Earl the magikarp

Yea... magikarp jump again.

Today I would be talking about Earl, my Grey Bubbles magikarp.

Now, Earl is a great fish who did insanely well in most of her training sessions. Like seriously, I keep getting great efforts and extra training points while trying to up her jump power. In fact most of the training gave great efforts, a few even being amazing.

Now for people who don't know, there are three kinds of tiers you can get training. The good, great and amazing efforts.

Amazing gives the most jump power, good gives the least and great is in between. Most magikarp would usually get mostly good efforts from their training sessions but Earl always got a great with very little good efforts.

To make things more insane, my training points kept getting regenerated from random events... meaning that Earl leveled up hyper fast.

Earl is indeed a well-liked fish.

During Earl's last league battles before retirement, my other support Pokémon cheered and gave her the 25% extra jump power bonus four times in a row... and it may have carried on if not for Earl failing to pass the last of the four battles.

Earl is so well-liked... even my Pokémon put in extra effort in their cheering! Mostly, it's hard to even come by a 5% jump power bonus... let alone a 25%...

This fish got 25% 4 times in a row.

Well... then again I guess her name is Earl after all... (though we actually named her that after Earl grey tea and not... Earl)

And yes, I know Earls aren't females but this one is.

Now I can't exactly take a photo of Earl because she's already retired but by a stroke of luck, our next magikarp was also a grey and we named it Earl Junior. (It's a male this time) Here's a picture of Earl junior:

Wait a second...

Earl is in the background watching after Earl Junior...

Wow.

Great job Earl, may you enjoy your retirement.
