Nate's pov

I don't understand why Rosa just collapsed like that in route 6... she kept crying, making faces, holding her hand out, saying, wait... and Heaven... I really thought I was going to loose her.

Meloetta told me it wasn't serious, so I didn't take her to a hospital, but just looking at Rosa suffer in her sleep was terrifying. was she dreaming about her parents? She wasn't cold or wasn't dark... she was normal

"Wow" Rosa looked around "this place is big" I nodded as I looked at the big stadium right in front of us

"Yeah, funny how this place just opened a few hours ago!" I waited for an respond, but it never came. She was staring off into space "Rosa?" She flinched and looked at me "you okay?" She nodded

"Yeah... just thinking about something" I leaned closer to her face, smirking

"About the movie?" She sweat dropped

"No" she looked away "just ditto" ditto?

"Is there something wrong with ditto?" She shook her head and just didn't say anything else. I really don't like how she's like this. she passed out for no reason not too long ago. she worries me

"Sorry" I looked at her confused. did I think out loud again? "Yes" I facepalmed

"Yo!" Hugh waved towards us, running next to Clay and Cheren.

"Cheren! Hugh!" I gasped. its been about two months since I've seen Cheren in person!

"What am I? A bag?" Clay asked. I nervously laughed

"So sorry" I looked at Cheren, he was staring at Rosa staring off into space again. I pet her head. she stared at me

"So! Rosa" Cheren smiled, offering his hand, she shook his "warm, I see that you're feeling better. Nate gave me quite the scare when he called me awhile back"

"Sorry, I'm fine now" she held my hand happily. I blushed hard "I have Nate to help me out" I smiled and looked down

"Are you actually blushing?" Hugh asked. I covered my face with my free hand

"No..." Clay cleared his throat to gain out attention

"Well, here we are!" He looked up at the building "whaadya think? Great buildin' huh?"

"It's amazing" I smiled

"Looks great" Hugh made a confident fist

"Eh..." Rosa was in space again. Meloetta came up and poked her cheek, she didn't respond towards it

"Here's where the Pokemon World Tournament takes place!" Clay said, facing us "this place hasn't exactly attracted the world yet, so you all have to participate in the Driftveil Tournament. anything goes in this here tournament! Eight people will be participatin' and if ya win three times, yer the champion!"

"I still don't see why I'm here" Cheren held he ridge of his nose "I'm busy looking into something"

"Ya know somethin' Cheren. the one who's gotta show everyone what pokemon battlin' means is you. and yer pal ain't here, either!" Blade? "I'm countin' on the power of youth, 'cause everyone likes up-and-comin' stars!" He looked at all us "ok! Whenever her ready, get on over to- yer friend alright?" I looked at Rosa confused and saw her swaying in place with her eyes closed. not again... I caught her before she fell and dragged her over to a bench

"Hey, hey" I softly slapped her cheeks "come on, wake up, you okay?" Why did she pass out again? Cheren held her wrist and waited a moment

"Still warm, still breathing..." he looked at me "what so you think happened?" I looked at Meloetta looking calm, staring at her

"Shes fine" I sighed

"How can you be sure?" Hugh asked confused. I pointed at Meloetta

"She usually knows everything" even though she can be a pain in the butt when she never explains anything! she put her hands on her hips confidentially

"So..?" Cheren shook his head "she's fine?" I nodded "when will she wake up?" Her eyes snapped open

"Rosa!" I smiled. Cheren put his hand on her shoulder to prevent her from standing

"Easy, you collapsed not to long ago" she moved his hand and stood up

"Meloetta! 35.*****° N longitude, 139.******° E latitude! Teleport!" Meloetta saluted and disappeared

"What's with all the numbers?" Hugh made a face. Rosa stood in place for a moment before bringing her arms out like she was going to carry something. we heard shouting coming from above

We looked up and saw a body coming from the sky and land in Rosa's arms "hi there" she smiled. It was a boy. he had brown hair, with baggy bangs on the sides of his forehead, brown eyes, a black shirt, jeans, and had Woobat in his arms. my jaw dropped at the boy while Rosa stared at the Woobat

"Blade!" Cheren gasped. Rosa put him down, not taking her eyes off Woobat. Blade rubbed his head confused

"How did I get here?" I looked at Rosa confused, why did she bring him here? "I thought I was in twist mountain, I end up falling after I rescued this Woobat..." Meloetta floated around him happily "oh! A Meloetta! That must mean..." he looked around until his eyes connected with Rosa's, but hers was still connected to the Woobat... I think it's staring right back "you!" He pointed, she looked up and sweat dropped

"Pointing's rude" she spat. he smiled

"You're Rosa! I recognize you from Ns castle two years ago"

"Yeah" he smiled brightly

"Glad to meetcha! I'm guessing you saved my life than?"

"Uh..." she looked away "sure?" he pet her head and looked at me

"And you're... Nate! Right?" I nodded quickly and shook his hand excitedly

"Yeah! Yes! Er... hi! I'm a big fan!" He sweatdropped

"Oh! Thanks..." he looked at Rosa staring at Woobat hard, "are you fond of this Woobat..?" She put her hands together shyly. "I don't really know this little guy..." He handed it over to her slowly. she took it in her arms and smiled, hugging it. it flapped its wings and wrapped them around her neck

"Woobat..." woobat... a Woobat was one of the Pokemon that took care of her in her story... is this one of them? "You're safe..."

"Woo!" It cheered. it started flying around her, Meloetta joined in

"Do you know this Woobat?" Blade asked

"We were separated years ago..." she admit with a kind smile. he smiled relaxed

"May I ask, how did you know I needed help?" She bit her lip

"And at the exact location?" Cheren asked, wrapping his arm around his shoulder. Rosa scratched her cheek

"I think I'm going to participate now... bye!" She ran into the building with Woobat. Meloetta giggled and disappeared

"Wait! Rosa!" I called

"Forget her" Hugh snorted and faced Blade "hi! I'm Hugh! I will be participating in the Pokemon World Tournament. are you competing?" Blade looked up at the building

"Of course! I was suppose to sign in before Victini told me there was danger... speaking of danger..." he glared at the sky "victini! Why didn't you rescue me!?" A small red and yellow Pokemon appeared next to him

'Well sorry, but I knew someone else was going to do it' it spoke too!? 'Yes!' It answered my question. and it reads minds too... 'Nice to meet you all!'

"Nice to see you again" Cheren smiled

"It's good to see the both of yeh, now ain't we goin' in or not!?" Clay complained.

"Seems fun enough, and since Blade is battling, I think I'll go in too!" Cheren ran in with Clay and Hugh. Blade looked at me, I stood straight nervously

"Nate" I nodded

"Yes sir!" He put his hand on my shoulder and smiled

"You did good" I smiled "Angel wanted to see if Rosa will ever smile at all, I'm glad I get to tell her that she's perfectly fine thanks to you" I rubbed the back of my neck embarrassed

"It was nothing really. she was around Castelia stealing, well... rescuing mistreated Pokemon" his brows raised surprised "she cares about pokemon even while holding a dark heart" his smile widened

"Amazing..." he dug in his notepad and started writing something "I have to tell Angel about this. she's writing a book about Shadows. they are very complicated to understand"

"I know! Rosa's eyes flash from bright to dull in seconds, I just can't figure her out" he nodded and wrote that down

"Let's go inside and we can talk more after we register!" I nodded and followed him into the building. this is amazing! I'm actually talking to Blade! Unova's second Champion!

Rosa's pov

I had a vision that someone was falling from a mountain. I knew where they were because I was standing above them. I had to force myself to wake so I can rescue him

It turn out to be Blade, Angel's twin brother. he looked a lot like her, except for the brown eyes and he's a boy.

He held something in his arms that I absolutely could not take my eyes off of... my little Woobat! I knew it was her because she had a unique birthmark on her fur in the shape of a star that no other Woobat had! The other Woobat that took care of me had different shapes. a sparkle and a dot.

I ran to the registration table to compete in the PWT after I ran away from the boys. it's not like I purposely used my power, it just keeps happening on its own!

But it's good that it happened... I don't know what would happen to Angel if something terrible happened to Blade... I know it'll effect everyone around me. Bianca, Cheren, the gym leaders, Nate... Blade seems like a nice guy

"What Pokemon will you be competing with?" The lady registering me asked. I thought for a moment

"Ampharos" I put her Pokeball on the table "Castform and Chimecho" she nodded and put the Pokeballs into a machine. Woobat was trying to grab my attention

"What is it cutie?" I giggled. she cheered and pressed her heart stamp nose on my cheek. I can feel that she marked me "hey!" She giggled.

"Picture please" the woman took out a camera. I looked at her and smiled. after the flash went out, she told me that I needed to give up my bag. I frowned at Woobat

"Sorry Woobat, please wait for me, okay?" She was disappointed at first, but nodded and waved goodbye at me. Meloetta reached me after I passed the passage gate

'Happy that you got to see Woobat again?' I nodded happily

"Yes! If all my friends are out there, I want to find them all! I want them to be with me again!" She smiled sadly and looked down "Meloetta?" She looked up and picked up her smile

'I'm sure you'll see all of them again...' I smiled and walked into a room where other competitors will be competing. there's a familiar man with the blonde hair and blue strap standing on the wall while writing in his clip board. I walked to the girls room so I can avoid him and his weirdness

'Here!' Meloetta reappeared with something folded in her arms 'Sewaddle and Smeargle made this for you!' I took it from her hands and started changing into a white summer laced dress with a fated rainbow on the edges of the skirt. the shoulders were bare and the sleeves were baggy. Meloetta wrapped a brown belt around my sides as I put on some white flats

"This is cute" I spun around happily. I love how creative my Pokemon are.

'Competitors, please pay attention to the screen' the announcer said. I walked out the girls room and found a screen on the wall. Nate, Cheren, and Hugh were standing in front of it.

Cheren will be battling with Blade
Nate will be battling with Hugh
I will be battling against someone I didn't know that was standing not too far from me
And the scientist was battling someone I didn't know

First battle was with Cheren and Blade

"Awesome! I can't wait to see Cheren and Blade battle!" Nate and Hugh cheered together. I chuckled, which went notice by the boys. Nate turned a bright red when he saw me

"Ro-Rapunzel!" I walked over while he offered his hand that I shyly held "you look great" I blushed "as always" he winked

"Shut up" I pushed his arm softly, causing us to chuckle together

"You look lovely Rosa" Cheren smiled

"Eh" Hugh shrugged. I glared at him. he's still acting the same? Why can't he just get over it? I'm not part of Team Plasma anymore!

"Why did you call her Rapunzel?" Blade asked

"It's her stage name, also her code name, since she's a international police assistant of mine"

"Wow, that's awesome!" Someone came into the room and request for Cheren and Blade "that's us! Wish us luck!" Him and Cheren were out. I sat down next to Nate. he placed me on his lap

"N-" he covered my lip with his finger "Sam..." he nodded "what are you doing!?" He hugged my waist

"Is it so bad to hold you like this?" His face looked relaxed. I blushed and looked away

"It's not appropriate... let go"

"Do you want me to?" I bit my lip. I liked having him near me... it makes me feel warm and safe

"Yeah.."

"Rapunzel" he eyed me. I looked down

"Fine, just till Blade and Cheren come back. you might be up next" he nodded happily and placed his chin on my shoulder. he's such a child...

Blade and Cheren were standing in front of each other in the battle field near a Samurott and a Serperior. wow, Blade had a Samurott too? His looks stronger and bigger than Nate's

The battle between them was intense. I don't think I had to put in that much effort when I was battling Cheren as a gym leader. he wasn't battling like one today, he was battling like a regular trainer against his rival

My eyes would not leave the screen, watching this battle was exciting. my mind went black... My power was taking control again... a image appeared in front of me as a flashback

It was me as a child... I was in the Pinewheel Forest the week after my parents left this world... I was still crying against the tree with the forest Pokemon that saved me staring

'Mommy... daddy...' little me cried. I was so deviated that I didn't want to look at anyone... I didn't eat, nor did I stop crying

'Miss... please don't cry...' Zorua walked up me little me, ears flattened sadly. little me sniffled and looked at him, surprised to see that he transformed into a little boy 'we just want to help you... you seem really sad and... it makes us sad...' little me reached over to hold his cheek

'Weren't you... just a Pokemon?' He smiled and sat next to her. Darmanitan and eevee, along with the three Woobat flying behind, came over with a large leaf of berries

'Eevee! Ev!' Eevee frowned

'He said please eat... you haven't ate in so long and just look at Smeargle...' little me looked at Smeargle frowning

'Eevee!'

'He said that Smeargle will not eat if you wont... do you want to loose him too..?' Little me frowned and looked at the berries

'No...' Eevee used its teeth to bring the leaf of berries near me. than crawled into my lap

'Please eat...' Zorua translated. Eevee took a berry with his tail and gave it to little me. little me put her teeth into the berry, chewed, shallowed, and started crying

'I can't... I want my mommy and daddy..!' She cried into her hands. Eevee stood on his back legs and licked her cheek. she looked at him confused and than everyone smiling at her. that's when I realized that these Pokemon really cared about me... I thought I was alone, but turns out, even after my human family left me, I still had a Pokemon family... and having them with me made me happy...

The image changed into me being a few years younger than I was right now. this was the day when me and my family were separated... this wasn't going to be my point of view, this was... Espeons...

Eevee had evolved into a espeon a year before. I watched him searching around the forest exhausted 'where are they..?' He whined. he walked into the edge of some trees into the public road and saw me talking to a man that offered me the job of being a member. Espeon gasped when he saw me walking away with him

'Wait...' he took a step forward confused 'where is she going..?' He watched me walk out the forest, looking back once, and left 'no...' he cried 'you promised...' tears fell out his eyes 'you promised you wouldn't leave us!' I put my fingers on my lips surprised 'you promised you'd take us with you if you ever decided to leave here! Why!' He shook his head glaring 'why would you abandon us!' His face soften to a frown 'abandon me...' he fell on the floor, crying a river 'I thought we were family...' he buried his face on some leaves underneath him 'I hate you...' no... no! Espeon! I never abandoned you! Don't hate me! Oh Arceus... no...

"Don't hate me!" I woke up and breath heavily while looking around at people staring at me confused. I was still in the PWT...

"You alright?" Nate frowned. I looked to the side and saw Meloetta, Blade and Cheren looking at me over Nate's concerned face. I held my warm cheeks, feeling the leaking of tears running out my eyes

"He hates me..." I can't believe this..?

"Who does?" Cheren frowned

"I didn't abandoned him..."

"Hey..." Nate held my cheeks so I can look into those brown eyes... "do we need to leave?" I looked at my surroundings, than at the screen. it said said that Blade had won, and now it's time for Hugh and Nate to go up.

"No..." I shook my head. he wanted to come here, I can't let him leave for me and my powers doing "you can go, I'm fine. I just had a nightmare"

"You sure?" I nodded and stood up off his lap, helped him up and pushed him to Hugh

"Yes! Now hurry!" He looked at Hugh and sighed back at me

"Alright, I'll be back" they left the room. I sat down and cupped my face. how could I just leave like that... I thought it was them that abandoned me back than... that's why my heart went dark. Lanturn had explained that they didn't abandoned me... They were taken by Team Plamsa to Lord N, I was offered a job, and the only one that remained was poor little Espeon... if I had known... I would've turned around and brought him with me

'It's not your fault Rosa...' Meloetta frowned. I kept my face in my hands. I know it's not my fault... but if I had known... I felt two hands sitting on my shoulder. Blade and Cheren both smiled at me

"It's ok Rosa" Cheren said "I'm sure what ever you dreamed about, wont reflect you out here" I looked down and shook my head. it will reflect me... Those were Espeons memories and that's how he remembered me... as someone who betrayed him

"Careful..." Blade said "with a bright heart like yours, if you keep thinking about that one thing that's bothering you, you'll grow cold... if you go around and continue to be sad about it, you'll grow dark" he put his hand on my knee "I know Nate cares about you, don't make him worry like just now..." I looked down and nodded

"You're right..." the power wasn't suppose to show me anything. I long to ignore this power and it just keeps happening. it showed me things that I'm not suppose to know... I have to pretend I didn't see anything... even though knowing that Espeon hates me really hurts.

My hands were shivering. I held them together so I can keep the two from noticing. but Cheren was holding my shoulder and Blade held my knee. they can feel it

"Rosa..." Cheren frowned. I ignored him and looked at the screen at Nate battling with Kadabra... when did she evolve? Hugh was battling with a Unfezant and looked frustrated. it looks like Nate was winning

"Rosa" Blade was trying to get my attention. I ignored him. all I can think about is Espeon. why did his memory show up? Was he near? Let me look into his point of view... no! I can't! Even though I want to make up with him... i.. I don't know... what's wrong with me?

"That was really fun!" Nate cheered while he and Hugh walked back in

"It was! Even though you beat me, the way you battled was refreshing!" Hugh laughed. Nate looked at me and rushed over excitedly

"Did you see me? How was I?" Should I lie? No, he knows when others lie.

"Sorry... I was distracted" I admit. he looked at me confused and reached for my cheek. I stood up before he could feel my cold skin "am I next?" The screen was flashing my picture and the trainer will be battling "well! Wish me good luck!" I ran out with my opponent before I could make Nate worried. I continue to make him feel that way. I need to fix that

'Be careful...' that voice again... Now that I think about it... it was the same voice that told me to watch out for the sky back in Nimbasa... was it talking about Blade?

"Here are your Pokemon" a man handed me my Pokemon. I nodded and waited for my name to be called

"Known for her singing voice and fantastic acting Rapunzel!" Here we go...
