Zero and Axl manage to get across the water, as they wait for X, who is riding on Jet at the moment. Zero twists his hair a bit to dry it out, with Axl doing the same for his jacket.

"Ugh... this fucking sucks!" Axl complained.

"You can say that again," Zero agreed with him.

Piplup rolls his eyes while the two are drying themselves up and waiting for X. Thankfully, Jet comes in with X, who carefully gets up to land and shakes his head as his hair is completely wet.

"Thank you, Jet for the ride," X thanked.

"Bui!" Jet replied, "You're welcome!"

"Thanks for the help, Jet," Axl thanked as he returns him back to his Pokeball. "Okay... we need somewhere to try up our clothes..."

"Yeah. Maybe a hotel?" X suggested.

Zero looks in front of him and says, "I think that city has a hotel,"

The blonde young man points at what's front of them; which is a large city with black buildings, a few smaller ones and more. The trio looks at each other, and decide to enter the city.

While they enter through the gate, a few people notice their wet clothing, which they raise their eyebrows at, but don't say anything. This made X a bit uncomfortable with the unwanted attention but shrugs it off as they get out of the gate.

Once they got out, they see the massive buildings, the roads with cars driving around and people just minding their own business. Axl shouts, "Wow! This place is almost the same size as Abel city!"

"Axl! Not so loud!" X told him off.

"Hehe... sorry," Axl apologised and then shivers a bit. "Purr... is it just me or is it getting cold in here?"

"No... I'm getting a bit cold here as well," X admitted to him honestly.

"Than we should stay at a hotel and try to clean up our clothes as fast as possible," Zero told them.

"Yeah... let's go and look around," X said as the trio runs up to the nearest hotel they could find. Though, that proved to be a bit more difficult than expected. "... I think we're lost..."

"Geez, you think?" Zero asked him sarcastically.

"Hey! I-I'm sure there's something out there!" Axl ensured them.

"Yeah, we just need to keep moving!" X agreed.

"Well, be quick or else we might catch a cold," Zero told them.

"Yeah... not sure how good our immune systems, but let's not find out," X said.

"Are you lost, young children?"

They all turn around and see two women, a man and a young boy around their age that stands out the most to X and Zero. There is a short woman with strange, dark purple hair, yellow eyes, and a pink sweater, a young boy with purple eyes, indigo-styled hair and wears a designer sweater with a lab coat, and finally a large man with dark pink hair, but wears a black uniform that gives the impression he's a bodyguard.

"G-Gate?!" X and Zero thought in shock.

"Yeah, do you know the nearest hotel?" Axl asked them.

"Of course, in fact, how about you to one of the Aether bases?" The woman offered.

"Wait! Who are you... exactly?" X asked them.

"Ah!How rude of me," The woman realised, "My name is Wicke, I was just a simple branch assistant chief of the Aether Foundation, but right now, I'm just a temporary in charge since the current one is a bit busy at the moment, but he will come back tomorrow."

"Pleasure to meet you," The boy greeted them, "My name is Gate, and this is my bodyguard, Sigmund Shield. I'm just Wicke's assistant."

"Greetings," The pink-haired bodyguard said.

"Are you, by any chance pokemon trainers?" Gate asked them.

Just before X and Zero could respond, Axl shouts, "Yep! We were just beginning our journey from... ahem..."

Axl awkwardly looks back at the others, where X says, "Clamont town! That's where we're from."

"Oh! That means you know Prof Berlitz, correct?" Wicke asked them.

"How do you know that?" Zero asked with his eyebrow raised.

"Simple; prof Rowan's retirement is all of the news last year," Wicke told them, "Did you three not watch the news?"

"... Ahh..." The trio awkwardly looks at each other, making Wicke giggle a bit.

"That's alright, not everyone watches the news," Wicke understood, "Especially to a group of teenagers."

"Gah! C-Can you get our clothes dry up now?!" Axl begged of them.

"Of course, of course," Wicke said, "Please. Follow me,"

"One of her bases isn't too far," Gate explained them.

The trio follows the Aether group, as they were walking, Zero whispers to X, "Hey X... that's Gate and..."

"Yeah... Shield Sheldon..." X whispered back.

"Why is everyone coming back?" Zero asked him.

"I don't know... something is going on here," X told him, "Who knows what else is going to happen,"

"Yeah... and that Wicke lady... I don't know about her, but something about her... I don't quite feel right about her," Zero told him quietly, "Like she's hiding something from us..."

"Zero..." X muttered.

He knows for a fact that Zero might be right, after all, Zero is filled with secrets that even himself doesn't know... but even still... X says, "Even if that's true, and I might not one hundred percent trust her... but, I'm sure she's a good person, even if she might have some secrets she doesn't want to share..."

"We're here!" Gate told them.

The trio looks up and their jaws drop a bit, except for Zero who keeps his expressionless face.

The building stands out from the other building has it has a white surface and a star logo on the top.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Wicke asked them in a energetic tone.

"Well... I guess she wasn't lying about having an organisation..." Zero whispered to X.

"Y... yeah..." X agreed.

"Hell yeah!" Axl shouted as the trio enters the thin, but rather tall white building.

A/N - I was originally going to have Lusamine recover from the poisons and such, but I changed my mind, and decide to have Wicke take her role. Since Gladion is away on business, so he puts Wicke in charge for a bit (I'm using the original over the ultra since I don't remember Ultra much) Don't worry, he will appear rather soon.
