Location: Somewhere in the Kanto Region

As the trio are on their way over to the next town on their Pokémon journey, they soon came across a tree, blocking their path that looks like that it can be cut down for them to pass through.

Rusty: Ah, Wooper nuts. A tree.

Y/n: And it's blocking our path to get to the next town.

Silhouette: Well, we need to cut it down to get through or else we can't get to the next town.

Rusty: Well, better give up and go home. Good luck you two on your journey.

Y/n: He's giving up already. That was easy.

But as Rusty was about to head back home, an old man stopped him to tell Rusty that he needed to use an HM on their Pokémon to cut down the tree in order for them to pass on through.

Old Man: Now, hold on a minute youngster! What you boys need is an "HM". They can teach your Pokémon secret moves to overcome obstacles. I've spent 60 years trying to find them-

Rusty: Oh, you mean these? Yeah, I bought them at a kiosk in the mall in Celadon City.

Old Man: Oh, well. Guess I'll just go to the mall, then. (Turns and walks away) 60 Years...

Y/n: And he's back on his journey.

Silhouette: Don't worry, bro. He'll give up eventually.

Y/n: Let's hope so. Hey Rusty, can we use some of those HM for our Pokémon to learn how to use the move Cut to cut down this tree?

Rusty: Sure, thing and I know just the move to defeat my new rival; This tree.

Y/n: Whatever dude.

Then Rusty lets out one of his Pokémon that he recently captured, which is a Geodude and plans to use an HM called Strength to learn cut to take down the tree, which is only used to move boulders not cutting trees.

Rusty: Alright, Geodude. Time to learn "Stenk-tuh".

Y/n: Uh, Rusty. We only need to use Cut to take out the tree, not strength and Geodude cannot learn how to use Cut. So, I highly suggest using a better Pokémon that can learn to use Cu-

Rusty: Open Wide!

Geodude: Geodu-Oh! (Choking then shallows the HM)

Rusty did that so Geodude can launch him over the tree to pass through, but Geodude is not happy that Rusty had to shove that perfectly good HM down his throat.

Y/n: Dude...that is definitely Pokémon Abuse.

Silhouette: Yeah, and a waste of a perfectly good HM Disc.

Rusty: Okay boy, now throw me over! To victory!

Without warning, the Geodude grabbed Rusty and threw him to the tree with such superhuman strength as retaliation for shoving down the HM down his throat.

Y/n: Well, that was anti-climactic. Should we help him or not?

Silhouette: I think we should let him do this because I like to see him fail or get beaten up by his own Pokemon like how Geodude threw him to that tree that we're supposed to cut down.

Y/n: Ok then. That was pretty funny, so I guess we can sit back and watch the show from here. Nice throw by the way, Geodude.

Geodude: (Thumbs up) Geodude.

-Many Moments Later-

After Rusty recovered from the impact, he decided to use a Pidgey next to "Fly" him over to the other side of the tree, which that attempt already failed when the Pidgey just flew away, not wanting to deal with this situation at all.

Rusty: Okay, Pidgey. Use Fly to carry me ov- (Sees his Pidgey fly away from him) er. Huh.

Next, he used a Paras to help Rusty cut down the tree while Y/n and Silhouette put on some sunglasses knowing that Rusty is gonna use a HM move that only works in Dark Caves.

Rusty: Alright, one of these HMs has to work. Mushroom bug, use Flash!

Then without warning, the paras used the move Flash that sent out a blinding flash of light in the area, hurting Rusty's eyes in the process. Good thing that Y/n and Silhouette had their sunglasses on that protected their eyes from the blinding light.

Rusty: OH! I'M BLIND! GUYS! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK! GO, BIDOOF!

Rusty then sends out an Bidoof from its Poke Ball, but because that Rusty is temporarily blind from the flash, he threw it over a ravine sending the poor Bidoof to its demise. However, Y/n managed to use his Zubat that Rusty gave him during their time at Mt. Moon as it flew over to the Bidoof and save its own life from falling to its death. After the Zubat saved the poor Bidoof, Y/n and Silhouette set the Bidoof free as it ran away to freedom after it almost died from falling into that ravine by Rusty as he fell into the river due to him being blind from the flash.

Y/n: It's a good thing that my Zubat doesn't have any eyes or else he wouldn't be able to save that poor Bidoof.

Silhouette: Yeah, it's probably best to let it roam free after a near death experience.

Then after Rusty got out of the river, all soaking wet, he decided to use a Zubat next to help him get through the tree by using the move Surf, which Zubats cannot learn that move since he is not a water type and can only learn the HM moves, Fly and Defog.

Rusty: Okay, Zubat #7. Time for us to learn how to surf!

Zubat: ?

Rusty: Eh, he gets it.

Y/n: Dude. That's a terrible idea. Zubat can't learn how to use the move, Surf.

Silhouette: Yeah, I think we should take care of this tree for you. So, how about you put that Zubat back into its Poke Ball before you-

But before Silhouette could finish his sentence, Rusty didn't think twice and threw the poor Zubat into the water and hop on top of it, causing the poor Pokémon to drown himself to death.

Rusty: Hang ten. Faster!

Y/n: Oh god! I'm glad that it wasn't my Zubat that drowned in that lake.

Silhouette: Me either. R.I.P. Zubat #7.

-Soon After...-

Rusty: These HMs aren't working!

Y/n: That's because you wasted them all on your Pokémon, which you killed one of them that you thought it would learn the move Surf.

Silhouette: Yeah, you won't be able to cut down this tree without the right HM to do the job right.

Rusty: You might be onto something guys, but what would Red do in this type of situation.

Rusty then went through his phone and went into Twitter to check out Red's latest tweet that reads, " My Charizard's Flame-thrower really Cuts through the Competition!"

Rusty: (Gasps) That's it!

Y/n: What's it? Did you figure out the right way to get rid of this tree?

Rusty: Even better.

Then Rusty quickly set the tree on fire, burning the tree into ashes, letting the trio a way through to get to the next town.

Y/n: That's not exactly what I meant, but that works too, I guess.

Rusty: Yes! Now we can stop Team Rocket and save the world!

Y/n: That's a smart move, but do you think it's a good idea to set the tree on fire? I mean, what if some of the ashes caused to set any nearby trees on fire that could cause a Forest Fire.

Rusty: Oh, come on. What could possibly go wrong?

Silhouette: Maybe that you actually caused the tree next to the cuttable tree to catch on fire and it quickly caused a massive forest fire that just destroyed an entire town.

Rusty: Oh...oops.

Y/n: I think we should get out of here before the cops arrive.

Silhouette: Good idea.

The trio then ran away as fast as possible before the cops arrive, and they managed to get away scot-free and they would've gotten away if it weren't for that meddling Rusty and his own brand of stupidity.
