Nate's Pov

I started cheering for Rosa on the stands even though the battle hasn't started

"You got to be kidding me..." Hugh groaned behind me "if you never brought her here, i could've been the one to battle my first gym"

"Chill bro" Mike laughed next to him "why cant you let go of the fact that she use to be part of Team Plasma? Its not like they lasted, and she rescued abused Pokemon. why do you hate her?"

"I will never forgive Team Plasma..." Hugh muttered

"I don't see whats there to hate about Rosa. even though shes cold, theres a reason for it, her shadow" Jack smiled "did you see that shine in her eyes?" He ran his fingers in his hair and leaned downward in awe "and her hair... and her voice..." i narrowed my brows at him

"Don't forget her curves" Cam smirked. i glared

"Hey! Back off! Shes mine!" I blushed when i realized i just said that "i mean..."

"Uh no, you got the A sisters, give us a shot on getting the girl" i shook my head "what ever happened to that Yancy girl? Didn't you say she was a famous idol or something?"

"Well..." Yancy was a odd story to talk about "after I discovered that she was an idol, I had to call it off. a international police has to be hidden and if the public found out about us... you know" I sighed "but forget it! Rosa is mi-"

"Hey Nate!" The A sisters rushed over to sit around me "is this seat taken?" Ally asked in a flirty way. i chuckled and put my arms around them while they leaned on my shoulder

"Go ahead" i had completely forgot about the match once i started talking to the girls. I looked down and saw Meloetta frowning at me...

I looked up and saw that the match had already started, Rosa was sitting on the floor while running her hands in her bangs

"What happened?" I asked, how can i get so distracted when one of my friends is battling a gym leader

'She was looking at you and she feels a stab of cold in her heart' i frowned and watched her stand back up

Rosa's Pov

I was walking with Cheren towards the battle field "ill be honest with you, i know you're a skilled trainer. if you can beat Nate in a Pokemon battle, the Pokemon that i was going to use won't have to chance... So if you don't mind" he smiled at me "I would like to use my original team that I used while traveling the Unova region 2 years ago" i shrugged

"Don't care" he nodded and walked towards the end of the battle field after he dropped me off here. i took out the Pokeballs from my bag and looked at them all... I'm going to battle a gym leader... I never saw the day

I would've gave Hugh the opportunity the battle him, but since he keeps yelling, demanding, and calling me street rat, he can forget it

"I will use 2 Pokemon! You may use as many as you like!" He yelled. i looked over at Nate and saw him flirting with those girls that were trying to bully me the other day. he wasn't even paying attention to me... I should have known. i held my heart in pain. Why would someone like a player like him care about me? I only agree to be his partner in crime, nothing else... so why does it hurt?

I lost balance and sat down for a minute "are you alright?!" Cheren yelled. i didn't answer him, I looked back at Nate now looking my way near Meloetta, with a concern face

I snorted and got up. I don't care if he doesn't care or if he does, he's nothing to me. "I haven't used this baby in a long while!" He said while taking out a Pokeball and making it bigger "go Serperior!" He send out a grass type with no arms and sharp eyes "how you doing buddy?!" He grinned. Serperior closed its eyes while smiling "please show me the Pokemon you will be using!" I nodded and took out a Pokeball, not even caring which one I use

I threw it up in the air and send out Castform. I could see everyone's confused face "interesting choice" Cheren smiled. he's annoying... "you may have the first move"

"Whatever..." I muttered. if I remember correctly, Serperior uses the sunshine to gain power and speed, but there's hardly any around here, so let's make the clouds darker "Castform, hail storm!" Castform cried out to the sky and made it hail, damaging Serperior with the thick hail

"Serperior! Leaf Tornado!" Serperior jumped in the air and started creating a tornado of leafs around Castform, making her move with the wind in her snow form

"Castform!" I frowned "blizzard!" The leafs started freezing and the wind turned white, causing the iced leafs to shoot out of control "Meloetta! Make a barrier!" Meloetta nodded and protected the class, Cheren and me before getting hit, but a iced leaf already hit my face. my eyes widened as I felt something drip downward to my neck. I shut my eyes

"Rosa!" I heard Nate yell, I shook my head and pretended it was only water, even though the stinging burned like crazy

"Fire blast!" Castform nodded, dodging every leaf until the wind died down, Serperior was already badly damaged. she shot out a large ring of fire towards it, the ring turned into a X, hitting Serperior, making it drop on ground, fainting

The area was quiet. I sighed and whipped my sweat away... which forgot was the blood that I tried avoiding. my breathing thickened and I felt every part of me wanting to scream and yell to my mom and dad... the flashes of their heads smashing on the car after our wreak haunted me...

I let out of my scream and cried like someone was going to kill me "water gun!" I ordered Castform. she shot a water gun at my face so the blood could come off.

I calmed down and hugged myself, it's cold... Meloetta flew over with Nate's jacket and put it over my shoulder. I stared at her as she healed up my wound

'You are alright now, Rosa' she smiled and disappeared. I sighed and looked up at Cheren, staring

"Are you alright there Rosa?" He asked concerned. I ignored him and returned Castform "well then, I'm glad you're okay" he sighed in relief and had already returned Serperior "you're so much like Angel... strong and quick in battles" I blushed. hearing that I was like Angel made me kinda... happy.. because she was always so sweet to me, even if we were complete strangers

"Haxorus! You're up!" He releases a large Dragon Type that was taller then any of my Pokemon... "what Pokemon will you choose?" He smirked. I picked out a Pokeball and send out Ditto

"Transform" Ditto transformed into the same Dragon Type

"Very clever... Dragon Type vs. Dragon Type, this should be interesting" he comment "but let's see where the type advantage takes us" the two Pokemon went in a tie, Ditto and Haxorus were both down. Ditto wasn't even a fighter, it only helped me disguise myself. since most of my Pokemon were still healthy, I was the one that won the gym battle.

"Yeah!!" Nate cheered very loudly. I rolled my eyes and hugged myself. I send out Castform to use sunny day, it begun to feel warmer, but it won't last

Nate ran over to me and lift me in the air in circles happily. I stared at his happy face, I can't help but giggle while he spun me

"You're awesome!" He laughed after he put me down. Cheren walked over and gave a big smile

"Amazing! I could never see why i cant win.." He sweatdropped "but congratulations, as proof of your victory, i like to give you this" he looked up "Jenny!" A little girl with brown hair ran over excitedly with a tray

"Here you go!" She handed me the tray, then looked at me confused "huh? You're not Hugh... Who are you?" I looked down at a purple and gold rectangle sitting on the tray

"This is the winner of the Pokemon Gym" Cheren smiled. she looked at Nate

"I thought you were going to give Hugh the spot" he smiled and pet her head

"I didn't get the highest grade, sorry squirt" she frowned and stared at me "this is Rosa" she held the tray close to her

"The one who stole all those Pokemon..?" She looked at me in horror. i frowned and walked away. i don't need this, i don't need anyone thinking negative of me

I walked out the city and was stopped by Meloetta 'why did you come here on your own?'

"Need to get out of town for awhile, I'm tired of people" she sighed

'Is it because of what Hugh's little sister asked?'

"What? No, I'm just really annoyed with all those people, go ahead and tell Nate to not look for me, i'll be out here till they have the graduation ceremony" I walked away

'Wait a minute!' She flew in front of me 'thats not for another month! You just defeated a gym leader and you're not happy with that!?' I walked pass her

"I don't care about Gym Battles, i don't care about Nate, and i don't care about you or what you say" i walked off till I reached a ranch with many Mareep walking around. this must belong to Nate and his mom. he did say he owned a herd of Mareep.

Its nice and quiet here... it'll be much better then listening to all the stupid things Hugh, the A sisters, and even Nate, have to say. i rarely get any peace and quiet, it'll be fine to stay here for a month, i wont complain

So that's it? She's just abandoning everything? Well, I don't blame her. I don't like large amount of people either and I don't like them talking like they know me. Wait to see what'll happen cx bye now!
