Rosa's pov

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was Nate sleeping on his bed without a blanket. The blankets that towered on me fell when I sat up. he gave me all these blankets just so I can be warm... but now it's hot!

I stood up and walked over to Nate. I held his hand and felt warmth against warmth... he helped me sleep through the night without dreaming about my parents... I have to try my best to keep my mind off them, which I know will be hard, but I have Nate on my side

"What time is it?" I asked, hoping Meloetta will answer

'10 pm' wow... we slept all day 'are you feeling better Rosa?' I nodded

"Yes" I smiled and took a blanket off my bed and put it over his body so he can be warm. than sat on the floor near him, held his hand and laid my chin on his mattress "thanks to Nate.." I closed my eyes "do you think you can get Chimecho to use Hypnosis on me? I want to wake up at the same time Nate does" after a few moments, I fell asleep where I was, still holding his warm hand

Nate's Pov

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was Rosa holding my hand, sitting near my bed. my face went red when I saw how close our faces was

Why was she here? I thought she was sleeping on her bed. 'She woke up last night, seeing you without a blanket, so she gave one to you!' Meloetta smiled while moving in rhythm. there was a blanket over me, no wonder it suddenly got warmer. speaking of warm, Rosa's hand was back to normal

"What shall we do today?" I asked as I sat up, still holding her hand "Meloetta"

'Yes?'

"I was terrified earlier... she was freezing. it won't happen again, right?" I knew the answer to that, but I just wanted Meloetta to make me feel at peace for a bit. she frowned and held my shoulder

'It's still in her heart' she closed her eyes 'it's one thing that it stays in her heart, it's another when it stays in her mind. if it's her mind, that's when her shadow will leave. but if that pain is still in her heart, even without thinking about it, it will grow dark' I sighed and ran my hand through my hair. So she's still going to be mean 'yes, but it's better than thinking about it all at once' did she just read my mind? 'Yes' I face palmed. so that means she knows how I feel about Rosa... 'more or less, I don't look into others personal life' that's a relief 'we should probably go and get breakfast' I nodded and shook Rosa's shoulder gently

"Hey, wake up sleepy head" her left eye opened heavily

"Five more minutes..." she groaned, closing her eyes again

"Don't you wanna go on the roller coasters?" She didn't respond "how about the Pokemon Musical?" Her ear twitched like a Pokemon "cotton candy" she squeezed on my hand a little "Performers Square?" She looked up confused

"Performers Square?" I knew that'll catch her attention

"It's a area in the city where others perform many talents. there's singers, jugglers, cooks, fire breathers, dancers, and everything!" She looked at the bed to think about it

"Okay!" She smiled brightly. I helped her on her feet "I wanna take a bath, then I need to take Meinfoo to the Pokemon Center for its arm"

"Oh yeah, that Meinfoo came out of nowhere during the catwalk while you were battling Elesa" she nodded "by the color, I remember it was a Pokemon that we saved together" she nodded again

"Yeah, it still has a broken arm, I have to give it a cast" I pet her head

"I'll wait out here for you. meet me in the lobby later so I can take a shower too" she nodded happily and ran off to the bathroom. I closed my eyes and sat down

My Xtransceiver started ringing. It was Cheren "Cheren, do you have anything?" I asked

"Angel wouldn't pick up, so I asked Blade for some answers" Blade, he's so cool. he's almost as cool as Angel. Blade is super strong and helps a lot of people in need. even though he's not a International Police, I do want to be like him for that reason.

"What he say?"

"Having a shadow taken from you..." He closed his eyes out "it isn't possible without a legendary Pokemon" a legendary Pokemon? I looked at Meloetta staring while playing with Chimecho "frankly, I can't tell you myself, here, I'll transfer you to Blade's Xtransceiver" B-B-Blade's Xtransceiver!? I'm actually going to talk to him?!

"O-okay" I nervously waited for the call to transfer to someone I long to talk to. this is awesome!

The screen went black, but I can hear voices on the background "hello?"

"Is this Nate?" My heart was racing nervously. hats his voice

"Y-yeah, it's nice to meet you"

"Or hear you!" He laughed "nice to meet you too! Sorry it's only audio, I'm pretty busy at the moment"

"Oh, do you wanna talk later than?"

"It's fine, I just can't let you see what I'm working on right now, it's sort of a surprise for the public" I nodded, not that he can see it "so you're friends with Rosa, huh?"

"Y-yeah..." I blushed "she's a good friend. she can be sweet at times but she does try to kill me once and a while" he laughed

"I see, that's what happened with a dark heart" the Xtransceiver was silent for awhile "so Cheren told me about what Rosa asked? Can your shadow be taken from you?"

"Yeah, she kept asking that after she beat Elesa"

"Elesa? Cool! Well to answer her question. a shadow can be taken from you by only one source, the legendary Pokemon Giratina" Giratina? "Giratina is a Pokemon that can control shadows. it had took the shadow of Angel, till this day, she doesn't have a shadow of her own" my brows raised

"But without a shadow, don't you get cold?"

"Only if you don't have a bright heart. There's a difference between your shadow being taken and your shadow leaving. your shadow leaving is caused by changes in your body, and it being taken from you is a different story... why would she ask something like that?"

"She told me yesterday 'if I don't face my past, my shadow will be taken from me' that's what she was saying" the Xtransceiver was silent for a while

"Only Giratina can take her shadow.. did she see Giratina or at least it's shadow, you would know if you see red dots appear"

"No, I didn't see anything"

"I wonder if he wants her to do something... if she gets her shadow taken away, her memory would be lost" I flinched "loosing part of your 4 needs will effect the body. if you get your shadow taken from you, your memory will leave with it"

"But-but I don't understand! Why would a legendary Pokemon like Giratina take Rosa's shadow, of all people!?" Meloetta flew up to me and hugged me. I started shaking "I don't want her to forget me... I can't loose her... she's the reason why my shadow hasn't left me..."

'No no, this isn't your concern... you shouldn't think about this right now...' I looked at her confused

"Meloetta..." Chimecho levitated towards me and put me to sleep. I crashed on my bed tiredly

'Please Blade, I know what's going to happen, don't let this be a concern to you...' I heard her say before my mind started drifting off 'let me take care of Rosa and Nate' that was the last thing I heard before going to sleep

Rosa's pov

I stepped out the bathroom and saw Nate sleeping on the bed soundly while Meloetta sat on his stomach "how long has he been asleep?"

'10 minutes'

"Well, wake him up, I'm going to go down to the lobby and get Meinfoo that cast" I grabbed my bag and had Chimecho follow me downstairs

'Why would a legendary Pokemon like Giratina take Rosa's shadow, of all people!?' I frowned when I heard Nate say this 'don't want her to forget me... I can't loose her... she's the reason why my shadow hasn't left me' I ran my hand on my face. what does this all mean..? Why does it have to be me that goes through it?

'Because you're special, Rosa' I came to a halt and looked around confused. its that voice again... 'You still need your shadow, I will not take it from you until you don't need it anymore' what's that suppose to mean? I scratched my head and sighed

"I'm not letting you take my shadow, I don't want to forget Nate" I told the voice. it never came back. I rolled my eyes and approached the front desk

"hi, I need my Mienfoo to have a check up on its arm" I took it out and watched him jump onto the desk, frowning at me "you won't be able to fight in awhile with your arms, but I'll help you" he nodded and faced the nurse

"We'll have Meinfoo as good as new, your name?" She asked

"Rapunzel" she nodded and placed Meinfoo on a gurney and left, with Meinfoo crying for me. I sad smiled and watched it go

I closed my eyes and held my heart. I had remembered that voice from before. that voice that said it was going to take my shadow, I had heard it once or so when I was young...

Chimecho flouted around me to get my attention "what is it Chimecho?" She spun around and made her usual sounds. I have no idea what she wants

'Sing' Meloetta said. I shook my head and laid back on my seat 'why not?'

"I'm not in the mood to do that" I sighed, closing my eyes

'Is it about what Nate said?' I stayed silent 'don't think about it Rosa, your shadow is in your body, as long as you keep your mind on earth, it won't leave you, and it won't be taken from you for a long while' I eyed her 

"Do you know something I don't?" She turned her shoulder, closing her eyes

'There's a lot of things I know that you don't' I narrowed my eyes and ignored her

"Whatever, I just want to leave this place as soon as possible"

"No way!" I turned around and saw Nate walking up to me with his hair wet "we have to stay so we can have some fun!" I looked away

"Not interested" he sighed and sat next to me "who were you talking to while I was in the shower?"

"Blade, Angel's twin brother" I lift my chin in understanding "I don't seem to remember anything from it... I don't even know why we spoke, but we did" he chuckled while petting his Dewott. I stared at his normal happy face. did he go through memory lost?

'I made sure he forget about everything that would cause him to worry about you' Meloetta said. 'he's worried about you and that won't be healthy, for now, he doesn't remember talking to Cheren nor Blade, but he does remember to keep your mind on earth so your shadow won't leave you' my cheeks went a tad pink as I looked away. Nate doesn't need to be that worried about me... it's not like I'm anything special 'you are special Rosa' I huffed and crossed my arms

"Shut up" she giggled and sat on my lap while we waited for Meinfoo to come back

"Talking to Blade was really cool" Nate said out of nowhere

"Oh? Why's that?"

"He's a cool guy, he helps many people out. he once went through a wildfire to search for a Pokemon that went lost!" My brows raised surprised "he's someone I like to be one day" he sighed and looked at me "don't you feel the same about Angel?" I looked away and said nothing. he chuckled and pet my head "how you feeling?" I found myself smiling

"Better... thank you" he nodded with a bright smile and held my hand

"I'm not letting you go cold again, if something's bothering you, tell me, okay?" Meloetta looked at him surprised. she did say he forgot the things that made him worried about me. was it that he didn't worry about that moment or he just remembered?

"You talk to me like we're best friends or something" I snorted dryly

"At least you admit we're friends!" I shook my head amused and pushed his face away, he was getting too close

"Shut up" he laughed. the time while we waited, he grew bored and started playing with my damp hair. I didn't feel like putting it up after I towel dried it, so now he's playing with my 5'8 feet long hair

"Your hair is getting longer Rosa" I nodded "do you want me to take you to a salon?" I shrugged

"I don't really care" he started doing something to it, I got sleepy while he did it "what are you doing?"

"Braiding" I believe I feel him putting bobby pins in my hair. i furrowed my brows and tried to turn to see what he's doing "hold on! I'm almost done!" I sighed and remained still "done!"

"Miss Rapunzel" Nurse Joy called. I walked over, feeling my hair not even touching my back... I quickly reached to find where it went and found it all done in some braids towards a updo, my hair was bumpy on the top and... wow, it's like I didn't have all this hair

"What did you do?" I asked him. he smiled while walking up to the counter I was in front of

"Your Meinfoo is all good" Nurse Joy said "he needs to keep that cast on for a week and a half" that doesn't seem so bad. Meinfoo jumped off the gurney and ran over to hug my leg. I smiled and returned him and Chimecho back to their Pokeballs

"Thank you Miss" I bowed in respect and walked out the building with Nate catching up "so what's up with my hair?" I asked while playing with it

"Oh, I just put it in a simple updo" I eyed him holding his Dewott "your hair is pretty thin from your hip to the floor, but everything else higher is thick as my hair" he ran his hand in his hair "thin hair isn't necessary honestly, if it can be cut, cut it off" he chuckled "not that I mind, I like playing with your hair" I stopped walking and smirked at him. so he likes playing with girl hair?

"Did you use to play with dolls?" His face went red

"No!" He looked away stubbornly "when you're surrounded by as many girls as me, you pick up on a few things. Hugh has a sister and I often watch him do her hair" I rolled my eyes when he said surrounded by as many girls, what a player

"What a player" i started walking again

"What you say?" I looked over my shoulder at him

"I think you're dying inside because you haven't flirted with anyone in a while" he smirked

"I have you to flirt with" I turned away

"Don't flirt with me"

"Too late!" I sighed. this guy is annoying "come on!" He grabbed my hand and started running towards the amusement park "let's go play!"

"Don't you have a job to do!?"

"We can see from up the Ferris wheel after we play" I sighed, chuckling, and let him do what he wants. he might be annoying, but he's the closest I have to someone caring enough to actually cry for me... looking at his happy face, I can't help but feel the same way

We spend a few days here in Nimbasa City... and can I must say, I had so much fun! I ate cotton candy, rode on all the Roller Coasters, every ride, and everything and I don't think I wanted to leave. Nate on the other hand...

He got sick on the first ride, threw up everything he ate, and smelled terrible. I couldn't exactly enjoy myself when he wasn't with me, but I had Meloetta with me and we had a blast!

"You okay Nate?" I giggled, watching him lay on the bench on his belly. Eelektrik, Abra, and Dewott were supporting him

"Yeah..." he said weakly

"Do you have motion sickness?" He shook his head and sat up right, slouching. Meloetta flew up to him and helped him out

"It's not that..." his face went green again. I held his head

"You don't have a fever. you're about 99.0 degrees. if you don't get some treatment, it'll go up to 99.5 degrees, that's when you'll get a fever, let's prevent that so I don't have to be bored while you slope in bed" he stared at me while his head rested on the bench behind him

"You're a damn robot" he looked away. I giggled and sat next to him "I'm not motion sick" he got his color back thanks to Meloetta "I ate something I wasn't suppose to and it usually last a few days of just throwing up everything I eat"

"Are you allergic to something?"

"Yeah"

"What?"

"Fat" I blinked a few times

"Huh?" Did he say fat? Nearly everything he ate was fat!

"My body doesn't process large amounts of fat, like the foods they sell here. I can take up about 100 grams a day"

"That funnel cake you ate when we got here had about 40 grams, not to mention everything else you are that had more" he nodded "why would you forget something like that? Who's allergic to fat?" That's pretty weird...

"Me" he stood up and stretched "I got distracted, okay?" I stood after him

"By what?" He pointed up ahead at a poster with a pink haired girl and a green haired boy. they seem to be idols, performing a concert in this very park tomorrow "do you want to go see them? Or the girl?" He shook his head

"No, I don't want to see her, she'll attract attention if we meet again" huh? He sighed and put his hands in his pocket "did you have fun?" I nodded happily

"Yes! The funnest ever!"

"Funnest isn't a word" he smirked

"Don't correct me!" He laughed and pet my head "so that girl" he sighed

"Her name is Nancy, I know her by Yancy... she's my ex" I stared at him for a moment

"Ah" he nodded

"Can we leave the city now?" I put my hand on my chin

"Do you still have feelings for her?" His face went red "it's okay if you do" I shrugged and walked pass him to the exit "it's not like we have anything together or anything"

"Huh?" I feel him make a face as he followed "I never said anything about us having something" I froze and blushed "ah? Rosa?" His face came close to my cheek "do we have something?" I shook my head and picked up my pace

"No, we have nothing" i walked through a crowd that were performing different things. is this performers square? It looks fun

"You know we have something" I heard Nate say. I ignored him and kept walking "Rosa~" he sang. I stopped walking and faced him

"What?" he chuckled and looked around. Sewaddle came out of her own and crawled to my shoulder

"Maybe you should perform here" I looked around at people showing off their cool talents. before I could answer, I felt something odd, like someone was running towards my direction

I turned around quickly, it was like lightning when someone just took Sewaddle off my shoulder. my eyes widened at a group of Team Plasma grunts running off with my Pokemon

"Sewaddle!" I cried

"Rosa!" Nate pointed behind me. I turned around and saw one of my Pokeballs rolling away

"Oh no!" I gasped

"I'll get Sewaddle, go get your Pokeball!" I nodded as we separated. I tried my best to catch up to my Pokeball. from where I was, I could see that it was Lanturns Pokeball rolling away from me

"Lanturn!" It was going close towards the water under a large bridge, I'm not going to make it! "Lanturn! I'm not going to loose you again!" I threw my bag and dived towards the water Lanturn was falling towards. I don't care what happens to me. my Pokemon comes first before anything... my hands caught Lanturn just in time before we hit the water. I blacked out

Going through a serious case of writers block! I'm so sorry I haven't been updating! I'll try to keep going but idk! Writers block is like a disease for me! It'll last forever because I hardly ever go through it! So sorry! See you soon! Bye now!
