Nate's Pov

I ran out the stadium with everyone and looked around in a panic. where could had Rosa have gone!? She didn't look good at all during battle and looking at Espeon didn't make things any easier!

"Where could she gone?" Hugh asked, rubbing his head confused

"She shouldn't gone too far" Cheren said

"lady up front said she stormed out here not too long ago with her bag" I frowned. I looked down at Espeon glaring at the floor

"Stop it Espeon" Blade snarled. Espeon looked away stubbornly "I get how you feel, but that's not important right now!" He looked up at him confused "her shadow is leaving her and didn't you notice how sickly pale she was?!" Espeon stared at him for a moment before looking away, like he didn't care "I don't care what you think right now, you're helping us find her" Espeon did nothing. I sighed and looked up at the sky

"Where are you Rosa?" From the corner of my eye, I saw a Team Plasma Grunt run pass us like no ones business "what in the world..?" I asked myself "holt! In the name of the international police!" He didn't listen

"I'm going after him! Nate, come with me!" Hugh said.

"Stop" I saw Colress walk towards us "there's no reason to stick your necks into something so dangerous" Hugh shook his head

"The Pokemon I'm looking for, my little sisters Purrloin, it might be with them!" He ran pass me

"Wait for me!" Blade ran after him with Espeon

"I'm going too!" Cheren said "I got their back!" I nodded and watched him run pass me. Colress had a confused look on his face as he walked over to me

"I don't understand. that's not courage, it's recklessness! Does he think anything is possible simply because he has Pokemon with him?" I chuckled

"Actually, you'll be surprise of my friends" I looked behind my shoulder "dangerous is just part of the job for me, they're helping me and I'm helping Cheren too" I turned my back "and yes, being with his Pokemon will give him courage"

"No, no... that's not possible. all trainers and pokemon are bound to one another by Pokeballs" I saw Rosa's Woobat flying towards me and sit on my head. "then maybe it is this bond that will allow trainers to overcome the impossible if they trust their partner Pokemon" I closed my eyes and just walked forward. I don't have time to deal with him right now. I have to find Rosa

"Woobat... do you know where Rosa is?" It nodded and flew off to a deck to a boat. I can see Cheren, Blade, and Hugh looking around the cold area...

"What's going on?" I asked as Woobat rested on my head. could Rosa be here? What is this place?

"This ship..." Hugh said "why is it so cold?"

"The temperature seems... off for the summer time" Blade said

"And..." Cheren looked around "it seems like it's disguised as an old sailboat... but that can't be it, right?"

"It sure does look like it" I prepared to call Looker, but I could see a Team Plasma grunt walking over

"Why should you care?" He shook his head confused "by the time we're done with you, it won't matter anyways!" We started to be surrounded by many of these grunts. the four of us placed our backs together, staring at all of them

"You guys..." Hugh said "seriously, this is Team Plasma's base?"

"Correct answer!" Another grunt said "so what's why, as you can see there are so many of us here!" Hugh didn't look pleased

"Is this all? I think you need more backup" another grunt laughed

"You guys really lost your touch" Blade smirk

"Ooh! I'm so scared, big tough gu-" I send the grunt a death glare, he flinched and took a step back. I don't care about these bastards, I want to find Rosa...

"I don't give a crap what you guys do to us! I'm about to unleash my rage!" I send out Eelektrik angrily "you want to deal with me? You got it" they almost- no, they were terrified of my image right now. they don't want to play around with me right now

Two grunts came at me while the boys took care of the rest "w-we're not scared of you" a grunt was shaking in fear. I can tell this was the two guys that kneeled down to Rosa back in the Castelia sewers

"Oh really?" I smirked. they flinched "are you scared of Jade too?" They took a step back "Eelektrik! Discharge!" Eelektrik attacked the two and made them faint. humph!

"Na-Sam! Help me out here!" Cheren yelled. I eyed the grunts he was facing. they flinched at my stare.

"Discharge! All of them!" Eelektrik started glowing... evolving into a Elektross. I smirked and watched it attack every grunt around us. I don't have time for these guys

"That's the last of em" Hugh sighed, keeping his distance from me, knowing when I'm in this mode, I don't play "well now... why don't you tell me everything you know about Purrloin" he asked one that was awake

"Good idea" Cheren said "there are a lot of things I want to ask about as well"

"What's going on?" A unknown voice asked. we looked ahead and saw a old man in a purple rode and hat walked pass the grunts waking up and walking towards us

"Ah" Blade crossed his arms "if it isn't Zinzolin?" The man looked at him and Cheren surprised and at me and Hugh confused

"Good grief... he's the one that was shivering in the cold storage, right?" Cheren asked "you're going to have to tell me what you're planning to do with this ship!" The old man, Z, I don't care for his name, glared

"You!" He groaned "once again, we will use the legendary dragon type Pokemon and we will rule the Unova Region! Curious trainers, we shall not let you run around as you please!" I stepped up

"I don't think so!" I showed my badge "as international police, you are under arrest!" The grunts looked at each other surprised. I glared at all of them "you bastards think you're funny, huh? You mess with the wrong guy" I gave one of my creepy grins that would mentally paralyze anyone. Z started to panic

"Shadow Triad! Get them out of here!" Three men appeared in thin air around us. what the-!?

"By the way" the one in front of me, to Z, said "we are not your..."

"I know!" Z yelled "but kick them out of here now!" The guy in front of me looked annoyed

"Move" he lift me and his other twins lifted my friends to throw me out the ship

"Hey!!" I shouted. they shut the door of the ship and it just flew off "give me Rosa back!!"

"Woo!" Woobat cried, flapping its wings

"The shadow triad?" Hugh asked "what's their deal, anyway!" Blade looked down

"They are just shadows, they are not people" he muttered to himself. I was the only one that heard... did he say they were just shadows? Hugh groaned loudly

"Team Plasma! Where did you vanish to!" He ran off. Blade rubbed the back of his neck

"The shadow triad..." Cheren looked out at sea "with their superhuman powers, they can immobilize people and then disappear!"

"Because you know what they are..." Blade said

"But I'm more concern with what Zinzolin said... 'once again, we will use the legendary dragon type pokemon and we will rule the Unova region!' What could that mean?" I looked at my Xtransceiver

"It means there must be a different legendary dragon type besides Reshiram and Zekrom aren't in Unova anymore as I predict. Rosa know every legendary, she will know what Legendary Dragon type he's talking about" I searched for Rosa's Xtransceiver, but there seems to be no signal for her... dammit

"Nate" Cheren put his hands on my shoulder "calm down" I glared

"Calm down? Calm down!?" I moved his arms "how can I calm down!? I'm here worried about my partner!" I kept trying to call her. I can't call Looker now, he told me the other day that he's leaving Unova for awhile

"Nate" Blade faced me, serious "you told me earlier that Rosa is strong, believe in her" I looked down at Espeon staring

"Strong? Did you see how she look on stage..?" My fist were shaking angrily. Espeon frowned "her shadow is going to leave because Espeon thinks she abandoned him... she knows that he hates her, for some reason... I know what it's like to feel cold..." I made a fist "if I don't get her back... we're both in trouble" Cheren grabbed my attention

"There's something I want to look into, so I'm going to head to route 6 with Blade" he gave me a nod "I know you can find her, be careful out there!" They both walked away. Espeon was still staring at me before he turned his shoulder and walked away. I bit my lips and sat down on a bench

"If I don't get Rosa back... she might loose her shadow... I will too..." images of my father popped in my head. no! I can't think about that now! I stood up quickly "I'm not giving up easily!"

'Good' Meloetta appeared 'it's good to keep a open mind. don't think anything outside the problem' I gasped

"Meloetta!" She smiled and put her hands together "do you know where Rosa is!?" She closed her eyes

'It's okay, the Shadow Triad will find her eventually and drop her off where she needs to be' she pet Woobat on my head 'they are living shadows that Giratina created and brought to earth as children... they won't touch Rosa, believe me in that' I frowned and looked down 'please, go look for Cheren and Blade. I'm sure there will be something very important for you to know' I nodded and took Woobat off my head

"I'm going to look for Rosa, will you stick around until we reunit?" It nodded determined. I smiled and put it back on my head "don't fall off or get off until I tell you to. you're not my pokemon, so I can't put you in a Pokeball. stay close" it nodded. I nodded back and ran out the raining city of Driftveil with Meloetta.

Rosa's pov

"You're going to have to feed it to a beast" those words kept running through my mind ever since Giratina said it... It wants me to feed my shadow, my reason I'm alive, to a beast... I don't understand... it doesn't make sense!

I went into the Team Plasma base on a boat sneakily after seeing it from a distance and have been walking around for quite awhile...

Ever since I stepped foot on this ship, I've been having heart aches non stop. I'm in real pain right now, but I ignored it and ignored the really cold temperature surrounding me. as if I'm not cold enough as it is!

I send out my Zorua and Ditto "hey you two" I smiled. They both turned into people in Team Plasma uniforms and rushed over to me in concern

"Master... you're pale" Zorua frowned. I moved away and looked at their outfits

"Why are you wearing that?" They looked at their clothes and giggled

"To blend in" I looked at my own outfit. that's actually a good idea. if I'm going to look through this place, the last thing I need is to stand out.

"Good idea, I better go look for a extra uniform" before I moved, I looked at ditto's human form. it was transformed as a girl with brown hair and green eyes "Nevaeh?" Ditto blinked a few times

"Ditto! Di! Ditto!" It cried

"How do you know Nevaeh?" Zorua translated. I bit my lips and walked away to look for the uniform. the two followed behind

"Well.. it's complicated honestly..." I admit "I'm not ready to explain how I know her" I looked at Ditto frowning "I promise I'll tell you, just not now" it nodded and looked around.

We were surrounded by a hallway of rooms. I'm guessing these are where the grunts sleep. I wonder where they all are

I went into a room, finding it empty, and rushed over to a dresser. there was a girls uniform in here! Perfect!

I started changing when I saw someone come in. I looked behind my shoulder and saw Sarah, a ordinary grunt who had a smart mouth, but was deeply terrified of me. lets see if she remembers me

"Who are you!?" She asked. I ignored her and continued changing "show yourself to me! Now!" I put on the hat and turned, showing my smirk before putting on the mouth mask. she froze wide eyed

"J-Jade.." I walked over. she slammed her back against the wall

"Oh! It looks like you remember me"

"Well duh! Who can forget that creepy smirk of yours!?" I rolled my eyes and put my hand on the wall next to her face. she shivered

"You're dealing with the international police here Sarah, I suggest you tell me what's going on" her jaw dropped, than turned into a smirk

"A former thief of Team Plasma two years ago is now a international police? This is rich!" I glared and gave her the eye. she yelped

"Did I ask you to tell me what you think? Tell me now dammit!!" I shouted in her face. she screamed and ran off. I followed her through the ship until we made it to a room that was ice cold. my heart felt like it wanted to explode and my temperature was dropping to a dangerous level. I could hardly move... but I can't let Sarah know...

"Where are we Sarah? Why is it so damn cold in here?" I shivered with my Pokemon next to me.

"It's not that cold" she shrugged and finally stopped walking "well... here it is. the Legendary Dragon type Pokemon" I looked up and gasped when I saw a large ice-dragon type Pokemon locked in a strange cell

"Is that..." I can't move now... this is bad... this pokemon is causing this room to be cold and it made my body freeze. even Neveah was moving and her shadow was gone... "Kyurem?" The shadow triad appeared around me. I gasped

"Shadow Triad!" They stared at me

"It's been two years Jade" the one with the red eyes said

"Nice outfit" the green eyed said

"It suits you" the blue eyed said. I glared and acted like I wasn't frozen

"What are you doing with that Pokemon? Are you planning to use the dragon type to rule Unova again!?" They looked at each other and back at me

"You have a sharp eye Jade" green eyed said

"But not sharp enough!" Red eyed said

"You've seen too much" Kyurem roared. I held my heart in pain and collapsed forward, shouting out my lungs. why does this hurt so bad!? This pain is more extreme than the other times!!

"Stop!!!" I shouted. 6 hands grabbed both my arms and lifted me up on my feet. something went wet on them. I slowly opened my eyes to see that the Shadow Triads hands looked like they were leaking ink on me... their eyes looked in pain

The pain disappeared as I was thrown into some grass. Zorua and ditto were thrown next to me. I looked up and saw the Shadow Triad glaring at us, but also frowing in pity and pain. I can still tell, even behind the mouth mask

"Don't get involved Rosa" green eyed said. my eyes widened

"H-how do you know my name?" I looked at my arms and saw something black on the sleeves. I rolled them up and saw that my skin looked like it was tattooed by a splash of a random cup of black ink "what is this?" Their eyes looked at the grass in pain and anger

"Never show your face to us again, Shadow Bender..." They had Sewaddle in their hands. I gasped and looked into the bag pocket with all my Pokeballs were... Sewaddle's was missing

"Give her back!" Their bodies looked like it vibrated. their eye twitched and shook their heads

"Don't worry, we'll return her. it's not like it's her we want" They all disappeared. I stared down at the grass in shock. why is everything happening to me...? They stole Sewaddle... I glared and felt my fist shaking "damn you Team Plasma... I'm going to take my Sewaddle back...! And I'm going to free Kyurem! I promise you'll regret ever messing with me!"

"Master..." Zorua frowned. I looked at him and ditto frowning

"Want to battle Zorua?" His face gasped in joy. I smirked "let's work hard together" we held hands "come on" I looked behind my shoulder at the forest we're in "Let's go find Nate first..." I wonder if he's alone... I hope his shadow didn't leave him because I'm not there to distract him... speaking of shadow. why did the Shadow Triad call me a Shadow Bender?
