Nate's Pov

"Haha! Really?" I laughed while I had my arms around two girl's shoulder in a party that one of my classmates was throwing. a simple birthday can really calm my nerves

"It's true" one of the girls giggled

"He was covered in pie!" The other giggled. I laughed and looked up at my childhood friend, Hugh, walking up to me angrily with his pissed off Servine. like Pokemon like trainer, I guess

"Nate, Dammit! We are a month away from graduating trainers school and this is how you study for the exam coming up in a few days!?" Yeah, he's always such a grumpy pants ever since Team Plasma stole his sister's Pokemon a couple of years ago, but to be fair, he's always like this

"Calm down Hugh. it's Saturday, I worked all day, I'm tired" as international police, things get crazy and tiring around here, even if it was a small town I lived in "let me rest" he glared "Dewott had it today too. right Dewott?" I asked my partner Pokemon. He nodded and continued washing his scallops

"I don't care if you're the damn mayor! Your mom called for you and I don't wanna hear my sister constantly nagging me that she wants to go to the party you're in now! Get your butt up and move!" I stared at him for a moment before getting up

"Lost sleep?" I smirked. he slapped my head and glared

"Move dammit!" I laughed and pass him

"Fine, I need sleep anyways" I looked at the girls "bye girls" I winked

"Bye Nate!" They giggled together, waving their fingers flirtily. I chuckled and looked at Dewott finishing cleaning. I returned him and looked at Hugh

"You coming or not?" He groaned and walked pass me. I followed behind and started playing with my Pokedex a girl named Bianca gave me the other day. she is Professor Junipers assistant and she's also the one that gave me Dewott when it was a Oshawott. once I graduate trainers school, I can finally go out to the world and be a world international police like my boss, Looker.

"You know Nate. you're going to have to take things seriously. you just can't slack off, you have to pay attention to school work. don't you want to be world international police instead of just international police of our small town?" Hugh asked. I sighed and looked at the night sky

"Of course I do..."

"Then you need to step up your game" he patted my back. I nodded and wrapped my arm around his head to mess up his wild blue hair

"Who are you? My father?!" I laughed while he tried to escape my grip. He got out my grip and caused me to laugh out loud "I do take things seriously, only when I need to. now are you just going to stand there or do you need me to tutor you" he glared

"Tutor me please..." I nodded and had him follow me home. he constantly says anything to me just to tutor him... I bet the thing about my mom and his sister were lies

I walked through a door and saw Looker talking to mom "Looker!" What a surprise! He looked up at me and walked over

"Hello Nate" he smiled

"What are you doing here?" I looked at Hugh looking away. he knew when Looker is in town, I usually am out all night for a mission or assignment

"Sorry to bother you on your Saturday off, but I need your help" I nodded and looked at Hugh

"Sorry, i can't tutor you tonight. I'll help you out tomorrow, okay?" I smiled. he sighed

"Fine, I guess I'm still lucky enough to have my best friend as the smartest kid in class. don't let me down" he pointed with a smile. I shot the thumbs up

"Got it" he glanced at Looker and walked out. I looked up at Looker "so what do you need help on?"

"I am sure you are aware of a criminal organization called Team Plasma" I made a face

"Team Plasma? They were over like... two years ago because the hero help stop Pokemon liberation" he nodded

"Yes well, there's something we never told you out of the others of the world international police. since you are only a minor one, we couldn't tell you what's been happening" I listened "but this is something the others couldn't solve, and you're the smartest kid I know" I nodded "I need you to come to Castelia City with me"

"What's up over there?"

"For the pass two years, even after Team Plasma had broken up. there yet remains one member that continues stealing pokemon from people" I glared

"What?" I snarled. they're doing this again? No, this one person is still doing this? I won't forgive them

"From our files" he looked in his coat and took out a thick yellow file book "this particular grunt happens to be a girl" he gave me the report file of every kidnap she committed. there was no picture of her. There were numerous of Pokemon in here...

"Every one of our police gained the information of always hearing a bell when she comes. there's always a rose painted on the wall, and this girl takes nothing but the people's pokemon and their bag. nothing else"

"Anything she takes is a crime" I said while shutting the files "so... she stole 116,546 Pokemon the past 2 years, huh? And she can take about 300 Pokemon in one night if she wants to?" He nodded

"It's not everyday, but these people are tourist. it's hard for them to enjoy their vacation while knowing this robber is after their Pokemon"

"Every tourists gets robbed?" I asked

"No, not all of them" I gave him back the file

"Got it boss, I'll get to the bottom of this. trainer school won't be over for another month. so in any way possible, I will go to Castelia City as often as I can" he nodded and smiled

"That's what I like to hear" mom walked up to me and smiled

"Here sweetie, I got you something" she handed me a Pokeball

"What's this?" I smiled

"I know you're a good boy and never cause me trouble. I know you work hard for your age, so I got you a Pokemon that'll make it easier for transportation" I looked at the Pokeball and released whatever was inside

"A..." A Abra was send out floating in mid air and looked up at me shyly. I smiled and rested my hands on my knees to take a closer look

"Wow... a Abra!" It looked at me and gave me a small shy smile, turning a slight pink around the cheeks

"She was out on our the ranch, hurt for some reason. so I nursed her back to health and she chose to stay by my side. I asked if she can go with you, she said yes" mom smiled. I smiled and hugged her tightly

"Oh! Thanks mom!" I chuckled and looked down at Abra. "You're shy now, but once we become familiar friends, you'll grow out that shy stage and will express yourself like i do!" I grinned. she nodded and looked down. I looked up at Looker "sir" he nodded

"We shall leave for Castelia City now" I put my hands to fist and looked at Abra

"Think you can teleport us to the big city?" She nodded and lift her arms, started teleported us in the middle of the busy high way "whoa!" Looker and I ran for our lives and ran into the side walk. I wasn't paying attention to where I was running and accidentally ran someone in the fountain

I flinched and rushed over to this person. it was a girl in shorts and a tank. her light brown hair was in braids on her head and she was soaking wet in this harsh winter

"I-I'm..." I stuttered. I didn't mean to run over someone! Especially- the girl looked up and showed me her blue eyes... I just help but notice that they were dull... "whoa..." she was really really pretty "may I help?" I offered my hand. she slapped it away harshly and stood up

"Watch where you're going next time you jerk!" She hissed and stood up "its the middle of winter and your idea in pranks was to throw me into the water!?" I flinched and stepped back. a pretty girl can be this scary?

"I-it was an accident" I frowned. she stepped out the fountain and squeezed on her clothes "you're the one that's wearing shorts and a tank" she looked at me and gave me a death glare, I flinched again

"What are you? Some kind of critic!?"

"Ma?" I looked down and saw a Mareep looking up at us curiously

"Oh wow! A Mareep!" I smiled and squat down to look at it, it looked at me confused and smiled brightly. remember when I said like pokemon like trainer..? this wasn't it "its so healthy! You must take very good care of it" I smiled at the girl. she eyed me with her cold to the touch stare. I nervously stood up and fixed myself

"I'm Nate! Sorry I ran you into the fountain. my Abra teleported me and my friend in the streets accidentally and had to run for our lives" I laughed while rubbing the back of my neck. she only stared "er..." this was awkward. I never spoke to a girl like this... "what's your name?"

She walked away with Mareep without another word. I sweat dropped and felt completely... rejected. me, I never been rejected my whole life! And I only asked for her name!

Looker snorted and looked away "how sad" I sighed and straightened myself

"I didn't mean to run her into the fountain" I frowned. he pat my shoulder

"Let her be, its the city, not her" I nodded and followed him into a hotel called Shallow Bay and walked into a apartment room. seeing some police man searching for evidence and taking pictures of the wall that had a red rose painted on it

A man in a motorcycle jacket was sitting on the bed, running his fingers in his hair frustratedly "sir" Looker called while taking out his notepad. I used my Xtransceiver so I can record the audio "World International Police here. name... I shall inform my code name, my name is Looker"

"I'm also part of the International Police of Aspertia City. code name is Sam. may you tell us what happened here" I know Sam in a odd name for a Code name, but I had thought of this very carefully. my Dewott's next evolution will be a Samurott, and the hero of Unova had a twin brother name Blade. so I feel pretty sharp when I think as myself as a samurai with a blade sword

"It's about time you came!" The man glared while standing "these guys wouldn't even say anything!" I nodded

"I'm sorry sir, please tell us what happened" I said as a professional. when I'm Nate, I'm a fun, loving, charming, wild, and loud, but as Sam, I'm professional and serious

"This girl came into my apartment and stole my bag and my Pokemon! Every last one of them!" I nodded as Looker wrote this down and I recorded

"What kind of bag was it?" I asked

"What bag? Are you Ser-"

"Please sir, all questions must be answered in order for us to help" he sighed and nodded

"It was a tan plaid messenger bag with a green strap" I nodded

"Where was it?" He pointed at his dresser. I walked over and talked to the man using samples for finger prints "found any?"

"No sir, this place has no trace of evidence what so ever" I sighed and looked at the man that was robbed

"What's your name?"

"Larry"

"Larry, tell me the story" he nodded and sat down

"I came home late from... the bar. and I really needed some sleep. I lost a lot of bets and I just had it rough"

"Were you drinking?"

"No" I narrowed my eyes at his tone. he tried to lie, but I know when someone lies to me

"I see... continue"

"I walked into my room and saw a Team Plasma grunt digging through my bag!"

"Did you see a face?" He shrugged

"She looked tan... had some blonde hair was sticking out the hood. bangs actually" he pulled on his hair

"What was she wearing?"

"A blue Team Plasma suit... she had a Pokemon on her belt... but before I could notice, she ordered the Pokemon to use hypnosis on me and I fell asleep. I remember there was a bell sound before that happened " I nodded and turned off my Xtransceiver

"This grunt uses the same method every time" Looker said "in every case, they say that she comes late at night when the victim is asleep or gone. have that signature signed on the wall" he pointed at the painting "they hear bell sounds and takes their Pokemon and maybe even a wallet. but only the cash" I started thinking.

"Any camera footage on who ever walked in?" I asked anyone

"No sir, no one was seen entering this room" one of the police said. this girl comes into this place without being seen in camera...

"She must've teleported here" I thought "it makes since. how else will she get up here? We're on the top floor of this place" Looker nodded

"You have a point there, you do" he continued thinking

"Let me ask this" I looked at everyone "what was the main purpose of Team Plasma?" Everyone looked at each other

"To liberate Pokemon" a officer said

"Because..?" I was trying to get them on the same page, but they just stared at me "because they want to take Pokemon from 'foolish humans' remember? Honestly! I'm much younger then you all" I looked at Larry "may you tell me what Pokemon you had?" He flinched and started sweating

"A-a..." I narrowed my eyes

"What was your relationship with them like?"

"Our relationship? They were worthless good for nothing babies! They can't win a fight and they can't do anything right! They're always crying and I have to force them to stop" I glared and put him in a arm lock

"Sam!" Looker gasped. I leaned in Larry's ear

"We don't tolerate abuse sir" he flinched

"I- I never abused them!" I glared and tightened the lock

"I know when someone is lying sir, you force your Pokemon to be silent? No wonder that girl took your Pokemon away" I snorted "guys like you make me sick"

"You bastard!" He shouted. I looked at the police officers

"Get him out my face" they nodded and handcuffed him

"What about my Pokemon!?" He shouted before being taken out

"We'll get right on that! But they won't be around you anytime soon" I said casually and started looking around the room

"Sam" Looker called. I continued looking without looking at him "you were suppose-"

"Abusing Pokemon is against the law Looker, I know what is right and wrong. that grunt, I admit, had a good excuse to take his Pokemon. but this doesn't mean I'm not going to stop her" I looked at the sunrise "let me do my thing, I'm sure I can catch person by the time I graduate" he nodded and closed his notepad

"You are one interesting boy Sam" I chuckled and ran my fingers in my hair "keep it up. you'll be a famous World International Police one day" I smiled and looked at Abra near my feet

"Yeah... that's my only goal... to stop bad people from doing bad things" nothing is going to change my mind. I know my rights and I will stick with them
