This ship appeared in the third volume of the Pokémon Adventures/Special manga. Red, while he's in the Viridian Forest saves a girl from a wild Dragonair, then, he teaches her how to catch her own Pokémon (a Rattata). At first, we didn't know her name (As Yellow) until the Yellow volumes. This girl quickly formed a HUGE crush on Red (Do you honestly blame her??) She blushes immensely when he's around or if he's talked about, she has doodles of him and his Pokémon in her notebook, and he has rescued her on countless occasions. Did I also mention that her Pikachu (nicknamed "Chuchu") is the mate of Red's Pikachu?? (They're baby is owned by Gold) However, despite all of Yellow's clear attraction, Red doesn't appear all that interested (well, not that he doesn't like her, it's just that he hasn't made it as obvious as she does) I find this shipping Extremely cute and its one of their best pairings I have seen with Red. It is the typical shy girl with a big crush on a celebrity like guy!!
