Before you start roleplaying, please read below.

Many years ago there was a devastating storm that swept across the world for months at a time. Earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, and many other environmental disasters shook the Earth. Many pokemon died as a result. No one knew where or how this storm was formed.

The world was thought to be at an end until the Legendaries worked together to take control of the storm. They created a stone that kept the storm at bay and also controlled the storm itself. It was called the Stone of Storms and was locked away deep beneath the Earth's surface so that no pokemon could possess such power.

Many caves and mazes, called Dungeons, appeared throughout the planet. It is said that one of them leads to the Stone of Storms, but no one has ever found it to prove that theory.

With the storm gone and the appearance of the Dungeons, came the creation of exploration teams. These teams were organized by Guilds, which were set in every town. The teams would be given missions, whether it be a rescue mission or a mission in search of valuable treasures. The Dungeons are considered dangerous as they are occupied by many thieves, outlaws, and bandit groups.

As peace settled in, the Guilds continued to grow and exploration teams continued to study and explore deeper into the Dungeons.
