Kabu
Dang. Kabu has been tough before, but with Grass types he was next to impossible in a normal playthrough alone without healing items such as revived and hyper potions.
I just barely defeated him with my Leafeon. Probably my best defensive grass type besides Gloom and my starter. I wish I could have Lotad or something, but I got Nuzleaf instead. Let's just say Nuzleaf was a good body block so I could heal my Leafeon.
So yeah. If that was a nuzlocke I would be screwed, but you know it's just a grass only run.
But either way, I'm thankful I was able to beat it when I did.
It's going to be easy with water types to be honest. That might be the easiest run between the three. The water gym was a little tough for me with fire types as was Kabu a little bit, but with Grass Types Kabu was next to impossible.
I'm just glad I looked up what moves kabu's Pokémon had because using my high special defensive Tseereena was definitely a help. I've barely used her, and she's already useful to me the second she's fully evolved.
Now, I'm gonna try to see how I can evolve my Pumpkaboo, but that's not gonna happen unless I find someone willing to trade and then trade Jack back and figure out my password to my switch account. I thought I knew it because there's something written down, but apparently that's not my brothers I think. I might have to ask my brother if it's because his account is used for the trades thing on my first one or if it's because of me not buying the internet for this one...
Probably both.
Eh.
All I know is I want Jack to evolve, but I can't evolve him.
I'm so close to Flapple, but Jack is useless if I can't figure out how to evolve him.
Okay maybe not useless, but it would be rather nice to have a Gorgeist.
I also have to find another leaf stone because Leafeon can be obtained with leafstones now which is better than the moss stone btw.
And Nuzleaf can evolve that way too, but I thought early Leafeon was better than early Shiftry. I thought early shiftry wouldn't learn any new moves.
Also Bede in all my runs is always a joke, and idk why.
Guess the x sissoring Leafeon catches him off guard as well as the big biting centiscorch.
I'm using Pokémon I never actually considered Pokémon I want to use before and I'm not being disappointed. Except with Nuzleaf, but eh. Nuzleaf sucks right now. I need that Leaf stone so it can not suck.
I can also ev and Iv train it.
If I can figure out if the highest stat on Pokémon in the wild is indeed a stat you can train.
I don't know much about it, but I figure I might need even more than what I tried with Leafeon.
Let's just say Leafeon is a tank.
And I'm trying to boost Nuzleaf's everything I suppose. Though it might just have an awful nature.
I don't know everything about natures like Naive, but I do know that it does matter apparently.
Just wish I could figure out certain things.
Anyways thank the lord Kabu was defeated. I'll probably have a Snover/Abomasnow for Raihan. Which is Obama...okay that joke is starting to become old.
Anyways yeah that's what I've been doing for my runs. It's fun, but it's also frustrating when I want a water type to beat Kabu, but you know there's only one water-grass type out there, but it's only in Shield and I'm on sword. Yada yada.
