Lumine walk through the base as he knocks on a metal door, where he hears a voice called out.

"Come in!"

Lumine enters a laboratory where he sees a short, bald scientist with a red moustache, and a young girl with long blonde hair, pale skin and blue eyes with an small, dark bluish-green ghost with yellow eyes with red irises. The man is typing into a super computer while a large machine is mass producing Pokeballs, where, instead of red, it's purple with a strange dark aura surrounding it.

"How is everything going, Prof Gravity?" Lumine asked.

"Brilliant!" Prof Gravity replied. "We were able to replicate those Shadow Pokemons back in the Orre region! When it captures a Pokemon, it invested into them with the virus you provided and corrupted them!"

"Well, you coloured me surprise, Prof Gravity," Lumine said.

"Why, thank you, Lumine!" Prof Gravity replied with a smile.

"Hey, I helped with the design and the name of those Virus balls!" The girl called. "Right, Misdreavus?"

"Mis!" Misdreavus agreed with her trainer, "Yeah!"

"As expected from a young prodigy such as yourself, Berkana," Lumine said. "Are they ready to be used?"

"No. Not yet," Prof Gravity replied. "They still need to go through the testing just to be safe."

"I see, that is quite alright," Lumine said.

"Though... I'm not sure about this..." Prof Gravity admitted, "Will this truly guide humanity to a new evolution?"

"Yes, of course," Lumine lied as naturally as breathing, "Even if others will see us as villains, we must do what is best for them."

"If you say so..." Prof Gravity understood.

"By the way, when are you gonna tell us what you are, exactly?" Berkana asked Lumine with her hands on her hips. "I mean, you mentioned you're not human and I highly doubt you're an alien, so what are you?"

"Mmmm... in due time, young Berkana," Lumine responded as he heads out of the laboratory.

"Grrr... so vague!" Berkana complained. "I really want to know, now!"

"Patience, Berkana!" Prof Gravity told her off, "I am sure Lumine will tell us in due time. For now, let's focus on the task in hand."

"... Fine!" Berkana groaned, "Come on, Misdreavus,"

Misdreavus nods and the two continue helping out Prof. Gravity. Meanwhile, Lumine smirks as he thinks, ("Ha... those humans have no idea what I'm truly planning. The only thing I care about is creating a new world for new generation reploids. Those junk and humanity has no place in the new world I will create.")
