Rosa's Pov

Agh... what happened? The last thing I remembered was jumping into the ocean to catch Lanturn... "Lanturn!" I jumped from bed and looked around my surrounds confused. where am I?

"Good morning Rosa" a cheery girl voice said. my eyes gazed upon two familiar Goddesses smiling down at me. my face grew pink at their beautiful faces

"Anthea..? Concordia..?" They smiled brightly "why are you here..?" I looked around "where is here exactly?"

"It's our little home" Anthea looked around "where we take care of the Pokemon that we had separated from their trainers" I looked at her surprised

"Are you hungry? Your Pokemon and Sam's are being fed right now" Concordia said

"Nate?" I stood up, noticing that I was wearing a black night gown

"I hope you don't mind that we changed your clothes while you were sleeping, we didn't want you to sleep while wearing wet clothes" Anthea said

"We had to change Sam's outfit as well because he fell asleep while checking if you were okay after he fished you and your Lanturn from the sea" I looked down. he saved my life... I smiled to myself

"Wow..." Anthea looked at my face in awe "I never seen you smile" I covered my face and sat back on the bed I was sleeping on

"Cut it out..." they were always trying to make me smile and show at least a little emotion while I was still working for Team Plasma, they never succeeded

"Don't hide it!" Concordia giggled "it's lovely" I heard Nate yawning on a bed on the other side of the room, wearing a white shirt and white gym shorts

"Morning" he looked refreshed. his head turned towards me, making his eyes open widely "Rosa!" He rushed over and sat next to me, making the bed making me bounce once or twice "how you feeling?" I held his hand and made it hold my cheek, his cheeks reddened surprised

"I'm fine... thank you" he smiled and stroked his thumb against my skin. the girls were staring at us closely. I blushed and looked away

"How cute!" They squealed happily "i long to see little Rosa shine!" Anthea said. I looked down, making my hair cover my face. the ends of my hair were badly damaged. how long has it been since I took care of it..? Looks like a hair cut is a must

"How did you both sleep?" Concordia asked

"Fine" I admit

"Good! Thanks!" Nate smiled "where are our Pokemon?"

"They're eating, your breakfast should be here soon" the curtain that was blocking another view opened, letting in a little boy with red eyes and shaggy black hair with red ends, holding a tray. something about him...

He put the tray on the dresser with two plates of food, than stood in front of me, staring. I stared right back, wondering why he seemed familiar to me

"Thank you Zorua" Anthea smiled. I stood up in surprised. did she say... Zorua? The little boy stared up at me for a moment longer before hugging me, placing his head on my ribs...

"Rosy..." tears started pouring out my eyes, my arms slowly wrapped around his shoulders. he looked up at me with a teary smile "I miss you..." my Zorua... I recognize that smile anywhere... he's grown so much... the last time I seen him, he was 2 feet tall in human form... now look at him... he's 4 even...

"My Zorua..." I cried and sobbed into his shoulders, hugging him tightly "where have you been..? Why did you leave me..?"

"We never left you..." that's right... Lanturn explained this already... "we searched for you during our separation but we were taken back to N... We had took care of N a few years before we took care of you... after he released us after he was crowned, we searched for you, but... you were never there" he looked down "we even searched for Espeon, but he wasn't around either" i furrowed my brows and held his shoulder while sitting

"Espeon? What happened to him?"

"I don't know..." I sighed and brought him back to a hug. he turned himself back to a Pokemon so I could hug him fully

"It's okay... I got you and Lanturn back... that's good enough for me" he smiled and cuddled with my cheek happily. he turned into Nate sitting on my lap and kissed my cheek. my face burned up and I lost balance, I fell backwards completely stunned. I know it wasn't really Nate, but seeing his image actually kiss me... oh Arceus...

I heard Nate laughing. he used his elbow on the bed so he can catch me, I didn't move "what's wrong there Rosa? That wasn't so bad!" I moved his face from coming closer to mine

"Back off" I blushed and stood up after Zorua jumped off my lap and onto Nate's head "don't do that Zorua" he sneakered and ran out the curtains happily. he often changes into a boy so I wouldn't be lonely in the Pinewheel Forest where he and the rest were taking care of me. it was one thing to be with Pokemon, but it's nice to be around actual humans, or in this case, Zorua in a illusion

"Would you two like some breakfast?" Anthea asked. I looked around, remembering something

"Where's Sewaddle?" I asked Nate. he reached down the bed and picked up my little bug type. I brought her into my arms happily "I'm so glad you're safe"

"Sew..." she cried

"I had arrested the grunts who took her from you. I even gave Cam a piece of my mind" Cam?

"Isn't Cam one of your friends?" He chuckled coldly and helped me up

"He was never my friend, I knew he was lying about being out friend. he was actually part of Team plasma" my eyes widened "don't worry, I took care of him without hesitation" when he says without hesitation, I can usually see his seriousness when he's on the job...

We looked back at the girls "I can eat" Nate nodded too. they smiled and led us out the curtains, into a large area where many of my ex-co-workers were taking care of some Pokemon, including all of mine and Nate's "what is this??" I looked around excitedly "you really do take care of the you separated from their trainers!" I put my hands together "I recognize all of them!" There was at least 10 Pokemon that weren't mine and Nate's.

"Did you think we were lying when the Goddesses said we take care of them?" A familiar old man asked

"Sage Rood!" I gasped. I haven't seen him since I ran out Lord Ns castle

"Hello Jade" he smiled. I rubbed my neck, embarrassed of the name. funny how I don't even use it anymore "or should I say Rosa, or Rapunzel?"

"Heh... you may call me Rosa" I was tempting to bow in respect, but I usually forget that I'm not part of Team Plasma anymore

"I see you're doing well, Nate here had told me about your activity in Castelia" I rubbed my neck again and watched Nate being taken to a table with some other of my ex-co-workers were eating

"About that..." I looked down

"No need" he raised his hands "we understand you separated the Pokemon because they were being mistreated, all of us here think of you as a hero, next to Nate who actually rescued you" I blushed with a smile

"All of this that you're doing is amazing" I gazed at the Pokemon. he put his hand on my back

"Come and eat now dear" I nodded and went over to sit next to Nate. All of my ex-co-workers gave a smile to me, I looked down and remembered how terrible I was to them. for always yelling at them

"Glad you can join us" Nate smiled while he ate a waffle piece. a girl named Amanda handed me a plate of the same thing

"Nice to see you again" she smiled, I only returned the smile and looked at everyone just having a nice time. is this how it was when everyone ate in Lord Ns castle together? I had always avoided being near everyone and just work on my own, even if no one told me too

"Here" Nate caught my attention and gave me a wallet "I had forgot to give that to you when we were in Virbank" I looked inside and saw a badge over a ID card with my picture on it. my name as Rapunzel and titled World international Assistant Police. I looked at him funny

"We haven't been in Virbank in weeks and you barely gave this to me?" I slapped his head with it "idiot" he and the rest of the crew laughed. I blushed and looked down.

"Sorry Rosa" he pet my head. I silently ate while everyone talked. Zorua continued to try to steal Nate's food, but it never happened.

"So Jade- er... Rosa" a guy named Jack, called "what have you been doing after Team Plasma slit? Besides what you did in Castelia" I put my fork down on my empty plate and stood

"I did all I could to survive" I picked up my bag and returned my Pokemon. where's Meloetta? "If you excuse me, I'm going for a walk" I walked out with Zorua following me

Don't get me wrong, it's great to see everyone again, but it just feels... weird. my heart feels strange inside, and when I saw Zorua, he made me feel that way even more...

'That's because you were relieved' Meloetta came from thin air with a smile 'you know you're still wearing your Pjs, right?' I shrugged

"Where you been?"

'I cannot say..' she closed her eyes. I stared at her while I walked

"Who are you?" Zorua asked. Meloetta looked down curiously at him

'Oh! A friend of yours!' I nodded 'I'm Meloetta!'

"Yeah, Zorua was one of the Pokemon that took care of me back than" Zorua turned into a teen boy and smiled. he wore a hoodie and saggy pants, just so he can wave to her

'You feel relieved that you found him' she said. I shrugged 'come on, you felt it when you found Lanturn, and you felt it when you seen your ex-co-workers again! And...' she flouted around Zorua 'felt it when you saw him'

"Was that what it was?" Relief? I often do feel that in me, but i didn't honestly think it would be relief

'Yes, you were always stressed out in the city, you've grown use to the pressure and honestly never let it go... until Nate gave you comfort' I blushed 'and you never realized what you were feeling'

"And that was relief?" I looked at her strangely. she nodded happily. huh, I would have never known. how odd that I'm just now starting to realize I was holding that relief

'Zorua helped it grow. I'm sure if you found the rest of your Pokemon friends, it might help your dark heart' I snorted and looked down

"Whatever" I looked into Sewaddle's and Lanturns Pokeball. I'm so glad they're safe... "where were you when I needed you?" I faced her "I was running after Lanturn and you never even tempt to help me? I could have died if Nate never saved me" she held her heart and closed her eyes

'Everything I do is for a reason' I made a face 'time goes in a straight line, there are no curves or loops'

"What's that suppose to mean?" She opened her eyes and smiled

'You'll understand soon' she grabbed my hand 'come now, we must change you out that outfit!' She dangled me from the air, I panicked

"Too high!"

'We're not even a inch off the ground!' She laughed

"Well, what do you expect?! You never carried me like this!" I felt Zorua place me on his shoulder sitting down "Zorua!"

"Would you prefer to travel like this, Master?!" Master?

'Let's get her dressed, than we can take her to challenge the Pokemon Gym!' She told him

"Okay!" He cheered

"No! Not another gym!" Why does she keep wanting me to go on these gyms!? I rather go to a physical gym than a Pokemon one!

'Too bad!' Zorua ran me towards the Pokemon center. I sighed to myself. what can I do?

Nate's pov

I watched Rosa leave the building with Zorua running after her with his tail wagging like crazy "she never changed" Jack sighed with a smile

"Pardon?" I asked. these guys knew Rosa long before I did, I want t know more about her

"I honestly thought she changed" a girl named Amanda said "but I guess that's Jade for you" she giggled

"You guys seem to know a lot of her, may I ask?"

"Sure" Anthea and Concordia said, sitting next to me, where Rosa sat "she was a strong leader"

"She always knew what was going on"

"She was harsh"

"She worked hard"

"She used bad language"

"She's strong"

"She's smart"

"She often beats the Team Members when they try to outsmart her or talk back" Anthea giggled. I looked at the Former TP surprised. they made embarrassed smiling faces

"Yeah" a guy named Adrian chuckled "I one time tried to talk back to her, saying she wasn't the boss of me... I ended up dangling from the top of the castle the whole day" I sweat dropped terrified "I can still remember what she told me 'you got something else to say?! I'm doing my job like everyone else, if you don't want to rescue all Pokemon, I don't mind dropping you from here!'" Oh Arceus... "I was terrified! But" he sighed with a smile "she was a good leader"

"She kept us on track" a girl said

"She trained us" a guy said

"But no one could catch up to her..." Anthea smiled "she was the one N recognized most, though" she giggled

"She often runs away from him because she doesn't see herself worthy to stand in front of the King" Concordia said.

"About his N guy" I started "who was he really? Besides Former King of Team Plasma"

"Well..." Anthea closed her eyes "Team Plasma is an Organization created by a man Ghetisis to help him take over the Unova Region" I looked in my Xtransceiver for his information. turns out that he disappeared two years ago and was never heard of again. so who's now controlling Team Plasma? "The one he groomed to help him further his evilness was N. N was a strange boy who was called the Child of Pokemon"

"He was an Orphan" Concordia said. "I heard that right after he was born, he upsets people with behavior that suggested he could talk to Pokemon. when he was living in the Pinwheel forest with Darmanitan, Zorua, and more, Ghetsis took him in."

"We are also orphans Ghetsis took in. our task was to take care of N"

"I wonder if he understands now... trainers battle with Pokemon not to hurt them, but so trainers and Pokemon can understand one another better!"

"It's the simplest say for them to do this"

"The more serious the battle, the more the true nature of Pokemon and people becomes apparent!" Anthea looked down

"I don't understand Ns pure and innocent feelings. but I will be very happy if he figured out what he wants to do on his own during his travels with the legendary Pokemon!"

"Oh! Isnt Miss White still looking for him?"

"Indeed! Or so I hear, I come to discover that she's searching for him while doing some research"

"I wonder on what"

"Who knows, but I do hope those two find each other soon, I heard he kissed her before he left us all" all the girls squeal together happily

"I never imagined N doing something like that! Was that their first kiss?" They gasped

"How amazing would that be??" I sweat dropped and looked down to see that Rosa forgot her badge

"Um..." I frowned and looked down, thinking of a random thought "if Rosa always ran away from N. did that mean she liked him too?" Anthea and Concordia looked at eachother. The table laughed "what?"

"She never showed emotion towards anyone" Jack laughed

"She never showed any signs of caring towards anyone besides Pokemon" that's right. her dark heart causes her to not express emotions. though she could express them to Pokemon

"Well..." a girl named Lilly said "she did once" she took out a Pokemon from her Pokeball. a Lilligant with its flower on its head covering it's right eye "Lilligant was a abused Pokemon from a trainer... Rosa beat the crap out the owner while I tried to nurse Lilligants eye..." Lilligant cupped her hands together shyly "I was in a panic and didn't know what to do. Lilligant was panicking as well and was attacking me" Lilly smiled and held her heart "Rosa came and just... started singing..." everyone smiled and looked down "her voice was like silk... she calmed Lilligant and got her nurse back to health, though Lilligant is now blind in her right eye. if it wasn't for Rosa, Lilligant would've died" I smiled at the story

"It's always nice to hear Rosa sing" Jack smiled "we often have meetings, she doesn't always do this, but when she works hard, she sings in her sleep"

"Everyone doesn't leave the meeting room after it's over because we know she sings after it gets quiet... strange huh?" Amanda giggled. I smiled and stood up

"Thank you for having me here everyone" I returned my Pokemon "I should be looking for Rosa now. can I change?" I asked the Goddesses, or what Rosa call them. they nodded and walked away to my bed to hand over my things

I changed back to my original things and walked towards the door "thanks again everyone!" I waved "here" I have Rood my Xtransceiver number "if there's anything you need, don't hesitate to call the World international Police!" I pointed myself confidently. Rood nodded

"Thank you for coming" I nodded and ran out, than froze when I felt someone or something staring at me

"Who's there!!?" I shouted. everyone just looked at me funny. I sighed and ignored it "lets see... where did Rosa run off to?"

'In the Pokemon Gym!' Meloetta came out of nowhere and started spinning around happily. I glared

"Meloetta!" She stopped and stared "where have you been!?" She put her hands together politely "why weren't you with Rosa when she was injured!?" she turned her back "Meloetta!" She turned and gave me a serious look, I flinched at the unique expression

'Everything I do is for a reason' she floated away, I quickly followed 'I knew you would save Rosa. if I knew you wouldn't, I would've have don't it myself'

"You knew?" She nodded "but why didn't you just prevent it?"

'Because she would had never met Zorua this way' I froze in surprise. that was her plan?

"You could've just led her to Zorua you know?" She looked at me and smiled

'It doesn't work that way Nate...' she turned her back again 'her being injured... was important' she teleported me into a underground area, showing me Rosa battling a cowboy with her Deino 'and you wouldn't have met him when coming back to Performers square' him?
