(So obviously Storm and Stripy are in this chapter.)

Let's begin!

Stripy: *Humming*

Stripy has been walking through the ranch woods to her usual spot she made her way there and sat next to the body of water in the clearing.

Stripy: Good morning Storm! *smiles*

Suddenly a head popped out of the water to greet her.

Storm: Morning *mumbles*

Stripy: Sleep well?

Storm: Yes....you?

Stripy: Very well...

Storm: Okay?

Stripy: Anyway, I brought our breakfast as always! *smiles*

Storm: Thank you *mumbles*

Stripy: You're very welcome!

Stripy set the two bowls of food on the grassy ground while Storm climbed out of the water. When Storm was dry they both began to eat in silence, ever since their first meeting, both have been seeing each other often, having breakfast or any food with each other became routine. After they finished eating, Stripy gathered the two bowls and stacked them on a rock nearby.

Storm: I'm going swimming.

Stripy: S-Swimming.

Storm: You....want to join?

Stripy: U-Umm.....w-well

Storm: Something the matter?

Stripy: It's j-just that....

Storm: Spit it out already!

Stripy: I can't swim! *covers mouth and blushes in embarrassment*

Storm: You....can't swim?

Stripy: *nods*

Storm: Well....you're going have to learn sometime.

Stripy: *Gets idea* How about you teach me?

Storm: What?!

Stripy: Please! *puppy eyes*

Storm: *Blushes* No!

Stripy: Please, with a flake, rainbow sprinkles, strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce and a cherry on top!

Storm: *Blushing and mumbles* Fine....

Stripy: Yay! *jumps up and down*

Storm: Come on then!

Stripy: We're starting now?

Storm: What do you think?

Stripy: O-Okay

Storm and Stripy walked to the edge of the pond, Storm jumped in but Stripy hesitated.

Storm: You coming or not?

Stripy: Y-Yeah, but I'll sink!

Storm glided over to her and gently grabbed her with his teeth and carefully put her on his back.

Storm: Better?

Stripy: Y-Yeah.

Storm: Good, I'll put you in the water a bit now.

Stripy: Okay.

Storm went a bit lower into the water making sure Stripy doesn't fall into the water. When Stripy's paws touched the water, she swirled her paws around in the water, creating small ripples.

Storm: Okay, slowly slide off my back.

Stripy: W-What!

Storm: Don't worry, hold onto me when you get in.

Stripy: O-Okay *slides into the water and clings to Storm*

Storm: Now slowly start to kick your feet.

Stripy: Right *kicks feet*

Storm: Okay, now let's start to move, when your comfortable, let go and also kick your arms in the water.

Stripy: Okay Storm.

After a while, Stripy had the courage to let go, Storm kept a good eye on her to make sure she wouldn't drowned.

Stripy: Storm, look I'm doing it! *laughing*

Storm just hummed but once she stopped looking at him, his eyes softened and smiled a bit. Stripy paddled over to him and gave him a hug.

Storm: W-What are you doing! *blushes*

Stripy: *Blushing* I'm giving you a thank you hug! *hugs tighter*

Storm: Oh....*Blushes a little*

When Stripy let go of the hug, Storm quickly went underwater. Stripy started to worry, until he popped up from underneath the water right in her face.

Storm: Boo

Stripy: S-Storm!

Storm: *Chuckles*

Stripy: Please don't do that again...

Storm: Fine....

Stripy climbed out of the pond and shuck off all the water on her fur, Storm also climbed out and layed down on the nearest rock.

Stripy: Are you okay Storm?

Storm: Peachy

Stripy: Okay, now I know there's something wrong.

Storm: *sighs*

Stripy decides to walk closer and then sat next to him on the rock he's resting on.

Stripy: You can tell me.

Storm: But will you listen?

Stripy: Of course I will.

Storm: Fine....

Stripy: So?

Storm: I'm worried that.....you only hang out with me because of pity, that you don't really care.

Stripy: Of course I care and I don't just hang out with you out of pity, I hang out with you because your really cool and an awesome friend.

Storm: A....friend?

Storm didn't understand but hearing that come out of her mouth hurt him a little, he was just a friend to her and for some reason.....it hurt.

Stripy: Yeah...

Stripy didn't understand ever, she called him a friend but something in her....just wanted more, but this unfamiliar feeling scared her a little.

Storm: I've been alone all of my life, so I don't really know how to trust.

Stripy: Trust?

Storm: Yeah, seeing you trust me hurts a bit because....I don't trust myself.

Stripy: Why wouldn't you trust yourself?

Storm: Because of how I act, I always feel like I'm going to hurt someone....I'm worried I might hurt you.

Stripy: You won't.....your too good for that.

Storm: No I'm not.

Stripy: To me you are.....*yawns*

Storm: Tired?

Stripy: Yeah....

Stripy's eyes looked drowsy, without thinking, she curled up to Storm to keep herself warm and comfortable, then she fell asleep.

Storm: *Blushes a little* Am I alone?

Stripy stirred in her sleep and started to sleep talk.

Stripy: You will never be alone again Storm....I'll always be here for you....

Storm looked down at her and....smiled a genuine smile. He curled up around her.

Storm: Same here Stripy.

He fell asleep and both just cuddled each other in their slumber.
