IS the attack?

...

...Brooklet Hill?!  But I was there just a few hours ago!!!

"Please... leave the Wishiwashi alone!" I heard Lana say as I reached my destination.  The monster was trying to do something terrible to Lana's Totem Wishiwashi!!!

"And who's gonna stop me?" The monster asked.

"I... I... I... I am!" Lana attempted to shout.  But right as she said that it knocked her into the lake. Luna ran off somewhere.  I guess it's time for me to save the day.

Luna's P.O.V.

The poor girl was knocked into the water.  But I'm pretty sure that as she fell, I saw a strange symbol appear on her forehead... wait... THAT'S IT!!!  I snuck away from Li- I mean, Sailor Moon.  I ran as fast as I could to where the girl, I think her name is Lana, was coming out of the water.  She sat on the grass, hugging her knees.  I'm guessing that she has the feeling of wanting to curl up into a ball and disappear...

"I failed to protect it," she said to herself. "All I wanted to do was help it..."

"You still can!" I told her.  She looked at me.  Her eyes widened.

"You're that's girl's pet Meowstick... and you can talk!" Lana remarked.

"Yes.  My name's Luna.  Listen, Sailor Moon won't be able to defeat that monster herself.  That's where you come in."

"But how can I help?" She asked. "I'm just a Trial Captain, not a superhero like her."

"But you are!" I told her. "Take this and say 'Mercury Power, make up'!!!"  I handed her a transformation pen.  She nodded.

"Mercury Power, um... make up!"  She then transformed into Sailor Mercury.  I knew she was the one.

Lillie's P.O.V.

It's too strong.  What do I do now?  Luna?!  Right as it was about to hit me everything went foggy as someone spoke.

"Bubble... SPRAY!!!"  I looked around.  I can barely see anything...

"Sailor Moon!"  That's Luna's voice!  "Use your tiara!"  Right.  No time to get distracted.  I tapped the tiara on my forehead and it popped right off!

"Moon... Tiara......... ACTION!!!!"  I threw my tiara, removing the fog and disintegrating the monster.  I looked around and saw Tuxedo Mask vanish into the night.  He was watching me?

"Wait!" I called out, but received no response.  Bummer...  I turned around and saw Luna with a girl wearing a blue version of MY outfit.  She even had blue hair!

"Sailor Moon," Luna began. "Meet Sailor Mercury."  Yay!  I'm not alone anymore!  We high-fived.

"Should we show our true identities?" Sailor Mercury started. "Since we're partners and stuff I thought it would be a good idea..."

"You're right," Luna agreed.  We de-transformed.  Sailor Mercury... is Lana?!?!

"Lana?!?!"

"The girl who attempted my trial this morning?!?!"

"My name is Lillie."

"Okay then... Lillie?!?!"

"Time to fill Lana in too..." Luna said.
