Discovery (I)
Mewtwo's POV
Yellow, she was nice trainer. Really, I liked her even when she was sloppy at times. I wasn't her Pokemon, she believed. She considered me a friend even though I looked scary. But the scariest thing was a mirror, whenever I saw it, I freaked out.
She kept me away from her family members. Her uncle was one of the people who had knowledge of my existence. His name was Wilton who Yellow called Uncle Will.
In the morning, he walked seven kilometer East to a river to catch water Pokemon, for reasons. And that happened daily, surprisingly he never asked for my help.
I lived in a secret room in Uncle Will's house, the room was meant to be a store room to keep bottles of golden liquid he called Booze. I was pretty sure whatever it was, it wasn't good as Uncle Will did filthy things after drinking it.
'I know where I have to go', I thought. I flew a few feet above Will's house. Looking at the house, I smiled.
I felt the cold wind as I launched upwards. In a few seconds, I had a nice view of the area. My eyes scrolled to a huge building in South and I flew in it's direction.
I landed with a thud in front of the building. Before it was a fence made of steel. A sign board read - Power Plant.
'What kind of plant is that ?', I asked to myself, walking further. Then I shouted, 'Zapdos !?'.
I was expecting a response but no luck. The fence had a sign board too that read - Danger. It also had a human skull on it.
The fence was probably electric, and I had a sudden random thought. It has a human skull on it. What if a Pokemon touches it ?
Expecting it wouldn't affect me, I touched the fence. And it worked, no, it didn't work. I mean, my plan worked and the fence didn't.
Suddenly, a shriek was heard and Zapdos appeared in the light blue sky. He slowly landed in front of me.
'What are you doing here ?', asked he. 'I thought some kid caught you'.
'I let him catch me', I said. 'And I might need your help'.
'My help ? Why would you need my help ? I thought you were the most powerful Pokemon of all time', said Zapdos, flapping his wings.
'No wait', I said. 'You are here to protect this region right ?'.
'I am', said Zapdos, smirking. 'What ? Is your parent causing some harm to it ?'.
I took a deep breathe. 'There is going to be a battle between worlds. I just need your help for that. Please'.
'Too much for a legendary. I can't'.
'I can't find others', I said. 'You were the nearest and the easiest legendary bird to find'.
'So you need only one of us ? Ask Moltres, he would help you, surely. You can find him in Mount Ember, that's in Sevii Islands'.
'Sevii Islands ? That's quite far from here', I said.
'That's the real challenge', said Zapdos, flapping his wings and flying upwards. 'Good luck'.
'Mount Ember, huh ?', I asked myself. 'Come on Orchid, you can do this'.
I dashed South. Hopefully my brain knew where Sevii Islands were because I was not in a mood to go back.
I flew across cities and towns and finally over the Kanto Sea, making my way through the clouds towards the Pacific Ocean.
The wind was of moderate temperature, I could see a few yachts and ships scattered in the ocean. It wasn't customary for that many ships to be in water at the same time.
Yet, I continued to the islands I could see near the horizon. The islands awaited my presence and I knew I had to be there.
Flying was the greatest experience, I almost felt like a superhero. Plus, I was an anthropomorphic Pokemon, so I felt more superman-ish. If I were a Pidgey, I would feel more like a bird. Or if I were a Doduo or Dodrio, it wouldn't be so great as I would only be jumping.
A beautiful beach can be seen that belonged to one of the islands. People were surfing on the waves, so just swam here and there. Some lied on the beach, taking Vitamin D from the sun.
I flew further to avoid any attention. The island was small, it had a resort and a house on a hill.
The house was small and was near the mini-waterfall that also filled the resort swimming pool.
I looked around to see if there was some mountain around. And I saw it, but it wasn't on the island I was hovering above.
The mountain was on another island that seemed much bigger.
The island had a huge Pokecentre, a few houses around it. Then a nice road heading towards a mountain. I was sure it was Mount Ember and I hovered in it's direction.
Bill's POV
Celio didn't want me around anymore. He said he needed some alone time. Also, he needed to find the two modulators he lost in Mount Ember, oh that was a funny story.
'Bill, I'm telling you to go. I've been searching for them for a month now', said Celio. 'I have to make new ones'.
'New ones ? Dude, they were too expensive, and it took two years to build them. Making new ones is a bad option', I said.
'I have no other choice, by now, someone must've stolen them', said Celio. 'Can you please go I need to think ?'.
'As you wish, but I'm telling you, what you're thinking is not an option', said Bill.
I walked to the front door of the Pokecentre and stepped outside into the heat of One Island.
I yawned and my eyes opened looking up to the clouds. And I saw something flying in them.
'Could it be ? Mew ?', I said, running in the direction it was headed.
Mewtwo's POV
Probably not the worst day. I've been flying for hours and still, I knew it wasn't my worst day. The worst day of my life was when I was created, which dated back to 6 February 1999.
'Moltres !', I shouted, landing on the top of Mount Ember.
The top looked exactly the place where one could find Moltres. The mountain peak was not exactly a peak, it was flat. The grass on the top was burnt, black colored marks could be seen.
In a distance was a small cave. I tiptoed inside and saw a pile of junk. The trash consisted of Coca-Cola bottles, Pringles and Pizza boxes.
Just next to it was a pile of bones that seemed to belong to both humans and Pokemon. For a second, I was scared.
Then I heard flapping sounds from behind.
'You shouldn't be here', said a deep scary voice. The voice probably belonged to a very ferocious and intimidating Pokemon.
I turned around and the flames blinded me.
'Hah, did I scare you ?', asked Moltres, entering the cave.
He was not really that scary. The flames went back inside his body. His stomach jumped upwards and then fell back down as if he was twelve months pregnant.
'Moltres. You are...very...', I said.
'I am ?', he asked, followed by a long lasting burp. 'Oh sorry'.
'Why are you so...big ?', I asked.
'Uh, nowadays we legendaries don't have stuff to do, so I just lie around eating and drinking', said Moltres. 'Oof'.
'Um. I might use your help for a few hours', I said. 'Please ?'.
'Why kinda help ?', he asked.
'The dangerous kind', I said.
'Danger ? Nothing's dangerous for me, kid, not anymore', he said, confident.
'Perfect, let's go', I said.
'No ! I need some sleep. For like a few days, then maybe I can help you'.
'This is urgent', I said, literally begging.
'Please, understand. Talk to Zapdos, I give you hundred percent guarantee that he'll help you', said Moltres.
'If he denies ?', I asked, smirking.
'Then, I'll stop eating this rubbish', said Moltres.
'Then you might want to stop right away. Cause he already did', I said.
'Wait, what ?', snapped Moltres. 'This isn't fair'.
'Yes, it is', I said.
Moltres opened his mouth to eat one of the Pringles. I looked at them and created a wall using Barrier around it.
'This is outrageous', said Moltres, angered.
'You won't eat them', I said. 'Kaboom !'.
The barrier surrounding the junk food blasted everything in it. All the food was burnt.
Moltres fell to his stomach. Then flapped his wings to get up.
'What did you do ?', cried Moltres.
'You call yourself a legendary ? Your job is to die protecting this region. Not die eating chips. Get yourself in shape, you look ridiculous'.
'And you look like a Me-', said Moltres, interrupted.
'If you don't want to get thrown away from this mountain, do not say that name', I said.
'What ? I was gonna saw Meowth', said Moltres. 'Did you really think I'll ever say....Mew ?'.
'You dare say it again', I said.
'You know I can fly, so you can't really throw me off of this mountain', said Moltres. 'Mew...two'.
My hand automatically pointed at Moltres and held him with Psychic, then threw him off the mountain.
I quickly flew towards him. He was really falling, falling to his death.
He flapped his wings continuously, but instead of going up, he went downwards.
'Help !', he screamed.
'I thought you could actually fly', I said, flying right beside him as he fell freely.
'No, please, I don't wanna die', said Moltres.
'Okay, but you will help me', I said.
'I can't help you if I'm dead', shouted Moltres.
He was meters away from the ground. I held him using Psychic and slowly put him down.
Moltres took a deep breath and walked to a rock, then, he puked.
'Eww', I said. 'I wonder who protects you'.
'Protects me ?', asked Moltres, panting. 'Dude, I'm a legendary Pokemon you see. No one protects me-eeeeee'. Moltres accidentally stepped on his thrown out junk and slid into a point rock, unfortunately it's edges weren't sharp enough it to cut him in half.
'Well, you were saying-', I said as Moltres fell to the ground.
'Uh, yes. But how did you know ?', asked Moltres. 'That someone was protecting me ?'.
Explaining Moltres that his careless behaviour and bad body shape led to the thought that someone was protecting him, wasn't really a good idea.
'Uh, a hunch ?', I said.
'Oh. Well, parents do protect you right ?', asked Moltres, I was going to Psycho-Cut Moltres but then I stopped. 'Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realise. But my parent do. And he is very overprotective. If anything bad happens to me, he would sense it and come to heal me'.
'Oh, is that the reason legendaries never die ?', I asked. 'I think so'.
'Absolutely, you are correct', said Moltres.
'And if anything happens to your parent ?', I asked.
'Then, the Gods come to protect him', said Moltres. 'But until the God comes, legendaries shall remain faded'.
'Faded ?', I asked.
'Yeah, cause we can't be killed. I don't know if that goes for you too', said Moltres.
'No. It doesn't. I'm not a legendary Pokemon. I'm not even a Pokemon, shouldn't be considered one', I said in sorrow.
'Ah, cheer up. I shouldn't exist too. It's like I do anything other than sleeping', said Moltres.
'-And eating', I completed.
'So ? Shall we head to Mount Silver ? Articuno must be there for sure', said Moltres.
Okay, let's get outta here', I said. 'How are you gonna fly ? Now must be a good time to get in shape'.
Moltres flapped open his wings and forced his bulgy stomach inside. He looked like he was young again, powerful and great like the other legendary birds.
'That's my secret, I'm always in shape', he said, beginning to fly upwards. He stretched his wings and flapped forcefully, his body started to lift itself up.
In a few moments, he was in the air. It was miracle. I was surprised. How could a Pokemon even do that ? Changing body shape was extraordinary.
Suddenly, his stomach bulged out with great pressure, followed by wobble sound. Moltres fell to the ground.
'Damn it', said Moltres.
