Nate's Pov

I knew when Rosa tells me to stop, she never means it. I know when people are lying and I know she is. Meloetta told me that she likes when I'm near her, but flirting with her and trying it hold her close was making her nervous and that's why she continues beating me... it's getting annoying. if it wasn't for Meloetta, I would be dead

I get that she's nervous about how close I get to her, but I don't mean no harm... I just like being with her, she makes me feel... different

And being with her in this journey will get me to not think about just my dad... if Mr.Cheren never gave us that lesson on Shadows, my shadow would had already left me years ago. I'm lucky to be alive

I watch Rosa while we are in a cafe in Virbank City "Rosa?" I smiled while resting my chin on my head, admiring the way she ate like a pig

"Hm?" She asked with her mouth full, how cute...

"I like to thank you for what you did for my Ampharos" she looked at me confused "I know all he thinks about is Dad... I feel his pain and thats why he's light won't shine... but your song, it made him, us, realize that things happen... he got his shine back, so thank you" she blushed and looked down

"It was nothing really..." I chuckled and whipped away the food that was on the side of her lip. she tensed up, but relaxed and smiled. that was weird...

"Funny thing is that your Ampharos still won't give my Ampharos the time of day" Ampharos rolled her eyes while eating her Pokemon pallets

"Probably because your Ampharos flirts with every girl he sees, just like you" Rosa snorted "just like you... you flirted with the waitress too" I smirked

"You're jealous?" She glared and tensed up again, but relaxed again. hm...

"Shut up" she looked away "why didn't you bring your Ampharos with you anyways?"

"Because he leads the pack together, they often scatter around on their own. he leads them together, so he can't leave" she nodded and looked down at Sewaddle, Smeargle, and Ampharos making some kind of clothing "say... your Smeargle, where do you manage to get it? It's not from around here" she frowned and sipped on her water

"I didn't live here before..."

"Oh yeah... you lived in Kanto" she nodded

"Smeargle belonged to my mother" her eyes were flashing back and forth from dull and shine. I quickly got up

"Let's go look for Looker!" She nodded and stood up

"Swa!" Sewaddle caught her attention and showed her two red long ribbon like fabric in her hands. Rosa picked it up and looked at them

"What the... where did you get this?"

"I think they made it" I pointed out. "Sewaddle is a sewing Pokemon, it uses its silk to make clothing. Ampharos made the cotton and Smeargle made the color... looks like you have your own pack of fashion designers!" I laughed, she pocket the clothes and stood up

"Thank you everyone" she returned all of her Pokemon "shall we go?" I nodded and held her hand

"Looker called and said where to meet, we better get going before he gets a big head" we walked over to a building and took the elevator up. Rosa was looking through a pink Pokedex

"Hey... where did you get that?" She closed it and put it in her bag

"Bianca gave it to me, she also updated yours" I looked at my Pokedex confused

"Why didn't you tell me?" She shrugged

"Forgot" i narrowed my eyes

"you're lying" she sweatdropped "and you have a robotic memory, so you can't forget" she rolled her eyes

"I was a little distracted"

"By me?" I smirked. the elevator stopped and opened. she walked out before me

"In your dreams" I laughed and followed her in until I found Looker talking with a police officer

"Looker" I called. he looked at me and made a face at Rosa

"Sam... I'm glad you're here"

"What about Rosa?" I smirked "she's my partner after all"

"Oh? So she actually stayed?" He sounded annoyed

"Yes sir" he walked up to her

"Do you happen to know what happened to the kidnapped Pokemon of Virbank City?" She looked away. I furrowed my brows

"Rosa" I called, she avoided looking at me "give me your bag" she took a step back. I put my fingers together and waved them towards me "hand it over" she groaned and gave to me

"Looker, can I see the files?" He gave them to me. I took out the months data book from the bag and compared it to the files. I narrowed my eyes at Rosa, she was red "why didn't you tell me you rescued these Pokemon?"

"You never asked" I sighed and gave the files back to Looker

"I'm sorry Looker... looks like Rosa rescued these Pokemon"

"I didn't know it was a crime" I looked at her

"It's not, but now how are we suppose to explain to these people that-"

"Just say you had a spy! Or tell them Team Plasma stole them and pretend you'll look for the Pokemon later when you won't! I don't know!" She glared and matched out the building

I sighed and took off my visor to ran my fingers in my hair "she still doesn't get it... but that's a good idea" I muttered "even if it is lying"

"Sam, if you really want this girl to be your partner, you have to tell her that it's wrong to break in people's houses. we are grateful that she saves these Pokemon and all, but she's doing it the wrong way" I nodded and sat down

"I'm working on it... well no... I need to start" he nodded and threw me a wallet

"We received the education information, copied her files and did some background checks on 'Jade' of Team Plasma. she didn't do much but steal Pokemon, but by knowing her now, she did it for a reason. give her that badge, we put in the picture you send us last month. there's her official World International Assistant. we can't make her a police because she didn't take our exam" I nodded and pocket the badge

"That's fine" I stood up "let's just go through the city and lie to these people..." I don't wanna do this, but there's no choice... I need to train Rosa how to do a job properly

Rosa's Pov

Agh!! He talks to me like I did something wrong! I saved those poor Pokemon from such selfish trainers! Is that a crime!?

'The way you did it was wrong' Meloetta said

"Who asked you!? Stop reading my mind!" She giggled and pulled on my hand "where are you taking me??"

'A rock club!' She giggled... what in the world? She took me to a strange alley and pulled me down some underground place with the Pokemon Gym symbol

"I don't wanna challenge a gym!" I whined

'You have to!' I have to..? Fine, whatever! I entered a super loud room with a band, a dj, and that girl that was having a argument with the captain when Nate and I came to the city

The captain went off to Pokestar studios to live out his dream... but he was going to cause problems if he doesn't run the boat. I can see why this girl was upset. even though she did a double job in her own

"Turn down the music!" I glared, the band continued playing. I don't see why people like this loud music! I much prefer the quiet cafe back in Castelia... Performing there a couple of nights ago was nice

I send out Ampharos and pointed at the wires connecting to the boom boxes, or whatever those boxes were. she nodded and used a slight shock to the currents. the place's lights went off for a moment, making the electric guitars and the dj booth stop working

"Hey!! What's the big idea!!!??" The white haired girl, the lead singer, the gym leader, asked, shouting

"You were too loud" I sweat dropped. she jumped off the stage with her guitar behind her, to face me

"And why should I care about what you think!? Huh?! Are you picking a fight with me?!" I smirked

"Sure" she has no chance

"Calm down Roxie, she might be a challenger" the girl who plays the base guitar, said. Roxie looked back at me

"She's pretty hot!" The drummer guy smirked. Roxie was building up steam "what's your name cutie?" I narrowed my eyes

"Rapunzel" I don't like giving out my real name to strangers. the pair on the stage looked at me surprised

"No way! Aren't you famous for singer in that one cafe in Castelia?" The girl asked. I shrugged and looked at Ampharos

"I wouldn't say famous"

"So!" Roxie said "you're a singer too, huh? Got a band?" I shook my head "that's lame! So you think you have it takes to challenge my gym, huh?"

"You don't look all that tough to me" she glared, brought her guitar in front of her and strung a string, making the noise nearly explode my ear off

"Get ready! I'm gonna knock some sense outta yah for insulting me!!" She send out a Koffing. I moved for some room while she jumped back on stage to play again

"Go Chingling!" I shouted. Chingling cheered in place while playing a light bell sound for excitement

"Seriously!? That's the best you got!? This is going to be easy! Koffing smug!" Koffing let out some poisonous smug to the field

"You don't know about type advantages? So sad" I said "Chingling! Dodge! Then use Hypnosis!" Chingling rushed out the way of the smug and put Koffing to sleep

"What the!? No way!? It's a psychic type!?" She gasped. I smirked

"Yup! Use Psychic!" Chingling started glowing white "Chingling?" Her body grew into a different looking pokemon. I took out my Pokedex... a Chimecho, huh? "Alright! Chimecho! Psychic!" She nodded and threw Koffing to the wall, close to Roxie's face, fainting it. her eyes widened at it

"Dammit!" She returned it and strummed another string loudly "this is not over yet! Time to turn this show around for a victory!" She angrily send out a Whirlipede. I returned Chimecho and send Ampharos towards the field

"This is a waste of time" I sighed. why did Meloetta talk me into this... no, she does things for a reason, so I don't say no "Ampharos, get this over with" she nodded and used a thunder bolt for a KO move. Roxie nearly dropped her guitar in shock

"No way..." she swung her guitar behind her "what are you doing losing!?" She asked herself

"You got served by a quiet cafe singer" the girl laughed

"Shut it!" Roxie glared and looked at me, calming down "I guess you're strong. this sucks, I didn't even give more than one attack..." that's my battle style "but I feel revitalized and refreshed now!" She started stretching and smiled at me "here!" She dug in her pocket and gave me a purple bubble badge "proof that you beat me!" I turned my shoulder and walked away "hey!"

"This was a waste of my time" Meloetta came towards me with the badge in hand

'Take it master' I sighed and took it from her

"If it shuts you up" she cheered and followed me outside the door. some guy with dark skin and a Afro walked over

"Miss! I saw your performance against Roxie- hey!" I kept walking "ma'am! Please wait!" I sighed and looked at him

"What?" Why does everyone annoy me?

"Please follow me to Pokestar Studios!" He waved his hand. No way! Roxie ran up to me

"You're going to Pokestar Studios!? Oh! I forgot! The old man! I have to get him back to work as captain!" She ran off. Meloetta used psychic to move me

"Meloetta!" I shouted. She giggled and teleported me in front of the Afro man and a bald guy...

"I see... so she's famous in Castelia? And she beat Roxie only one move to defeat both her pokemon... I love it!" The bald guy said

"Indeed! She should be here any minute!" Afro guy said. I cleared my throat "oh! And look who is here!" He smiled "Welcome to Pokestar Studio! We've been waiting for you!"

"Really?" I looked at him confused

"Yes! This is our boss, Mr.Stu Deeoh!" I sweatdropped. odd name...

"Bonsoir!" He smiled

"Bonsoir..." I can speak other languages by the way

"I'm Mr.Stu Deeoh! Charmed, I'm sure!" He shook my hand "you must be Rapunzel! We were just talking about you! We had heard of you for months and we finally got the chance to hear your singing in person in a cafe a while back... but some young gentleman had to speak with you... then you never came back.." I think they were talking about Nate

"He's my friend" not really. he nodded

"I would like to explain Pokestar studios, but I need a little time to prepare. i'm so sorry, dahling, could you wait a eensy moment?"

"Uh..." it's pretty late.. and I don't know where Nate is

"In the meantime I'll show you around" Afro guy said. Mr.bald guy looked at him

"Oh, that would be maaarvelous! Movies! They're amazing! Pokestar Studios inspires and moves people all over the world! You can make sure Rapunzel experiences its many charms" uh... excuse me? "Well then, I'm absolutely must be off and start my preparation! I'll see you in a minute!" He rushed off

"He was odd..." I admit. Afro guy laughed

"That's my boss for you! What graceful footwork! Please come with me!" He walked off, I tried sneaking away, but Meloetta stopped me

'You know Rosa... if you become a actress here they can give you alot of money... and that way, you can save more money for whatever you were saving for' my jaw dropped

"Okay!!" I cheered and ran to follow Afro guy. I have to gain more money! My dream will be a reality sooner than later! I use to watch a lot of movies during my times in the Castelia apartment and even some with Nate. if people watch these things, money will be coming in! Yay!

"First" Afro guy said "let me tell you briefly what Pokestar studios is all about! Pokestar Studios was build for making films, its a movie metropolis" oh! Movies?! Cool! "Making films are made and released right here!" I followed him through the place. he showed me the theater, where the movies are shown

The captain from earlier came and told Afro guy his thanks for putting him in a movie... he's in a movie?

"I'm glad to hear that"

"Who might this be?" The captain looked at me

"A fabulous singer and artist of Castelia, she also challenged your daughter! She has real potential! A fresh discovery for Pokestar studios!"

"Oh wow! It's nice to meet a celebrity in person!" Captain shook my hand. I'm not a celebrity at all... "If you beat Roxie, you are very talented! You know what? They're releasing my movie now! Will you come and see?"

"Sure! I would love to see how movies are done with people you see right in front of them!" I smiled, grabbing the captains hand and rushed to watch the movie, after we ordered the tickets

The movie starring the captain was... so confusing... Even he thought it was bad... my Xtransceiver started ringing. I moved out the way to answer. it was Nate with dirt on his face

"Hey! Where are you!?" He asked with a big smile on his face

"Why... do you have dirt on your face?"

"Oh! Because when I went back to tell the city people on what happened to their pokemon, saying they got stolen by Team Plasma... they blamed me and threw me in dirt!" He laughed. I sweat dropped. I don't get why he's laughing "where are you?"

"Pokestar Studio..." he nodded and hung up

"Hi!" I jumped in surprised and found him behind me, covered in dirt "sorry I'm late!"

"Nate..." i frowned. Sewaddle, Ampharos, And Smeargle came out and dragged him out with Meloetta "what the..?" What just happened?

Afro guy took me around Pokestar Studios, showing me the filming studio, where the movies are filmed. I keep on wondering where Nate went... we went inside and saw Mr.Baldy inside

"Boss! We're here!" Afro guy said. Mr.Baldy turned and gave a big smile with his silly mustache

"Well now, thanks for coming! Rapunzle, dahling, I brought you here because I have a very important request of you! I'll bet you've figured it out, but I want you to be in Pokestar Studio movies" I gasped

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I cheered

"Your friend can be in it too!" I turned around confused and saw Nate wearing a red collar shirt and blue pants...

"Where did you-"

"Your pokemon made these... I think it makes me look good" he smiled, popping the collar

"That's not what I was going to ask.." I sweatdropped. I was going to ask where'd he come from. oh well! I rushed over to him "can we be in a movie?? Please please please!?" He stared at me for a moment

"Can you..." he held my arms "do that again?" I looked at him confused

"What? Beg?" He nodded. I rolled my eyes and punched his chest, but not too hard

"Please" i snarled. he laughed and looked at the guys

"We'll do it!" He cheered. he's such an idiot... a guy with a mask and odd costume came over.. I think he was in the movie

"I'm Brycen... please to meet you Rosa" my eyes widened

"How you know my name!?" I glared

"Brycen is Pokestar studios pride and joy, our marquee star!" Mr.Baldy said "He was also a gym leader back in the day" oh... that's why he knows me... I don't like how all the gym leaders knew me! "Anyways, this young man and you seem like a perfect team. young man, would you play the super villain for this movie?" Him??

"Wow... that's a turn around. considering that I'm a World international police... but I'll give it a shot" Nate smiled

"It was Brycens idea" Mr.Baldy said

"I heard from Bianca that she met you and this young man. saying that you two are together and I want to see how good of a team you are" Brycen walked away

"As cool as ever" Mr.Baldy said "please step this way" I walked forward. I could hear Nate asking him a question

"Is this a romantic movie?" Damn you...

"It's action son"

"Will there ever be a romantic one?"

"Of course!" I could hear Nate cheer

"Then I'm definitely coming back!" I faced palm... this isn't going to be fun anymore...
