Where's Togepi

" So......." Ash said, breaking the awkward silence. " What are we doing today, Professor Rowan?"

" Yeah!* Dawn chimed in. " I'm stoked!"

Wisty scoffed and turned. " You have a class to teach, Rowan."

Rowan rolled his eyes. " We can discuss this later, miss."

Wisty rolled her eyes and walked away, Eevee trailing behind her.

Brock leaned in, " sheesh those two need to calm down."

" You can't really blame 'em." Dawn whispered back. " They are rivals, after all."

" Yeah but even me and Gary weren't like this. The only one time-"

" Mind telling the rest of us what you're whispering about, Ketchum."

Ash turned. " Oh. Easy. I'm -"

Before he could reply he heard stomps.

Dangerous stomps.

" Oh no."

Dawn looked at Ash,. panicked. " What do you mean ' oh no'?!"

Before Ash could reply a very very very angry Wisty barged in. She turned to Rowan.

" You." She said in a dangerous voice. " You. You owe me an explanation right now."

Rowan blinked. " Now-"

Wisty grabbed the dude by the collar. " Don't play dumb with me." She whispered. " I might be eight but I'm way smarter than you."

Rowan opened his mouth, but before he could speak the eight year old did the unthinkable.

She yeeted the professor across the room.

Yeeted.

Ash scrambled to his legs. " Wisty what-*

Wisty turned. " Stay out of this."

Ash backed away nervously. " You got it, ma'am."

Dawn raised a brow. " Why'd you call her ma'am?*

" Because she's angry."

The room was silent, save for the sound of Professor Rowan groaning as he picked himself up from the floor. Wisty stood firm, her tiny frame somehow radiating the energy of a Legendary Pokémon on the verge of going berserk. Eevee mirrored her demeanor, growling low and pacing beside her like a miniature guard dog.

"Let me make this clear," Wisty began, her voice sharp. "You can't hide anything from me, Rowan. What did you do with Mew's DNA? Don't make me ask twice."

Rowan adjusted his coat, glaring at the young girl. "You have no proof I did anything, Wisty. And I don't answer to children."

"Children?" Wisty repeated, taking a step closer. The tension in the air was thick enough to slice with a Razor Leaf. "Funny, considering this 'child' just saved your hide during the incident last week."

Ash leaned toward Dawn and Brock. "This is bad," he whispered.

"You think?" Dawn whispered back. "Why does it feel like we're about to witness a Pokémon battle between two humans?"

"Because we probably are," Brock muttered, keeping a wary eye on the escalating situation.

Wisty raised a hand, her fingers twitching as though she were holding an invisible Poké Ball. Rowan flinched but quickly recovered, puffing his chest out in defiance.

"Enough of this nonsense!" Rowan snapped. "If you want answers, then-"

The door burst open, cutting him off.

"Am I interrupting something?"

Everyone turned to see none other than Gary Oak, casually strolling into the room with his trademark smirk.

"Gary?" Ash exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"

Gary ignored Ash, his gaze fixed on Wisty. "You know, you're really starting to make a name for yourself, Wisty. Yeeting professors now? What's next, challenging Cynthia to a battle?"

Wisty didn't even blink. "If she had answers, I'd consider it."

"Alright," Gary said, clapping his hands together. "Let's all take a deep breath. Wisty, why don't you let Rowan go? He's turning purple."

Reluctantly, Wisty released her grip on Rowan's collar. The professor stumbled back, rubbing his neck and muttering something about "unruly children."

"I'm not done with you," Wisty warned.

"Noted," Rowan replied dryly, retreating to the far side of the room.

Gary turned to Ash and the others. "So, what did I miss?"

Ash sighed. "Honestly? Too much."

Dawn raised a hand. "Quick question-does Wisty have an off button, or is this just how she is all the time?"

Gary chuckled. "Oh, that's just her default setting. High intensity, low patience, and zero tolerance for nonsense."

"Sounds like someone I know," Brock muttered, glancing at Ash.

"Hey!" Ash protested.

Before the banter could continue, Wisty spun around and jabbed a finger in Gary's direction.

"And you!" she snapped. "What are you doing here? Don't tell me you're siding with him."

Gary raised his hands defensively. "Relax, I'm not taking sides. I'm just here to keep the peace."

Wisty scoffed. "Peace? There won't be any peace until I get the truth."

Eevee barked in agreement, its fur bristling with determination.

Gary sighed. "This is going to be a long day, isn't it?"

"Yup," Ash, Dawn, and Brock said in unison.

Wisty glared at Rowan. " I'm asking this once. Where's Togepi."

Rowan blinked. " How should I-"

Wisty grabbed him. " Tell. Me. Now."

" I don't kn-"

The eight year old girl yeeted the professor.

" WHERE IS MY TOGEPI YOU?" Wisty yelled.

Ash sucked through his teeth. " Oh boy."

The room went dead silent again as Professor Rowan sailed through the air for the second time that day, landing unceremoniously in a pile of books. Wisty stood like a force of nature, her small fists clenched and her face burning with righteous fury.

"WHERE IS TOGEPI?" she roared, her voice echoing off the walls.

Ash took a cautious step back. "Wisty, maybe we should, uh, tone it down a little? You're kind of... terrifying right now."

"Terrifying?" Dawn whispered to Brock. "She's beyond terrifying. She's like a Garchomp on a rampage!"

"More like an Arceus-level meltdown," Brock muttered, glancing nervously at Wisty.

Rowan, groaning and dusting himself off, stood up with a dazed expression. "I truly have no idea what you're talking about," he managed, trying to regain his composure.

"LIAR!" Wisty snapped, taking a step toward him. Eevee barked in agreement, its little tail bristling.

Gary pinched the bridge of his nose. "Alright, alright, let's all take a step back before someone ends up in a hospital-or worse."

Wisty shot him a glare. "Stay out of this, Oak."

"Can't do that," Gary said with a smirk, crossing his arms. "As much as I'd love to see Rowan get yeeted a third time, I think it's time we figured out what's really going on here."

Wisty growled, but Ash stepped forward, holding up his hands. "Wisty, listen. We'll help you find Togepi, okay? Just... maybe we don't toss the professor across the room again?"

Dawn nodded quickly. "Yeah! We'll all help. Just tell us what happened."

Wisty hesitated, her fiery glare softening slightly. "Togepi was with me yesterday, and then it disappeared. I know Rowan has something to do with it. He's always talking about 'rare Pokémon' and 'research'!"

Rowan raised an eyebrow, looking genuinely confused. "Miss Wisty, I assure you, I have no interest in stealing anyone's Togepi. My research is strictly ethical!"

"That's what they all say," Wisty muttered darkly.

Gary sighed. "Okay, how about this? We split up and search for Togepi. If Rowan really doesn't have it, we'll prove it. Sound good?"

Wisty crossed her arms, clearly unimpressed. "Fine. But if I find out you're lying, Rowan..." She let the threat hang in the air, her tone enough to send chills down everyone's spines.

"Noted," Rowan said weakly, adjusting his collar.

Ash clapped his hands together. "Alright, gang! Let's find Togepi before things get even crazier."

"Is that even possible?" Brock muttered as they all began to move.

Behind them, Wisty cracked her knuckles. "You better hope I find Togepi soon, Rowan."

"Why do I feel like I'm in danger even though I'm innocent?" Rowan mumbled, following reluctantly.

T

he moment Wisty spotted Togepi in the research area, her eyes flared with a mix of rage and vindication. She pointed an accusatory finger at Professor Rowan.

"LIAR!" she screeched, her voice so loud it made several nearby Pokémon scatter. "YOU! HOW DARE YOU?"

Rowan instinctively stepped back, hands raised in a desperate attempt to placate the furious eight-year-old. "I swear to you, young lady, I had nothing to do with this! Togepi must have wandered in here on its own-"

But Wisty wasn't in the mood to hear excuses.

"YOU STOLE MY TOGEPI!" she yelled, lunging toward him.

Ash, Dawn, and Brock all dove in at once to try and intervene.

"Wisty, wait!" Ash called.

"Wisty, calm down!" Dawn added, grabbing her by the arm.

Brock tried to position himself between her and Rowan, hands outstretched in a protective stance. "Let's not do anything drastic!"

But Wisty, powered by sheer anger and an unshakable sense of justice, was unstoppable. With a strength that defied her small frame, she broke free from Dawn's grip, ducked around Brock, and went straight for Rowan.

And let's just say... things didn't end well.

Togepi, caught in the middle of the chaos, chirped in confusion as Wisty's wrath unleashed a domino effect of destruction. Rowan tripped over a chair in his attempt to escape. Ash tried to dive after Wisty but ended up knocking over a stack of delicate equipment. Dawn slipped on a loose Pokéball, sending it flying into a row of shelves. Brock, in an attempt to catch falling machinery, only managed to knock over even more.

When the dust settled, the once pristine research area looked like a battlefield. Broken equipment, toppled books, and scattered Pokémon paraphernalia were everywhere.

Rowan sat on the ground, wide-eyed and disheveled. "This... this is why I don't work with children," he muttered, his voice shaking.

Wisty, holding Togepi protectively in her arms, glared at him. "This is on you, Professor."

Ash scratched the back of his head, surveying the damage. "So, uh... who's gonna explain this to the authorities?"

Gary strolled in at that moment, taking in the scene with a raised eyebrow. "You know, for once, I'm glad I stayed out of it."

"Shut it, Oak!" everyone shouted in unison.
