Rosa's Pov

Oh Arceus... I'm in a classroom full of kids... I hate being in classrooms, it takes me back to the days where I use to be bullied in school as a child...

To avoid everyone in this class and to avoid thinking about my past, I used the notebooks I was given and started drawing the victims and the Pokemon I rescued through out my years.

I had a terrific memory, I remembered every detail of every day of my life. which is not always a gift...

I start off with drawing the victim, then the year and day I stole from them. then wrote down which Pokemon I rescued and wrote down on the side note on how they were treated, where I took them, where they ended up and all of the above. I never had a chance to do this and now that I have notebooks, I can finally write them down.

Mr.Cheren was someone I recognized from Lord Ns castle. he remembered me by knowing I was the one that rescued Angel from being killed by Sage Ghetsis... I just knew in my heart that I had to do it... she seems like she cared about me and she actually gave me my Flaaffy... that actually stayed by my side and refuse to see my negative traits, just like Angel

The class went on and I still continued to write down my victims and their Pokemon. that is... until Cheren asked me about what is the best strategy in battle. it's always speed, I use speed all the time when I fight, run, and have my Pokemon help me with my missions

Hugh tried to out better me about saying power was the best way. he crossed the line when he called me a street rat... he has no idea what I've been through and he has no right to call me names! I had it with people calling me names! That's why I snapped!

Meloetta came into the classroom in a total panic. I thought it was another Pokemon being abused, but it seem to be something else that was important. she never lies when it comes to danger or alerts

I ran out the class, to the snowy battle field where they had a large green house and ran right in. there were many pokemon running away in a panic. some plants were chewed up and the rocks and statues were destroyed

The class, Cheren, and Nate came into the place and looked around in shock "what in the world..?" Cheren gasped while looking completely crushed

"How this happen?" Nate asked. I looked around and started to hear crying from a Pokemon. I ran off and saw a Deino running around while crying. it was running into things and chewing on whatever it landed on

"It hatched too early!" I heard Cheren say "Deinos can't see because of the hair covering their eyes, so that's why it's panicking..." Deino heard us and ran to attack

"Rosa! Let's run!" Nate shouted, I stayed in place while everyone ran "Rosa!" I squat down and set myself to take the attack. the dragon type head butt me, I stayed my ground and put my forehead on its head

"Sh.. sh.. its okay" I cooed while petting it's fur, it continued to cry and shake it's head, wanting to know what's going on. to make it feel better, I started singing to it...

There was a time where many of the Pokemon I rescued would go through a emotional breakdown. so I sing to them a happy song so they would feel better

Deino started to calm down as I stroke on its soft fur... "de..." it cried and sat down. I finished the song and hugged it close

"It's okay... you're safe here little one..." I smiled. it looked up and licked my hand, I giggled and kissed it's nose

"Amazing" I heard Cheren say. I looked up and saw the class looked at me amazed. Nate gave me a wide smile "you calmed a very difficult Pokemon to calm just by singing beautifully" I blushed and looked down

"I don't get it!" Hugh said "I thought she was the bad guy! She was part of Team Plasma! They steal Pokemon! She's going to take all these Pokemon if we're not careful!" Nate stood by my side

"She never stole those Pokemon Hugh" he said

"Huh?" I avoided looking at anyone

"Every one of those Pokemon, she rescued them from abusive trainers! She and this legendary Pokemon go find the Pokemon in need!" Meloetta sat on his shoulder and smiled "she's not a criminal! Saving more then 100,000 Pokemon in two years has got to be the most impressive thing I ever heard! That's exactly why I made her my partner in crime and that's why I wanted her to attend this school" I looked at him smiling at me "she's a great girl, you shouldn't think low of her because she use to be part of Team Plasma, she's my friend" tears started from my eyes... he squat down and whipped away my tears for me

"And she knows how to make Pokemon happy" I looked at Deino and hugged it again... my heart feels weird "so? Guys?" He asked his classmates. they looked at eachother and smiled at me, all except for Hugh, who turned away with his grass type and walked away

Meloetta flew over to Cheren and talked to him privately, so all I could hear was her name. he nodded and looked at me with a smile "I think that's a perfect idea.." what is? Meloetta cheered and levitated some of my empty Pokeballs and talked to Deino... it wasn't long before I realize what she was doing

Before I could say anything, Deino nodded and was sucked into the ball, fully captured without flashes even appearing

"Why..?" I frowned at Cheren "it was your Egg" he shrugged

"Honestly, I was going to test my students to see if one of them could befriend the Pokemon that hatch from this. you did so... congratulations, you've captured the dragon type Deino" he smiled brightly. Meloetta gave me Deinos Pokeball. I held it close to my heart and stood up, next to Nate.

He looked at my eyes with joy "there's that shine!" I blushed and looked away. I winced and fell into his arms in pain "what's wrong?"

'Deinos attack' Meloetta flew up to me and helped me. I sighed in relief and stood away from him, pushing him back

"Let's just get this day over with" the rest of the school lesson went on and we all were outside, practicing on how to battle properly.

Nate and Cheren taught the class while I just laid back on the ground, looking up in the grey skies with Castform and Deino, laying her head on my belly as I pet her head

I saw my light being covered by a shadow. I looked up and saw 4 girls, all with blonde hair and blue eyes, mean mugging me. I stood up and face them all

"What?" I don't like the way they're looking at me. Nate had told me everyone's name, so the ones I was looking at were Ariel, the shy one, Ally, the sassy one, Alex, the straight up one, and Amy, the smart mouth one. they all had deerlings with them in winter form

"So, Rosa, was it?" Ally asked. I nodded while Deino came close "you seem pretty close with Nate" we all looked over at him battling Hugh

"Not really" I shrugged

"Oh?" Amy said "that's strange, because the way he looked at you seemed like you two were pretty close" I sighed. I see where this was going

"He's nothing to me, leave me alone" I turned my back and begun to walk away before I felt a hand on my shoulder

"Hey, we're not done talking to you, you street rat" I turned around, face them while glaring and started punching and kicking the air in front of Alex. she squealed at every fake swing and kick I threw and froze when I stood up straight

"You have no right to call me names. if you didn't have the speed or guts to block the attacks I could've done for real, that only shows that you're all talk" I huffed and walked away with my Pokemon

"I want to challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!" I heard her yell. I stopped walking, smirked, then looked over my shoulders. I knew others were staring

"No you don't" Alex glared and had her Deerling jumping over to prepare a battle

"Yes I do! I might not be physically strong, but I'm the 3rd strongest trainer in the school! I wanna see how you battle! And win to take back Nate!" Are you kidding me? What's so special about Nate?

I faced her and crossed my arms "fine" I showed her my palm "pick a number between 1 and 5" she made a face

"Excuse m-?"

"I didn't stutter, if you want to battle me, pick a damn number" i snarled, I was very annoyed. I saw her and her sisters gulp, then discussed with each other

"2!" I nodded and took out a Pokeball

"Let's go Flaaffy!" Flaaffy came out her ball and cheered while landing on the ground excitedly

"A Flaaffy?? Wait a minute... how many Pokemon do you have!?" I rolled my eyes and looked away

"You want to battle or not! I don't got all day!!" I shouted angrily. she flinched and fixed herself for Nate, who was watching closely

"Deerling! Double kick!" Deerling ran over to Flaaffy, I just stood there

"Rosa! What are you doing!? Attack!" I heard Nate shout. I closed my eyes and crossed my arms. he seen me do this before, why can't he just shut up?

"Dodge" I said casually. Flaaffy speeded out he way in a flash, making Alex shock "agility" Flaaffy started running around deerlings while gathering speed and making it dizzy "thunderbolt" she stored up electricity and attacked deerling in a KO move. the bell rang

"Is it over?" I shrugged "come on Flaaffy, lets get it of here" she nodded and followed me out the school with Castform and Deino and walked to the outlook to look at the view

Why am I even in this trainer school? I already got my degree in trainer education with Team Plasma

Im smart, have a good-great memory, I'm strong physically, a good battler, know how to take care of my Pokemon, and know my way around without getting into trouble... Nate doesn't even know I have a education, he won't even listen when I keep trying to tell him I'm not dyslexic, so I just gave up

"Hey" I heard him approaching me "congrats on Flaaffy evolving" I looked at him confused and looked down, seeing a yellow Pokemon with a red orb on the tail instead of blue... there was no cotton to be seen

"Huh?" I sweatdropped "Flaaffy?"

"Am!" She smiled and wagged her tail happily. Nate walked to stand next to me

"You didn't notice she evolve before you went into the school to leave?" I shook my head and notice how taller she was "this was her second battle and she evolve every time. She must be very strong if she just evolved that fast" I sighed and played with my hair

"I guess she is strong..." I mumbled. he leaned closer to my face, my face flushed

"You really showed those annoying girls" he laughed. I slapped his cheek so he can get away from me. he groaned and held his cheek in pain on the floor

"They were annoying" I sighed and face him. he looked up at me confused while Meloetta helped him out with the sting "listen, I..." I blushed "am thankful that you did so much for me... but I don't need to go to school"

"You need a education if we are going to be partners in crime" I shook my head and held out my hand. Meloetta appeared and gave me my degree that I keep safe in a place no one can find it

"I have a education, Nate" I gave him my certificate "I was top of my Team Plasma class. I can memorize anything like a robot" I took out the notebooks I wrote on and gave them to him "all those are my victims and the Pokemon I rescued, and that's only 2 years ago. I still need more notebooks to fill out the entrees for last year and this year" he looked through the certificate and notebooks in shock "tell you what" I squat to his height and smiled "I'll wait for you to finish Trainer School, I'll just go back to the streets and we can be together as friends while we travel later" I gave the brightest smile I could give. his nose started bleeding, my eyes widened and I started screaming

"BLOOD!!"

Nate's Pov

"tell you what" She squat to my height and smiled the most beautiful smile I had ever seen... "I'll wait for you to finish Trainer School, I'll just go back to the streets and we can be together as friends while we travel later" her smile... her eyes... so bright... I feel something running out my nose

She stared at me in horror and ran away while screaming "BLOOD!!" Blood? I whipped my nose and saw blood land on my hand

"So... she's scared of blood, huh?" I ran send out Abra and had her teleport me to where ever Rosa ran off too. I saw her near a tree while continuing to scream

"Ahhhh!!!" She cried while pulling on her hair. I sweat dropped while watching her have a panic attack... it did say she has a panic disorder in her file

"Uh... Rosa?" I frowned. Meloetta fixed up my bloody nose "thanks" I walked over to her continuing to get a panic attack. I didn't know what to do...

I grabbed her by the waist and lift her up from her arms like a baby. she started wobbling in place "put me down! Put me down!! You can't make me go back to school! They're gonna bully me!! Mommy! Daddy!!" She cried, I frowned while she cried like she was going to die

"Why is she acting like this..? She's so... different" compared to the other personalities she uses. Meloetta levitated a Pokeball out her bag and send out Chingling. Chingling used hypnosis on her and made her fall asleep. I carried her bridal style and looked at her pretty calm face

'You brightened her heart' Meloetta smiled

"I did?" She nodded and held her heart

'She held such darkness in her heart for many years... ever since her parents died, shes been feeling alone, even if she has her Pokemon by her side...' she frowned and looked at Rosa 'her shadow had took over her for so long, her childhood memories will fill in and make her sad... so... it'll be nearly impossible to keep her heart bright with such bad memories...' I frowned and shook my head

"I saw how beautiful her eyes were... thats not fair..." Meloetta put her hand on my shoulder

'If you really want her to shine bright, be a friend to her and be patient...' i nodded and started walking back to my house and put her on her bed

She started screaming and held her head in pain "Rosa!" She sat up and shook her head "whats wrong?!"

"It hurts! It hurts!!" She cried. Her nose started bleeding

"Whats happening..?" Meloetta held her heart in terror

'Her Willpower...' huh? 'the time has come..' Chingling used hypnosis again and put her back to sleep

I gently placed her on the bed and whipped the blood from her nose away "Just how much did you suffer all your life..?" She started moving her hand around

"Nate..." my heart skipped a beat. she started crying again "why do you and Angel care so much... Im nothing but a street rat..." i moved her hair away from her forehead

"You're much more than that Rosy" i chuckled and kissed her forehead. she smiled in her sleep and found my hand

"Friend..." i looked down at her lips and leaned closer to them, but i moved away... i cant do that to her... shes been through so much already

The week went by slowly. Rosa came to class but never exactly did any work. all she pretty much did was organize things for Mr.Cheren

Hugh had been glaring at Rosa every second of everyday, still not trusting her and even demanding battles, but she refused and doesn't bother looking at anyone in the eye

"Come on! Battle me already!!" Hugh shouted while she doodled in the battle field. i sweat dropped at the scene. Deino tried to bite him "hey! Come on woman!" She shut the sketchbook i bought her yesterday and stood up

"You are very annoying" she walked away from him towards me. he started getting a big head

"Look you little street rat!" She sharpen her eye and back kicked him to the other side of the battle field. i laughed out loud and held my belly in pain

"Haha! That was awesome!" I laughed. she eyed me, making me flinch

"You're very loud" yeah... shes the same old Rosa since i first met her. i couldn't get the chance to see her eyes go bright again, but its fine... we still got time for all that

"Come on Rosa, why don't you battle him?" I asked. she huffed and looked away

"Calling me a street rat is not okay, if he wants me to battle him, he better beg on his knees" i smirked and wrapped my arms around her from behind, she froze

"Come on beautiful..." i softly put my lips on her chin line, i felt her gain goose bumps "do it for me?" She punched my chin upward and send me flying

"Knock it off!" She glared and looked at Hugh on the other side of the battle field "you!" She pointed at him "if you want me to battle you, you better get on your damn knees and beg!" He glared and made his hands to fist "you don't have to if you don't want too" she waved her hand and walked towards me.

She squat down to my height gave me the eye... shes been hating me more ever since i started getting use to her and touching her... but nothing too serious!

"Good luck on the finals" she smiled, what..? "Im sure you'll Ace it" she stood up and walked away. Mr.Cheren cleared his throat to gain her attention

"Rosa"

"What?" He sweat dropped

"I like for you to take the exam as well, today" she made a face

"Why would i do that?"

"I have my own special reasons" he held his heart and closed his eyes. then reopened them "will you?" She sighed

"Fine, its not like i got anything better to do" Hugh ran up to us

"Why don't you battle me!?" She punched his face

"Stop yelling" she looked at Mr.Cheren sweatdropping nervously "i'll do it" he smiled

"Alright class! Back inside! Exams are about to start!" Everyone walked into the classroom nervously. I took my seat next to Rosa while the exam was being passed out.

She scanned though the packet and started bubbling in answers and finished... did i mention she was a fast reader? She can solve the rubik cube in under 2 seconds, and solve a huge math equation in 10! I sometimes think she is a robot

"Im not a robot, idiot" she reads minds too!? "No, you're thinking out loud" i looked around and saw everyone holding in their laughter. i blushed embarrassed and went back to my exam

After a few hours of going through the exam, we all waited for Mr.Cheren to finish grading the papers

Rosa hummed a song while Chingling ring its little bell "remember me and I'll be there..." she sang very quietly, but it could still be heard for everyone to listen "remember me if you feel lost... somewhere..." she looked down in a frown

Everyone enjoyed when she sang, she was like a angel to send us either a happy message or sad message. this message was neutral and pretty sad, so it was easy to listen to without wanting to cry like when i heard her sing in the shower. i was outside by the way... she would kill me if she caught me trying to peak, which i wasn't...

Mr.Cheren passed back the exams face down "I'm very impressed with all of your scores, but theres only one that will take up to my challenge. please look at your scores and come talk to me in a few minutes" he nod to us and walked out the room.

I looked at my exam and received a 100 "what you get?" Hugh asked while showing me his 92

"Hey! You passed" i smirked and showed him my score

"Sweet!" He stood up "hey guys! Who made over a 92?" He asked the class, no one raised their hands "looks like i got the second highest grade. you're going to give me that gym challenge, right?" I nodded

"Of course, i have no interest in it anyways" he raised his arms up in victory "what score did you get?" I asked Rosa. she never picked up her sheet

"I don't really care" i grabbed it from her desk a saw a solid 105%! "105%!?" I looked through the whole test and saw nothing but check marks "you even did the extra credit question right! And only a Pokemon Master can know this question!"

"I don't see anything hard about it. all you had to do was name every Legendary Pokemon"

"But-but..." she outsmarted me again... shes alot smarter then i am and i cant win against her. Hugh tore his paper in pieces, clearly pissed that he wont be able to challenge Mr.Cheren

Mr.Cheren walked back in "is everyone happy with their score?" Hugh stood up

"Theres no way this streetrat can get a higher grade then 100%! Thats not possible!" Mr.Cheren chuckled

"I told you once that the bonus question will boost up your score"

"But how are we suppose to know which Legendary Pokemon are out there!?"

"You didnt need to answer that one, Hugh. now stop yelling" Hugh sat down and pulled on his hair frustratedly. he walked up to Rosa's desk "you never fail to amaze me young lady, you remind me so much of Angel" Rosa blushed

"R-Really..?" He nodded

"To be honest" he sat on his desk table "i was always jealous of her because she was this powerful, smart, and strange person that came from nowhere to our small town. she travels the world to research more about shadows and what they do to our bodies"

"I never understood that.." he nodded and crossed his arms

"There is 4 parts we need. our body, our soul, our hearts and our shadow. shadows are usually your negative traits, so everyone has one. The heart holds a special shine so the shadow will stay, thats how shadows are formed in the first place. theres some people who have bright hearts, which means they have more light than the average person... shadows don't like too much light, so they go for the light and dim it... causing the person to become cruel and cold" Rosa looked down at her hands "it is important for a bright heart to stay positive and happy, if so, the shadow has no way to getting to your heart..." he stood up and faced her "Angel talks about you because she sees the shine in your heart. she says she keeps trying to open your eyes, but people with dimmed hearts are usually hard to work with because their emotions are crashed and are stubborn... no offense" she sighed "off the subject... Rosa, since you have the highest score. will you challenge me to a Gym Battle" i stared at her staring at him

"Its not like i have anything else to do..." i smiled and pet her head

"You'll do great!" She gave me a small smile with her shiny eyes. beautiful...
