Finally, school's over today.  So many timed tests...  Oh, I'm sorry.  I didn't see you there.  My name is Lillie Aether.  I'm 14 years old, and I go to Alola High School.  I currently live with my brother, Gladion, since my mother is always busy with work.  Right now, I'm waiting for my friend, Hapu, so that we can hang out and do whatever with life.  Oh, here she comes now... but why is Sophocles with her?

"Hi, Lillie!" Hapu said, happily. "Sophocles was just telling me about a cool superhero!"

"Superheroes are real?" I asked in disbelief.  Hapu nodded.

"They call her Sailor V," Sophocles told me. "She fights crime with super awesome powers like a Pokémon!  Rumors say that she works with the police."

"What kind of crime fighting has Sailor V done lately?" I asked.

"She fended off Team Skull," Sophocles answered. "They were trying to steal from Thrifty Market just the other day!"

"Wow..."  I can't believe it!

"And Sophocles said that they added a Sailor V game in the arcade at the Hau'oli City Mall!!!" Hapu exclaimed.

"Can we check it out?" I asked, super excited.  What can I say?  Doesn't everyone love the arcade?

"Sure!" Hapu agreed.  We left Sophocles and walked there together.  It that a Meowstick?  Ack!  It's gonna get run over by that Tauros!!!

"You go on ahead," I told Hapu. "I'll catch up."  I began running across the road.  I HAVE TO get to it before that Tauros rider.  I ran as fast as I could, picking up the Meowstick and getting off the road just in time.  Thank Arceus it's safe... is that a Reaper Cloth on its head?

"Here," I told the Meowstick. "I'll take this off for you."  I removed the cloth and saw that the Meowstick bore a gold crescent shaped symbol on its forehead.  Why is the crescent sideways?  The Meowstick teleported RIGHT OUT OF MY HANDS!  Ack!  Hapu is probably there already!!!  I began running in the direction of the mall and caught up to Hapu.  We headed into the mall and we were about to head into the arcade when Hapu stopped.  I turned to see what she was looking at.  A jewelry store?

"Lillie," Hapu began. "Can we check it out?"

"Sure, Hapu!" I replied, smiling.

So while Hapu was picking out something nice, I knew I would end up not buying anything, so I just went on to the arcade.  There's the Sailor V game!  I inserted a coin.

"So you're playing the new game, huh, Lillie?"  That's Hau, one of the arcade managers.

"Yup."  But I died before I even completed level one.  Aww...

"Here," Hau began. "I'll show you how to get through this level."  Hau did it like it was as easy as eating Malasadas!  Wow...

It's about midnight now, and I just finished my homework.  Gladion's been working on something in the basement for a few weeks.  Wonder what he's been doing.  Why am I so sleepy... I'm gonna go on to bed...

I woke up to the sound of something closing.  A door?  "Brother?" I called out quietly. "Is that you?" I took a good look around my room.  Nothing out of the ordinary... err... that's what I thought until I looked behind me on the window sill.  It's the same Meowstick from earlier!

"Hello, Lillie," it said.

"Ah!  It talks!!!"  I jumped out of the bed and landed on the other side of the room. "Who are you and how do you know my name?!"

"My name's Luna and I have been searching for you for a VERY long time."

"W-what do you want?"  I'm scared.  Who wouldn't be?

"I want you to listen to me."  Sounds like an easy request...  "Lillie, crime in Alola has been rising, and it's this new kind of evil not even the police can handle.  Your job is to help stop this evil."  I need to fight evil?

"H-how can I do that?" I asked.

"That's my cue."  Luna twirled and then something formed in her hands.  It looks like a broach...  "Take this and put it on."

"How can THAT help me save the world?"

"You'll see.  Just shout 'Moon Prism Power, Make Up'!"

"What would yelling random words do?"

"JUST DO IT!!!"

"Okay, but not too loud.  My brother is probably still awake in the basement."

"Just say it..."

"Right.  Moon Prism Power... Make UP!"  I squeezed my eyes shut.  I felt really weird inside...  When I opened my eyes again, I was wearing a weird outfit.  I LOOK JUST LIKE SAILOR V!!!

"You are now Sailor Moon, guardian of love and justice."  Sailor Moon.  Love and Justice?

"What do I do now?"  And as if on cue, I heard something strange.

"What the— WHAT'S HAPPENING?!"  That was Hapu!!!  Hapu's in trouble!!!

"You know what to do, Sailor Moon," Luna confidently spoke.  No, I don't!  But I'll just try to save Hapu!!!

I went to the mall, but how do I get in?  It's FLYING!!!

"Jump, Sailor Moon," Luna instructed.  I jumped, and I made it!  So I can jump high while I'm Sailor Moon...  I'm guessing after I left, the mall began flying...  and Hapu's trapped inside!!!

There's a big scary monster on top of the mall.  I'm guessing I need to defeat it.  I CAN'T DO IT... but I need to try!  I jumped again, and then I was level with this criminal.

"w-H-o-A-r-E-y-O-u-¿-!-¿-!" It asked in a chilling voice.   Umm... maybe I could add a catchphrase and try to scare it!

"I am the Pretty Guardian, who fights fore LOVE and for JUSTICE.  I AM SAILOR MOON!!!  And now, in the name of the Moon, I'LL PUNISH YOU!!!"

"s-A-i-L-o-R-m-O-o-N,-h-U-h...-y-O-u-D-o-N'-t-S-c-A-r-E-m-E..."  Hearing that... THING... speak sends chills through my body.

"Umm... HIYAH!!!"  I attempted to kick it, but I missed and hit the roof.  My ankle hurts so bad... I can't do this... I can't help anyone... I just wanna go back home... and be with Gladion...  I couldn't hold it back anymore.  I began crying.

"n-O-w," the monster began. "-D-i-E-!-¡"  I'M GONNA DIE AND NEVER SEE MY BROTHER AGAIN!!!  NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!!  I heard a thump in front of me.  I stopped crying and opened my eyes.  In front of me was a single red rose...  And what's more?  Balancing on top of a telephone pole was a guy in a Tuxedo.  Was he about to get married or something?

"Sailor Moon," he began... wait... how does he know about me?  Is he a stalker?! "Doubt will get you nowhere.  Believe in yourself."  I gasped.

"Luna!  What else can I do?" I asked.

"Use your Tiara!" Luna replied. "Shout, 'Moon Tiara Action'!!!"

"Right!"  I tapped my forehead, and my tiara thing came right off.  Here I go... "Moon... Tiara... Action!!!!!!!"  I threw it at the monster and it was instantly destroyed.  The mall slowly came back down... and everyone was free!  I looked up at the man in the Tuxedo.

"Who are you?" I asked him.

"You may call me Tuxedo Mask."  And with that he was gone...

"You aren't able to do anything at the moment, but she WILL need your help soon enough... Sailor... Venus."
