Nate's Pov

I ran after the grunts who stole Sewaddle from Rosa, I won't forgive them for doing that "get back here! In the name of the International Police!" I yelled. they ignored me and kept running towards the city

"Hold it!" I heard Hugh's voice shout. the grunts stopped in front of him "what are you guys up to here anyways?"

"Hugh! They stole Rosa's Sewaddle!" I shouted. he looked my way confused

"Huh?" The grunts looked at each other while Sewaddle was asleep in their arms. what did they do to her!?

"Nothing... we were just out on a jog" one of them lied "so what did we do to you that you're bothering us with questions?" I glared

"Bastards! Don't try to pull anything! We have you surrounded! What do you take us for!?"

"You stole a Pokemon! I can never forgive Pokemon thieves like you! Hand over the Pokemon! if not, you're about to feel my rage!" He took out a Pokeball "N-Sam!" I nodded and send out had Dewott run towards a pair that was staring my way while another pair was looking at Hugh

"Yesh" one of them said "trainers sure are unruly these days" he shook his hand and handed over Sewaddle to a grunt girl "you're mistaking your Pokemon's strength for your own? I couldn't care less about a runt like you and that boy that claims to be the international police" excuse me!? "We got the Sewaddle we're looking for, its got nothing to do with you!"

"What's so special about that Sewaddle?!" Hugh asked

"That Sewaddle belongs to my friend! You have no right to steal it from her!"

"She stole it from us first!" The girl holding Sewaddle yelled "this was our Sewaddle first! That girl stole I believe, stole it from one of our co-workers, we're just taking her back" I shook my head

"I don't care what your excuse was! You mistreat Sewaddle! Hugh! Cover me!" I don't care what's special about Sewaddle, they're not going to make Rosa sad "Dewott! Razor shell! Abra, Psychic and take Sewaddle back!" Dewott sharpened his shells and attacked the two grunts while Hugh used his Servine to slap the others.

Abra got a hold of Sewaddle and brought her to my arms "no!" The grunt glared. I showed my badge

"You're under arrest for resisting, show me your hands!" Hugh ran to my side after they all were too much out of energy to stand. they didn't show me their hands "I said show them to me!" They slowly raised them. I called Looker "yo! Looker! I got a couple of grunts I'll be sending over to you!"

"Good job Nate! I'm in Castelia in the office" I nodded and hung up

"Abra, take them to Looker" she nodded and lifted her arms "wait" I pointed at a random grunt guy "except him" she nodded and took everyone but the one I was staring at. he was shivering in fear as I gave him a cold look

"Why do you want him for?" Hugh asked. I closed my eyes

"Dewott" Dewott nodded, knowing what I wanted and unmasked the blonde criminal with blue eyes

"Cam!?" Hugh gasped "you're part of Team Plasma!?" He glared. Cam looked away and stood. Servine tied him up so he won't run. he sighed and looked down

"How did you know?" I snorted

"I always knew" him and Hugh looked at me surprised "I just never said anything because there was no proof. you disguised yourself as a student, think you can fool everyone for who you were. I did research on you Cam, I know who you are" I walked up to him and snatched his collar angrily, he shivered while staring at mydeath glare "you think you can just take Rosa's Pokemon like that? Sewaddle is not your concern dammit"

"Sewaddle was ours first!" I tightened my grip, he winced

"Don't pull that crap on me! I know you're lying! Now you better tell me what's so special about this Sewaddle that you had to steal it over and over again!" I felt Sewaddle move. she moved towards me shoulder. I used the hand I used to hold her to take a better grip on Cam and lift him in the air "I'm not going to ask you again" I snarled

"Nate" Hugh touched my shoulder "what's gotten into you, I never seen you this way!"

"You just haven't seen me in action" I smirked and shook Cam "can you not hear me? Dammit Cam! Tell me about this Sewaddle!"

"I don't know! We were just ordered to find it and take it back to the boss! But I will tell you this" he was silent for a moment "we are searching for something... when we find it, that's when our secret weapon will be able to use its true power! That's all" I threw him on the floor "Nate..." he frowned

"Don't used my name so familiar, we were never friends" I turned around "bastard"

"Nate! What are you saying!? Yeah, he's part of Team Plasma, but you can't forget-" I looked at Hugh, he flinched

"Everything he did with us was a lie Hugh, I know when people are lying" I looked at Sewaddle frowning at me, I scratched her chin "you should hate him as much as you hate every one of the other grunts, he was never our friend Hugh, accept the backstabbing he's done" I walked back to the performers square and put Sewaddle on the floor.

I knew Hugh since I was a kid. five years ago, Team Plasma stole Jenny's Purrloin. it had been given to her as a present. he was only a little kid, he couldn't do anything. I know that he's trying to be stronger, but he shouldn't be soft on someone who pretended to be our friend. yeah, I should have told him, but that would only break him more...

"You okay little one?" I asked Sewaddle, she looked down. I pet her head gently "I'm sorry I was scary before, I was just mad that he took you from Rosa... he's a back stabber, I never liked him" I looked up at the trees and saw a Emolga dragging Rosa's bag to the tall grass "I never trusted him" I quickly put her on my shoulder "you!" Emolga flinched at me "what do you think you're doing!?" It panicked and tried to fly with the bag between its teeth "Eelektrik" Eelektrik speeded up towards the flying Pokemon and came back before I could blink

"Ema! Ema!" Emolga tried to struggle out of Eelektriks tail by using volt switch. it was no use. Abra had appeared next to me and disabled the attack to escape

"It's not nice to steal" I took the bag from Eelektriks tail and glanced inside to check if it was Rosa's bag. it was "where did you get this?" I looked around "where's Rosa?"

"Sew!" Sewaddle was looking up ahead at the crowd surrounding the side of the Driftveil Drawbridge. there was Bianca

"Yo! Bianca!" I looked at Eelektrik to signal him to let Emolga go so we can run towards her and the crowd. she wore a worried expression "what's wrong?"

"It's Rosa..." my breath thickened as she cried "she jumped towards the water to catch her Pokeball and no one can find her!" I gasped and ran pass everyone

"Out of the way! International Police coming through!" I made it to the edge of the fence and saw a Police officer in uniform

"Son, you can't come near here, please step back with the others" I ignored him and pass him to see the water. he grabbed my shoulder forcefully "sir! Please move back!" I moved his hand and showed him my badge

"I'm a world international police, take your hands off me" he stepped back, showing his hands "give me a update" I looked back at the water

"Yes sir, it seems like there was a young lady had jumped from here while chasing after a Pokeball" I ran my hands in my hair

"Arceus..."

"Sew..." Sewaddle frowned. I pet her head and dug in Rosa's bag to find all her other Pokemon safe. Just one was missing

"Meloetta!" I called. she didn't appear "Meloetta!" Still. I groaned "dammit... I wish I had a flying type" i looked at Bianca rushing over to me "Bianca! Do you have a flying type!" I looked at the officer "is anyone looking for her!?" He jumped at my sudden shout

"I only have one Pokemon with me..." Bianca frowned, showing me a Emboar through the glass. I shook my head and looked around to see if I can find her. the oceans too big to see from the other side of the open bridge

"Come with me to the other side" I looked at Abra. she doesn't know where Driftveil is, she might end up teleporting us into the water. I returned her and the rest of my pokemon and grabbed her hand to run her through the gigantic thing

"Nate! Slow down!" Bianca yelled

"No way! I need to find Rosa!"

"They're already sending a search party! I gave Clay a call and said he's already on it with a bunch of ex-Team Plasma members!" I stopped running after we reached the city and looked at her surprised

"Ex-Team Plasma members?" She nodded.

"Team Plasma had divided up to two sections, one who followed N and the other who now, still follows Ghetisis" I shook my head and kept running. I don't have time for this, I don't care who looks for her, as long as she's safe

I hid behind a sign with her after seeing two grunts standing on the bridge that connected the land to the city from the land connecting to the drawbridge. one had a formal uniform while the other wore the current one. something's up

"C'mon!" Current TP said "lets have fun stealing Pokemon together, like we did before!"

"I can't" former TP said "I've learned the hard way that stealing from others is wrong!" Hm..

"Oh come on! It's too late to start all goody-two-shows now!" Current TP pushed the other guy harshly to the floor. the former one didn't look like he was going to bother to fight back "people don't understand our just cause! Don't they call you a villain who was plotting world domination? Even so you quit team plasma, people are still really cold to you, right? So, you might as well just come steal Pokemon with us and take over the world" the former TP looked behind his shoulder and back at him sighing "the people who are mean to you now will be grove long at your feet and saying how great you are!"

"I can't..." Former TP sighed "my Lord N will be sad..." Lord N, the one Rosa has high respect for? "I can't do that to him..."

"N!" Current TP snorted "team plasma's king... what a joke! He's nothing more than a traitor! You disappeared somewhere and a banded us when we needed him!" I was about to say something before we saw Hugh running over angrily

"Hey!!" He ran up to the current TP and punched his nose. my eyes widened

"Start talking, you Team Plasma trash!" The Current TP stood up, holding his bloody nose "you're gonna pay for that! Oh yeah! Almost forgot... I'm not suppose to cause any trouble! I'll get you next time!" He ran off

"You're not getting away!" Hugh ran after him. Bianca and I rushed over to the Former TP

"You alright there?" I asked, helping him up

"I'm okay" he sighed and looked out the distance "we were friends when we were both in Team Plasma... by two years ago, we split into a group that follows lord N who wants to save all pokemon, and a group that follows Ghetsis, who plans to take over the world" just like Bianca said "sorry, but I have to run, we're having a search party" he ran off

"Wait!" He stopped "I'm looking for my friend you're looking for also!" He faced me

"You must be Nate" I don't like how strangers know my real name... it's suppose to be Sam

"Please call me Sam" he nodded. I faced Bianca

"I have to go Nate... give me a call after you find her" I nodded and patted her back

"Thanks for coming" she nodded with a smile and ran off. I looked back at the Ex TP "lets get going!" He nodded and ran off. we searched the corners of the city where the ocean could be seen. there was a old man in a brown robe and hat and a white beard was walking behind a Zorua sniffling on the ground

"Sir!" The former TP called, rushing over to him "over here!" He told me, I went over "this is the guy that's friends with the girl we're looking for!" The man looked at me. the Zorua came up to me and started sniffling Rosa's bag

"I see, it seems like he hasn't put anything against us for being a international police, but right there is not the time!" The Zorua transformed into a little boy and looked at the old guy. did it just turn into a human! I better check my Pokedex about this Pokemon "hm? What is it Zorua?"

"I smell her! The scent is all over this bag!" Zorua looked at me. my jaw dropped

"Did he just..." he nodded

"You are friends with Rosa, right?" I nodded "that's who we are looking for! That scent of that bag..." he looked away "it can't possibly..." he played with his fingers, then slapped his cheeks slightly to snap himself out of it "I have her scent! Follow me!" He grabbed my wrist and rushed me over to the drawbridge. he seemed down when he thought of the scent of this bag

The old guy and Ex TP caught up with us "where is she Zorua?" The old man asked

"Under the drawbridge" he sniffed the air and looked down in a frown "yeah, that's her..." I bit my lips nervously on how he said it and started removing Sewaddle off my shoulder, my bag and clothes, showing only my wet suit

"I'm going in" I dug in my bag and tossed the Former TP one side of the rope while I tied the other side around me "I'm going to jump in and pull me up when I pull on the robe, got it?" He nodded. I send out Dewott "help me out buddy" he nodded and jumped in, I followed right behind and held him so he can help me swim

We swam towards the bottom of the drawbridge "Rosa!" I yelled. a flash of light caught my eye. something was signaling us from a far "come on Dewott!" We swam forward, though the current was building as the day grew old. Dewott was struggling "come on buddy... you can do it!" At that moment, he started growing into a new Pokemon "you evolved..." he was a Samurott now! His body was big enough for mine to not touch the water as much. he swam swiftly through the currents until we made it to a rocky area. I could see Rosa's Lanturn using its light

"Lanturn!" Samurott dropped me off on the rocks. I looked at Rosa holding Lanturn in a hug, passed out with blood coming from her forehead. I frowned and held her close, checking for a pulse, she's still alive... thank Arceus "I'm sorry Rosa... I should've gone after the Pokeball while you go after Sewaddle... it's my fault" I gently picked her up and put her on Samurotts back while I got on Lanturn "come on everyone, everyone's waiting" they nodded and swam us away, following the rope that was attached to me

After we reached a few meters from the end of the rope, I pulled on it. many Ex TP members heads popped up to see me, I waved my hand. "get my Abra!" Abra came in no time and looked at me "pick us up Abra!" She nodded and levitated us to the city

I rushed over to carry Rosa bridal style "where's the Pokemon Center?!" The old man rushed over

"Come" I quickly followed him and a group of men and some girls in the old uniform Rosa wore before while she stole in Castelia, well, rescued, and arrived at building that sort of looked like a church, but smaller

"We'll treat her in here, our goddesses are masters of healing" the Ex TP I knew since I got here told me. I looked up at the night sky and just... wondered where Meloetta is

"Nate" I saw Hugh rushing over to me. We went into the building and saw a few old grunts taking care of some Pokemon. "this way young man" the old man told me, moving me to a bed with two pretty girls standing by it, next to a Gardevoir and a Gothitelle

I nodded and gently put Rosa down. Zorua was in its true form and jumped on the bed to sniff her. he whimpered and laid his head on her stomach depressedly

"We'll have her healed in no time" the girl with pink hair smiled

"please leave while we work" the blonde said. I frowned at Rosa and held her hand. I'm glad she's okay...

I walked away so a curtain can cover the area the girls and Zorua were in "what happened to her?" Hugh asked while having Sewaddle on his shoulder. I picked her up and carried her in my arms

"She was running after a loose Pokeball after Cam stole Sewaddle, it fell out her bag and I guess" I sighed "she went into the water to catch Lanturn" I looked for Lanturn and saw some old grunts taking care of my Pokemon and it. what is this place?

"Who is this?" The old guy from earlier asked

"My friend"

"I see" he nodded and made us sit on a table "let me introduce myself, my name is Rood" Rood huh? Sounds familiar

"You guys are all Team Plasma too, right?" Hugh asked while looking at everyone "tell me, what makes you different from the Team Plasma back there!?" He glared.

"More accurately, we're former members of Team Plasma. Because of the incident two years ago, we started taking care of the Pokemon that were separated from their trainers as a way to atone for our misdeeds" huh. I'm sure Rosa would love to hear about this. I remembered her telling me about her dream of taking care of Pokemon "and you are?"

"My code name is Sam, world international Police" I showed him my badge

"And I'm Hugh, from Aspertia City... Five years ago team plasma, I mean, you, stole my little sister's pokemon. I'm the pathetic trainer who wasn't able to stop you" he stood up while putting his hands on the table "'separated' what a joke! YOU were the thieves who stole them!" I forced him down to sit. Rood looked surprised, Hugh just stared at me. he knew if I knew this man was lying

"Is that so..." Rood said "my sincerest apologies"

"Just an apology? That's it!?" Hugh stood up again angrily, grabbing his robe "Where's my sisters Pokemon!? Purrloin! WHERES PURRLOIN!?" I closed my eyes

"Hugh" I heard him sit angrily. he knows not to mess with me when I'm serious, and I think that time he saw my behavior with Cam sharpened the situation

"The Pokemon you speak of is not in this place" Rood said, fixing himself "I imagine it is still being used by Team Plasma now. just as you say, our apologizing doesn't solve anything, but you can't move forward unless you admit you were wrong and apologize..." I nodded in agreement

"Enough already!" Hugh slapped the table, i remained calm "hello driving isn't going to bring my sister's Pokemon back!" He looked at me "Na-Sam! I'm going to the Pokemon Gym. I'll get stronger and crush every single member of Team Plasma!" I chuckled and closed my eyes

"You do that" he ran off. I sighed and looked at Rood "I'm sorry for him" he nodded silently

"Team plasma made trainers let him suffer... I feel terrible about it... how foolish we were..."

"The past is the past, my friend had proven that"

"The young lady you found, Jade" Jade... hm, her fake name I assume "as former Sage, I know everything about my former team members, her name is really Rosa. she's the smartest of everyone we had working for us. she was always serious and refused to join us in the dining hall when we come together to eat once in a while" I looked down "she had a temper on her, but she's one of our best... even if she didn't participate in battling along side the others"

"Even after the two years, Rosa still stole Pokemon from people" he looked at me surprised "she had a pokemon that would help her look for the mistreated Pokemon and take them away from the owners. she always get their word before she sets them free. either in a daycare center, in the wild, or if they remain to stay with their master" I sighed "she is now my partner in the force while we travel Unova. Iappreciate for all that you have done for these Pokemon, people do change"

"Indeed, thank you for understanding" Sewaddle was trying to get my attention. I could tell she wanted to go see Rosa

"Go ahead" she crawled off me and towards the curtain "do you know anything about that particular Sewaddle? Team plasma seems to keep stealing her away" Rood looked at Sewaddle taking its time to walk.

"Not that I know of" I sighed and rested my chin on my arms tiredly "Zorua seems pretty surprised to see Rosa, I wonder if they knew each other" If I do recall, I remember Rosa telling me something about a Zorua

The girls and their Pokemon came out the curtains and walked over to me "Gardevoir gave out a powerful Heal Pulse for our Rosa" the pink haired girl smiled

"She should be good by morning, you may see her if you like" the blonde said. I rushed up, picked up Sewaddle, who wasn't even half way through the room and approached Rosa sleeping peacefully

"Hey" I smiled, sitting on my knees so I can hold her hand, it was warm, good... "you silly girl, you got me worried" I noticed Zorua staring at me. I ignored him "rest up" I put my head on the bed "we'll have more fun tomorrow. don't do anything like that again" I smiled and just went to sleep as I was
