Me: **it was my first day on Pasio! And I was excited to learn more about how battling works on this artificial Island. I felt thirsty having just alighted the plane, so I ducked into the first Pokémon center I saw and walked up to the drink lady Trinnia**

Me: hi I would like a drink please.

Trinnia: sure! Buff Blends, Tech Tonics or Aid Ades?

Me: umm... what's the diff?

Trinnia: ok are you a offensive, defensive or disruptive person?

Me: uh... defense maybe? Why is that relevant—

Trinnia: what level?

Me: what?

Trinnia: what level are you?

Me: I don't know... I just arrived on this—

Trinnia: ok. **chucks a normal can of Aid Ades into my hands** drink up.

Me: what?

Trinnia: you asked for a drink right?

Me: what about the other two flavors?

Trinnia: can't do. You can only drink that.

Me: why?

Trinnia: no reason.

Me: **shrugs and drinks the drink**

Trinnia: **chucks more drinks**

Me: uh... One is enough...

Trinnia: of course it isn't! The key to getting stronger is to drink more!

Me: ...

**some time later**

Me: why do I feel more empty after drinking these...

Trinnia: cause they up your level cap duh.

Me: then how do I up my level?

Trinnia: **chucks book into my hands** read a ton of these.

Me: great... school again?

Trinnia: it's to get stronger!

Me: ... **I sit down and start reading. After reading a bit and feeling more fulfilled I walked out of the cafe to look at the shop. Over there another trainer was slamming her phone over and over again into some sort of charging device which seemed to be pulling sync pairs into the Pokémon center against their will**

Me: what?

Trainer: GIVE ME CYNTHIA YOU IDIOTS! **screams at Brawly**

Brawly: uh... take this power up so that I can scram?

Trainer: **grabs three star power up**

Brawly: **scrams**

Kahili: **gets pulled in** urgh! Not again! I just want to play golf but I never get any peace do I?

Trainer: oh I've never seen you. Hi there.

Kahili: a new trainer? Fine, I've no choice right? Let's join forces.

Trainer: **screams at Tricia** GIMME CYNTHIA!

Me: uh...

Trainer: oh hi! You're new right? Don't bother me now, I'm busy. Here take this candy and this lucky cookie.

Me: uh... what are these for?

Trainer: you eat them duh! How else would you get stronger?

Me: weird... I can't eat this cookie...

Trainer: oh you need to read scrolls first.

Me: is everything here about eating and reading?

Trainer: I suppose. Now don't disturb me I'm hunting for Cynthia.

**Later on at the cafe**

Me: hmm... these drinks seem to be filling me less and less...

Trinna: yea. Talking about that your current bottle is too small, you need a bigger one.

Me: seriously...

Trinna: of course!

**even later on**

Professor: here! **dumps an egg**

Me: what am I to do with this? **spots the trainer still hunting for Cynthia**

Roark: **gets pulled into the Pokémon center like metal to a magnet**

Trainer: WHYYYYY?! **grabs 3 star power up and pushes Roark out**

Me: um, excuse me?

Trainer: oh it's you. What is it?

Me: can you tell me how to cook this egg?

Trainer: what?

Me: **shows egg** were supposed to eat this thing right?

Trainer: what?! NO! What gave you that idea?!

Me: ...

Trainer: ok that makes sense. You don't eat eggs though, there are Pokémon in them. You've to hatch them.

Me: oh?

Trainer: the egg's hatching?

Me: wait? what, no its still intact.

Trainer: ok. You see, when you see an Oh?...

...

oh never mind.

Me: what are these pies for?

Trainer: oh they're for eating when your egg hatches... and they're tarts not pies.

Me: oh?

Trainer: is the egg hatching?

Me: why do you keep asking that?

Trainer: ... never mind.

Me: what are you doing anyways?

Trainer: oh you can get people to join your team. I'm doing some hunting.

Me: I see...

Trainer: it's easy, you just slam your phone and say goodbye to your gems.

Me: ... how does one get gems?

Trainer: uh... you... you attend events... yea... that and the daily challenges.

Me: oh?

Trainer: is the egg... oh never mind.
