900 foot ghost
" OLD MAN OUTTA MY WAAAAAAAAAAAY!"
Ash stood up quickly as Wisty ran into the classroom, screaming bloody murder.
" Wisty what happened?!"
" WHAT DO YOU THINK?!" Wisty shrieked back.
" EVEVEVEVEVEVEVEVEVEVCEVE EVEVEVE!!!!"
" WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!"
" EEVEEEEEEE!"
" SO YOU'RE SAYING -"
" EEVEE!!!"
Wisty took Ash's old Pokedex out and pressed a button.
" Ghost Pokemon are weak against Dark types."
" Eevee, Umbreon form, now."
" Eevee!"
Eevee backflipped and turned into Umbreon.
" Go out with Houndour and both of you use Dark Pulse, got it? With enough luck we might be able to defeat whatever it is. Got it?"
" Houndour!!"
" Umbre!"
The two dark types ran out and Wisty sighed in relief. " Togepi did you know what that thing was?"
" Toge?" The small egg Pokemon said from her back.
" What about you Chikerita?"
" Chikaaa."
" Pikachu!!!"
Wisty followed Pikachu with her eyes as he jumped off Ash's shoulder and hopped onto Wisty's, rubbing her cheek. " Chaaa!*
" Hi Pikachu! How are you?"
" Chaaaa!!"
" Hey, Wisty?"
Wisty looked at her brother. " Hmmm?"
" Why'd you run in here like a maniac?"
" Oh, no reason." Wisty said sarcastically. " Because I felt like it."
" Oh. Cool."
Wisty groaned before an idea struck into her head. " Pikachu?" She asked as she turned to the electric Pokemon.
" Pika?"
" Do you know Zippy Zap?"
" Chu?" Pikachu tilted his head
Wisty grinned. " No need to worry! I'll teach you!"
Dawn leaned in to Brock. " She just stole my line."
" She does that a lot."
" Ready?" Wisty asked Pikachu as she stood on all four.
" Cha!"
Wisty looked at Ash, who was gathered with all the campers. He nodded, and Wisty nodded back.
" Wisty, use Zippy Zap!"
Wisty charged at the opponent ( a cardboard box) and did a skull bash at it.
It ripped in half.
Then she landed on all fours and turned to Pikachu. " Your turn."
" Pika!"
" Ready?"
" Chu!"
" Pikachu, use Zippy Zap!" Wisty commanded.
" Pika Pika...." He said as he charged.
" PIKA!" He yelled as he did the skull bash.
Wisty grabbed Pikachu and grinned as she turned to the door. " Great! Now use that on a 900 foot tall ghost."
" Pika... PIKA CHU?!"
" Oh, don't be silly." Wisty said as she walked out of the room, holding the squirming rodent. " You'll be fine."
Ash looked at Gary, who shrugged then clapped his hands. " Okay campers back to the classroom."
" ... And that's how you- HOLD ON A SECOND!"
Ash blinked. " What happened?"
" Didn't Wisty say something about a 900 foot ghost a few minutes back?"
Ash froze, the color draining from his face. "She did mention that, didn’t she?"
Dawn crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow. "You mean to tell me Wisty ran in here screaming about a ghost and you didn’t think to ask more questions?!"
Gary sighed, shaking his head. "Typical Ash. Always missing the details."
Ash scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "I thought she was just being dramatic!"
Brock stood, adjusting his vest. "We better find her before she gets herself into more trouble."
Wisty stood in a clearing, holding Pikachu like a football. Umbreon and Houndour were positioned in front of her, growling at the ominous figure floating in the distance. It was a massive ghost-like Pokémon, its translucent body shimmering with eerie energy.
"Okay team, here's the plan!" Wisty declared, setting Pikachu down. "We hit it hard and fast before it even realizes what's happening!"
Pikachu gave her a wide-eyed look. "Pika-pi?!"
"Don't give me that look! You learned Zippy Zap in like two seconds—you’ve got this!" Wisty said, giving Pikachu a thumbs up.
The ghost Pokémon let out a deep, bone-chilling roar, causing the ground to tremble.
Houndour barked nervously. "Houn-houn!"
Umbreon’s rings began to glow faintly as it stepped closer to Wisty protectively. "Umbre!"
Wisty tightened her ponytail, her grin unshaken. "That's right, we don’t back down! Let’s show this ghost who’s boss!"
...
Ash and the others sprinted through the forest, following the sounds of distant roars and Wisty’s unmistakable yelling.
"I don’t get it!" Dawn panted, glancing at Ash. "Why is your sister like this?!"
Ash rolled his eyes. "I ask myself that every day."
Gary frowned as they approached the clearing. "I just hope we’re not too late—whatever she’s up against sounds serious."
As they burst through the trees, they saw Wisty standing her ground, her team already engaged in battle.
"UMBREEON, DARK PULSE! HOUNDOUR, FLAMETHROWER! PIKACHU—USE ZIPPY ZAP!"
Umbreon and Houndour obeyed, their attacks colliding with the ghost Pokémon in an explosion of light and fire. Pikachu hesitated for a moment, then charged in with Zippy Zap, landing a direct hit.
The ghost Pokémon roared in fury but didn’t falter. Instead, it countered with Shadow Ball, sending the group scattering.
"Whoa!" Wisty yelped as she barely dodged the attack. "That was close!"
Ash cupped his hands around his mouth. "WISTY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Wisty turned to see her brother and the others. "Oh, great, the cavalry’s here! Took you long enough!"
Gary stepped forward, surveying the situation. "That’s no ordinary ghost—it’s a Gigantamax Gengar! What were you thinking trying to fight it alone?!"
Wisty grinned. "What can I say? I like a challenge!"
Ash groaned, slapping his forehead. "Unbelievable…"
Before anyone could argue further, the Gengar roared again, preparing another attack.
"Enough talking!" Wisty yelled. "If you’re here, you might as well help! Everyone, let’s take it down together!"
Gary smirked, tossing out a Pokéball. "You heard her. Blastoise, let’s go!"
Ash called out Lucario, while Dawn and Brock sent out Piplup and Steelix.
"Okay, everyone!" Wisty shouted, pointing dramatically. "Focus your attacks on its core—let’s show this oversized ghost who’s boss!"
The Pokémon all unleashed their strongest moves, their combined power creating a blinding explosion. As the dust settled, the Gengar swayed, letting out a final roar before shrinking back to its normal size.
Wisty collapsed onto the ground with a triumphant laugh. "Ha! And they said I was crazy!"
Ash crossed his arms, glaring down at her. "You are crazy!"
She winked up at him. "But it worked, didn’t it?"
Gary sighed, shaking his head. "You’re impossible, Wisty."
Brock chuckled. "At least she keeps things interesting."
Wisty grinned, giving them a thumbs-up. "No need to worry, right?"
Dawn groaned. "She really did steal my line!"
