" Hey Dawn! What's up?"
Dawg groaned. " Kenny, I need help with my nieces."
" Okay, I'm coming!"
" Wait, you're not gonna tease me?*
Kenny grinned. " I'll tease you in front of the kids."
Dawn groaned.

When Kenny stepped into the house, he ducked as a block soared through the sky
" Avery! Stop that!" Dres scolded, then waved at her boy. " Hi Kenny!"
" Wook, Mia!" Avery yelled, pointing at Drew. " It's Aunt Dawn's husband!"
Kenny blinked, and Drew choked on her breath. " What?!"
Averh gave an innocent smile. " Yeah! Mommy say when two people wike eat oder, dey mawy!"
" Did they say that?" Dawn's asked with a dark expression . " Your mom is in big trouble."
Mia, Avery's ten year old sister, looked up from her tablet. " Hmmmm...." She said, surveying Kenny and Daen. " No, this will not do."
Dawn blinked. " What will not do?"
Mia ignored. " Aunt Dawn, go into that bathroom._ she said, pointing to one. " And uncle Kenny, the other."
" But wh-"
Avery shot Dawn a look, and a sweatdrop appeared on her head. " Okay okay...."

When they came out, they blinked and stared at one another.
Dawn was wearing a pale blue gown with a pink veil. Kenny was wearing a white starched shirt with a pale green vest
" Uh.... You look nice?" Kennt offered.
Dawn gave him a look " you don't look half bad yourself."
" Hey!" He exclaimed. But before he could say another word, Mia came in.
" Ah, good. You two are ready. Come on, the guests are waiting."
" What are the guests for?* Dawn asked.
" Your wedding."
" OUR WEDDING?!" they yelled.
But before they could say anything else, Lily had already thrown them out.
When Dawn stood, the first thing she saw was Ash, Misty, Brock, and May confused and dressed in fancy attire.
" Uh..... Who's the wedding for?" Misty asked, confused.
Dawn blinked, her mouth hanging open in disbelief as she scanned the backyard. The place had been decorated in pastel streamers, white chairs, and flowers that looked suspiciously like they were stolen from Mrs. Ketchum’s garden. A small podium stood at the front, and Mia stood behind it, looking very pleased with herself.
Ash was slumped in his seat, whispering to Misty. “Do you know what’s going on?”
“Not a clue,” Misty replied, shaking her head. “But apparently, we’re guests at a wedding.”
May leaned over to Brock. “Do you think they’re serious about this? Dawn and Kenny?”
Brock rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “I think they’re as confused as we are.”
Meanwhile, Dawn and Kenny were being ushered down the makeshift aisle by Avery, who was giggling nonstop.
“Look at Aunt Dawn and Uncle Kenny!” Avery cheered. “They’re gonna kiss and be married!”
Dawn hissed under her breath, “I am going to have a very long talk with your mother after this.”
Kenny sighed. “Remind me never to babysit again.”
At the podium, Mia cleared her throat dramatically. “Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Aunt Dawn and Uncle Kenny. They are perfect for each other—”
“Hey, I didn’t agree to this!” Kenny interrupted.
“Shhhh!” Mia scolded, waving a finger at him. “You’ll ruin the moment! As I was saying, they are perfect for each other because they argue all the time, and that’s what true love is. Now, they will recite their vows!”
Dawn folded her arms. “We didn’t write any vows.”
Mia grinned devilishly. “Oh, but I did!” She held up two neatly folded pieces of paper. “Uncle Kenny, you first.”
“What?!” Kenny looked like he wanted to bolt. “I’m not reading that.”
Mia narrowed her eyes. “You will read it, or I’ll tell Grandma that you broke her favorite lamp last year.”
Kenny groaned. “Fine, fine!” He snatched the paper and began to read aloud, his voice dripping with sarcasm at first. “Ahem. ‘Dawn, from the moment I met you, I knew you were special. Your laugh is like sunshine, your smile brighter than the stars. You drive me crazy, but in the best way. I promise to always be by your side, even when you’re yelling at me for eating the last cookie.’”
He paused, glaring at Mia. “You really wrote this?”
Mia nodded proudly. “Keep going!”
Kenny rolled his eyes but continued. “‘You’re my best friend, my partner in crime, and the person I want to annoy for the rest of my life. I love you, Dawn.’”
Dawn stared at him, her cheeks bright red. “I—what?! That’s not fair! I’m not saying anything like that!”
“Oh, but you are!” Mia chirped, handing her the second paper.
Dawn groaned but took it reluctantly. “Fine. But don’t expect me to mean any of this.” She cleared her throat. “Kenny, you’re a pain in my neck—”
Mia coughed loudly.
Dawn scowled and started again. “Kenny, you’re my rock. Even when you’re annoying, you’re there for me. You always know how to make me laugh, even when I don’t want to. I promise to keep you grounded, to challenge you, and to never let you eat the last cookie without a fight. You’re my best friend, my rival, and somehow… the person I can’t imagine life without.”
Kenny blinked. “Wow. That was… wow.”
“Don’t start,” Dawn muttered, shoving the paper at Mia.
Mia clapped her hands together. “Now for the rings!” She pulled out a tiny velvet box from her pocket and opened it to reveal two gold bands.
“Where did you even get those?!” Dawn asked, horrified.
“Etsy,” Mia said nonchalantly. “Now, put them on each other!”
Before they could protest, Avery jumped up and held the rings out. “Come on! This is the best part!”
Grumbling under their breaths, Kenny and Dawn slipped the rings onto each other’s fingers.
“Perfect!” Mia declared. “Now, Uncle Kenny, you may kiss the bride!”
“Absolutely not!” Dawn and Kenny shouted in unison.
Avery pouted, her big eyes brimming with fake tears. “But you have to! That’s what happens at weddings!”
Dawn glared at Kenny. “This is your fault.”
“My fault?!” Kenny retorted. “You’re the one who let them dress us up!”
“Oh, just do it!” Misty called from the audience, laughing.
With a defeated sigh, Kenny leaned in and gave Dawn the quickest, most awkward kiss on the cheek.
“There. Happy now?” he grumbled.
Mia beamed. “Yes! You’re officially married!”
Dawn threw her veil on the ground. “We are not married!”
“Doesn’t matter,” Mia said smugly. “This is going in the family scrapbook!”
