Someone who has been deemed slightly eccentric by his peers. Ambrose is quite the friendly fellow with a few odd habits. For one he always seems to greet people as though he's known them for a long time. He'd approach a stranger and chat it up, and to anyone looking they'd assume he was greeting a childhood friend. He's always smiling, so it's impossible to tell what he's thinking or feeling when he looks so positive all the time. It's namely these habits that leave people guessing, though it isn't a front. Ambrose usually is in a good mood, ever the optimistic person. However he doesn't believe the world is sunshine and rainbows, even if he may seem like it. He's far more mature then he looks, handling the troubles that come with owning a gym with ease.

Loves being coddled by Ambrose, and will often hold out his arms to be picked up. Hoax is a bit of a trouble maker, using those steel trap jaws of his to spook unsuspecting people. If scolded, he'll fake tears and run right to Ambrose. Many people mistake him for a girl.

A bit of a brute who loves fighting. He has quite the temper, and can be a bit difficult at times. Thankfully he's never hard for Ambrose seeing as he holds great respect for his trainer. Snare enjoys helping out with any and all forms of heavy lifting, seeing it as a way to show off his strength.

Bong looks sad alot for some reason, almost as if they are going through something. Thankfully, one thing they seem to enjoy the most is jazz music, which Ambrose plays for them. As he quietly floats about, Bong has a habit of scaring people when they turn around.

With her large and imposing build, Keen scares alot of people at first. However she's a total lovebird around Ambrose, chirping along whenever he plays music and giving shade from a wing when it's too hot out. She's also a big snuggler, and gives really nice hugs.

Has a terrible habit of using heavy machinery as a chew toy. Ambrose often offers him a piece of whatevers he's building to test it's durability seeing as the Bastiodon can crunch through just about anything. Chevy enjoys trying to fit on Ambrose's lap like a dog, and always lets out happy sighs.

King is the steel gyms icon and Ambrose's first pokemon aswell as his ace. She's huge and terrifying to most people, but is actually quite sweet, especially to her trainer.  Due to her size she's extremely cautious when moving around, and is surprisingly gentle. She'll cart Ambrose around atop her head, and let her teammates use her body like a jungle gym

| BACKGROUND |

Ambrose lived a pretty hands off childhood where his parents allowed him to do whatever it was that he wanted as long as it was within reason. Thankfully he didn't do anything crazy, going through school with fairly good grades. The idea of building things interested him so much that he began creating things in his spare time, mainly fun little things that moved or were remote controlled. 

His creations caught the eye of a the towns local gym leader, who had hopes of nurturing Ambrose's ability to create. It went pretty well and eventually he was offered a position as the next gym leader - which he took after some thought. From the age of twenty, Ambrose has been the gym leader of his town, specializing in steel types specifically. He's also earned a reputation of being a high tech wiz who can make anything with the right material.

Ambrose's badge is called the Iron Bar Badge, and looks like a flat iron bar with a metallic sheen. It's also smooth to the touch.

Ambrose has a rotom phone! It has a gray phone case with stickers of all his pokemon!

Ambrose's gym is the last one challengers face before heading on to the elite four, so his team is picked to be a bit of a challenge.

oc is a gym leader that specializes in one specific type of pokemon. Must be 20+

Managing a gym is hard work, as any gym leader knows. Being available frequently to battle challengers, managing your gym, being a public face....it's a lot. Thankfully, once a year for a entire month, gyms close. This is to give gym leaders and staff time off, a well deserved trip to the Pokemon Resort! It's a huge island with environments that suit a variety of pokemon. The place is always rented out by the Pokemon League for two weeks(the rest of the month can be spent at home), just for gym leaders to kick back. You can get a tan, battle the local wildlife, anything your heart desires! And finally, it's time for all that to happen.

You've officially been on the resort for a few days now, enjoying your freedom. Your pokemon are out and about, frolicking in the large space. One of your pokemon nudges you, looking a bit peckish. Alright, maybe it's time to eat. You take out dishes that you'd brought with the intention for a picnic, only for your heart to drop when you did a head count.

One of your pokemon...was missing.

It's not impossible to get lost, the island is pretty big after all. The thought is absolutely terrifying as you run around, calling your pokemons name. Where could they be?

Suddenly there's a shadow overhead and you look up, only to see a mass  of feathers and gleaming red eyes. It's a Corviknight, landing infront of you with it's wings spread.

"Cooorr" It cooes, but the way it looks down it's beak at you is quite intimidating. One of your pokemon takes a protective stance at your side, ready to fend off the bird. The Corviknight seems to stiffen, and it looks like the two are about to fight. You should really do something... [your response?]
