There's literally three or four suspicious ships in chapter two of Deltarune.

Well if you couldn't guess it one is obviously KrisxRalsei, but what's curious about this ship is what happens after Spamton's fight. Obviously everyone who plays the game thinks Ralsei is in love with Kris which might be case since he reacts and says Kris' name a lot....and yeah it's obvious that Ralsei is into Kris in some way shape or form...though that leads me to the suspicious part of it. Which is the Spamton fight like I said. It makes it suspiciously like there's a different ship other than KrisxRalsei.

What am I talking about?

Remember Monika from Doki Doki? Yeah I'm implying since Ralsei knows about the buttons on the video game that he knows more than he lets on. Which makes it not KrisxRalsei, which might still be the case, but what happens with Spamton makes me convinced he isn't in love with Kris, but rather the player since he doesn't seem to react much to actual Kris unless you're controlling them.

I mean if you choose to hug him then he freaks out about it. Yeah Kris is the one hugging him, but who's in control here? The player. Every reaction he does is because of you, not Kris. Which is curious to see.

But what makes it more suspicious is what happens after the Spamton fight.

Note how Kris makes a fearful face after the battle....but note how Ralsei wants them to forget about Spamton. One of the theories I have is that Ralsei could possibly be a villain or a "peon" himself, but the Other theory I have involves the player. He wants the player to forget about what happened so the player doesn't feel bad about being in control of Kris.

In this particular enter counter, however, it's weird. When Kris makes a face Ralsei doesn't even really care. Susie is the one who makes the comment about it, and you're the one who responds in this case. In this situation you can either brush it off like Ralsei or be worried about it for Kris' sake.

Here are the differences.

But first here's what Ralsei says...despite Susie wondering what was going on he dismissed it.

Obviously it means something, and Ralsei knows it, but for whatever reason he brushes it off. Obviously there's only two solutions I can think about and they both involve the player.

But here's what's funny....either way he's protecting the player. Even if it doesn't appear to be like it on the outside, just reading the dialogue is protection towards the player. It meant something obviously, but Ralsei didn't want it to be questioned then.

Here's what happens if you say yes

It's strained....which is what happens when the player says yes. Obviously Kris wanted to say they weren't okay, but the player wouldn't let them in this occasion. But that's not what's sus. Obviously this proves the player's ultimate control over Kris, though.

See even he notes they're a bit shocked, and looks quite odd in this frame. Also why is he in the darkness? I think he could care about Kris, but he cares about the Player more. Or just doesn't care about Kris, and only cares about what the Player thinks.

He does earlier mention buttons in chapter one, so I think he knows this isn't Kris. I mean obviously someone who knows buttons is at least a little suspicious....freaking Queen stating how she likes how much she likes Kris not having an opinion.... Obviously in this situation he's noting the player, not Kris. I think there's a couple of people who know this isn't Kris. Sans obviously since he makes fun of Kris, knowing it's the player, and the Queen are two examples I believe. Either that or the Queen is just talking about gaming. But the lack of opinions comment...yeah. Let's just say Sans isn't the only one who knows Kris is being controlled. Spamton also knows. It's actually quite strange how many characters could actually know Kris isn't here.....at least controlling themselves.

When someone mentioned buttons, Susie was confused, so it's obvious not everyone knows this isn't Kris, and Susie being suspicious of Kris is something to note.

But how does this apply to RalseixPlayer. Kris is your Peon, so since you have control of them and you said yes, he obviously was appreciative of the secrecy. Because if you stated your worry then that could be sus. Just look at the two panels above. In one he notes Kris' facial expression, looking unhappy about it, and in the next he seems happy about the fact that Kris didn't want them to worry. Which should make him more worried. He's completely ignoring Kris' feelings and obviously focusing on your response as a player instead of how Kris actually feel. Which makes KrisxRalsei suspicious as if he cared more about Kris he wouldn't just shove off their feelings. Susie didn't, but Ralsei did. Which is saying something.

He also says this. Let's not push them for now. Push them for what? Push them on their feelings? He's completely ignoring the situation and focusing on your response, and not Kris'

It was strained because Kris wanted to say no they weren't okay, but you are in control.

Now here's the no.

Since you let them say no they yelled it because they wanted so badly to say no. Ralsei also seems shocked about it a bit. Almost like he was expecting you to say yes just to keep this a secret. Unfortunately, Ralsei, in the no choice The Player cares about Kris unlike you, who likes the player. Lol. I'm just kidding the player probably just had compassion for once....haha were all sick in the head for controlling Kris. Thanks a lot Gaster or Mike or whoever let us control this teenager.

And now he's trying to calm you down for whatever reason. Sus. Also isn't it weird how he isn't shadowed anymore? Like he showed more of himself in chapter two than in the first? Hmm....

Don't think too hard about what happened? So you want me to ignore Spamton, who wants to be free? The fuck? Do you want me to not feel bad about controlling Kris? Or should I make them scream no again? Lol.

Why are you being so sus trying to calm Kris down man. You want people to forget the encounter and now you're trying to tell Kris how to breathe? Lol

Ralsei, what the fuck? You see this is suspicious because he's trying to get you to forget about the Spamton encounter, and it seems he reacts to you not Kris.

Not to mention he's trying to tell you to think about him and not Spamton. Sounds jealous not gonna lie.

Where was this Ralsei two minutes ago man? Why'd you only do this when Player says no?

Did I mention he gets surprised by your actions and then tries to make you feel better. He says Kris, but I think at this point he's referring to you.

I hope I'm right because he could also just be the real bad guy and Lancer could be the true prince of Darkness.

I mean he is the prince. He didn't say it himself like Ralsei. It's the king who can confirm it.

Also this is just too mad for something so small.

Notice how she's just casually asking Kris to get the banana.

He looks so pissed off in this frame. Like....sure it seems innocent, and feels like he doesn't want his friend to follow orders, but it also seems like Ralsei hates the Queen for whatever reason.

What if it's because...you hung out with her, and he's jealous. Not of her with Kris, but with you since she likes how Kris acts when he doesn't speak and seems calm.

Also I think there's something about her knowing buttons as well and such. So....lol. But it seriously feels like he's being way too aggressive about one banana. Like...I think the queen is just joking about. She's not even being threatening about it. She's just telling Kris to get the banana. What'd that banana do to you, Ralsei?

It honestly feels like he wants our attention or something.

And then he goes back to friendly once you grab the banana.

See? He seems happy in this. It's kinda weird. It feels like he's trying to play the Queen as some sort of really evil person, and like he's some sort of hero to you. But then you grab the banana, and he states how it's okay.

Bruh. I swear Ralsei is so two faced. It makes me think he's two faced for the player. He pretends it's Kris he's okay with being around, but it feels like it's the player he wants.

In other scenerios it's the same. He pretends it's Kris he's happy with, but it feels more towards a sort of attraction towards the player. When you get closer to him he blushes. When you react with surprising things he seems shocked by them as if expecting you to obey his orders and stay by his side. He did say it was cool you were Kris-like. Which implies he's okay with you being Kris, and Kris not being in control because he likes you, not Kris.

Not to mention there's no sudden happiness from Kris when you make him drink the Ralsei tea. It's only silence and Susie wonders about it.

It feels like these could be clues. Also Ralsei is happy about it. How come Kris isn't happy, yet Ralsei is?

But these two aren't the only suspicious ships around chapter two with Kris.

Okay i know Lancer is innocent, but what he says in and out of Kris' pants pocket is so sus. And his face makes it super suspicious. Like....you could have worded that better, Lancer, but you had to say Spacious hole and make that face. I know it says pants hole, but dear lord that looks far more implying than it should.

I know it might be a reference, but that's so sus lancer.

Also this...excuse me? Why aren't we worried about lancer yet? Treat him like an item? I'm sorry, this I know is a reference as well, but that's too suspicious. Dang. Count on Toby Fox to make a child sound suspiciously like they want Kris to do things to them. But like I know he doesn't want Kris to do that, but it sure as heck made me wonder if that was truly the best words Lancer could use to reference that. Like......dang, Lancer. I know he's innocent and probably not knowing what he says, but I can't help but be super suspicious of these comments he's making. And it seems like he's finally learned Kris' name after forever so that's good. It doesn't make him less suspicious though.

Oh also one more ship that's sus...

It's actually the most subtle one of the group as Lancer statement was super sus and Ralsei is obviously already susly into Kris/Player/Chara/whatever we call them.

It's actually Berdly.

Though he acts like a jerk towards Kris, it's kind of strange. They play games together, and seem to share common interests and quirks.

While Berdly does bully them, it's obvious that he does this because he's jealous of Kris and how smart they are.

But have you ever looked at how truly similar they are?

They're both outcasts, they're both gamers, they're both flirty (romantic is another word I suppose) depending on if the player cab be sort of considered Kris in a way, they're both friends with Noelle (though you could say Berdly used her, so it's not real friendship), they both seem to attract the Queen's attention in some way, they're both friend with Susie, they're both mostly lovers (Kris being a loner as in the only human in a city full of monsters and Berdly being a monster who shoves others aside in return for being smart.).

Not to mention in the middle of chapter two where Berdly states he feels pity for Kris. And while yes pity isn't the nicest of emotions to feel towards someone, it's funny how he pitied Kris for hanging out with Susie while he ignored Ralsei of all people. Didn't even question who he was. Just acted like Kris and Susie were all that mattered, which is funny.

To be honest it kind of did feel like these two characters were already friends and this Dark World kind of separated them. I know I sound crazy, and it's not true...but imagine if it was. Though it isn't.

Also I find these comments questionable.

This started seeming sus. I know it's most likely he's just stuttering trying to convince Kris to let him have some of the glory, but it's just sus to me. Not even joking why does it seem like he sounds gay even though I can't hear him? He's obviously either Bisexual or I'm just obsessed with this ship at this rate...possibly both.

I find this face so sus, and I can only say it looks like Berdly wants to spend time with Kris. Like why did Toby Fox make him look like this as well as say that in the same frame? Are you trying to act cool? For what?

Why is every friend of Kris' being sus to them? Well...most of them. Wait idk if Berdly is properly Kris' friend...uh gamer pal? Gets pissed when Kris beats him at video games. Poor loser....yeah.

I think people say Kris and Berdly hate each other, but I'm pretty sure like the PlayerxRalsei situation that that's just not true. It's the player. The player hates Berdly. Poor Berdly. I mean that's probably why you're allowed to kill Berdly in the weird route. Because the player hates him.

I mean if Kris hated Berdly they wouldn't play games with them right? And if Berdly truly hated Kris he wouldn't just be jealous of them right?

And can someone please explain why Berdly says this?

He looks mad, but he says the blue shape is appealing and that Kris is taunting him with it. Taunting? Appealing? Do those two words even belong together? I know it's a bird, but bruh...is it that appealing? Are you sure your vocab is correct there Berdly? It's just super suspicious how he words it.

Kinda makes it like he's fighting himself here. He might.

It also sounds like he likes that, but idk.

I mean he did flirt with two women and then called Kris a Bluebird later in chapter two......he's definitely got mixed feelings everywhere. I mean if he's hiding the fact he's gay he's definitely hiding it behind a guy who tries to lie to himself about liking girls....

But yeah.

These are all suspicious. I know I went in a little odd there.

I do believe that Berdly might come into play into later chapters because he can be added to your/Kris' party if given the Berdly plush...now with nipples. 🤣

I also kind of believe that at some point Noelle might need to be added as well.

It might get that bad.

Honestly either way this is just a list of possible ships that were shown in chapter two.

Honestly if anything this was just a show of suspicious guys being suspiciously weird, erotic, or too aggressive.
