The trio went up to the nurse and her two Pokemons, as X tells her, "Thank you for helping out my friend, Joy."

"It's not a big deal." The nurse named Joy ensured him.

"Joy?" Zero asked him.

"Ah! Right, you were unconscious!" X realised. "Her name is Nurse Joy. She's the head nurse of the Pokemon center."

"Oh... right," Zero noted.

"Yep. I hope you come again," Joy told them.

"I have a feeling we will..." X muttered, and says, "Well, goodbye!"

"Bliss! Blissey!" Blissey called out as she gives three eggs to each of the boys, much to their confusion. "Wait! Take this!"

"Oh! Ahem... thanks..." X thanked him awkwardly.

Zero raises his eyebrow, which he decides to take out his Pokédex and analysis her; 'Blissey. The Happiness Pokemon and the final evolution of Happiny. This kindhearted Pokémon nurses sick Pokémon to health. It is also capable of sensing feelings of sadness. The eggs it lays are filled with happiness. Eating even one bite will bring a smile to anyone.'

("... Wait... Oh... now I'm getting it...") Zero realised in thoughts.

Since Blissey can sense sadness... he wouldn't be surprised if they're emitting very powerful emotions of sadness to this Pokemon, especially considering everything they been through back in their world. He looks at Audino, who has a concerned look on her face. He decides to analyse her as well; 'Audino. The Hearing Pokemon. Using the feelers on its ears, it can tell how someone is feeling or when an egg might hatch. It does it by touching others with the feelers on its ears, using the sound of their heartbeats to tell how they are feeling.'

("So it can sense when eggs hatch huh?") Zero thought. ("Bet they're popular with farmers... if they are around here. I should save the egg for later in case those voices come back.")

"Hey! You coming!" Axl called out, where Zero turns around and sees his two friends at the exit, "You coming or not?!"

"Co-Coming!" Zero stuttered as he puts his egg on his bag and waves his hand at the medical staff as he leaves with his friends.

The trio gets out of the Pokemon Center and gets a better look at the city. Most of the buildings are rather small houses, a blue smaller version of the Pokemon center, a bridge, the dock for the boats, a dark orange building and a tall building which caught X's attention.

"Hey, how about we look around the place a bit?" X suggested. "So that we have a better feel for the place."

"Mmm... that would be for the best." Zero replied.

"So, where are we going first?" Axl asked them.

"Mmm... how about that tall building?" X suggested. "Maybe we could find something interesting there and more details about this world?"

"I kind of want to go to that weird orange building!" Axl complained.

"I have to agree with Axl here," Zero agreed with him.

"... Mmm... alright," X said, "I will admit... it looks like a bigger version of the Center. Let's check it out!"

"That's the spirit!" Axl cheered.

"Chim!" Wildfire agreed. "Yep!"

"Hehe, I like him already," Axl said.

"Chim, Chim!" Wildfire said. "Well, I like you too!"

"Aww!" Axl said as he hugs his Chimchar. "Let's go! Let's go!"

"Alright, alright," X sighed where the trio walks on as they head to the other building, where there was a man guarding the front door. ("If someone guarding the door. It must be quite important than,")

"Excuse me, but do you have five badges?" The man asked them.

"Ummm...." X muttered.

"No, we don't," Zero answered.

"Than I'm sorry, but you can't challenge the gym leader yet," The man apologised. "Come back again once you have five gym badges."

"Five gym badges, huh?" X muttered. "Well... where do we get the first badge?"

"... You never learn Geography?" The man asked.

"... I... well..." X stuttered, not sure how to respond to that.

"... Alright, hand me the map," The man told him.

X takes out his phone and presses on the map app. The man gets a closer look at it and points at the screen.

"See this? This is where we're at; Canalave City," The man explained, "If you go to the west, you'll head to Jubilife city. Go north and go through that cave, once there, you get to Floaroma town. You head east again and north once you see a small bridge. You go through the Eterna forest and finally, Eterna City, which is where the first gym is at. Did you get all that?"

"Ahem... yeah, I think I got it," X replied.

"... WHAAAAAAAT?!!!" Axl shouted, and then Zero covers his mouth.

"Hey... shut up!" Zero told him off.

"That's good, well, enjoy your adventure, you boys," The man said as the trio walks away from the building.

"... I didn't get anything at all..." Axl admitted.

"Look it up, than," Zero told him off.

"Geez, you don't need to be rude about it." Axl said.

"Chim..." Wildfire pouted, "Totally don't want to get involved..."

"Oh... my god!" X gasped as he reads the label of the tall building, "Is this place has what I think it has!"

X runs inside the building, which the two raises their eyebrows while Axl notices the label; Canalave Library. Zero reads it too and mutters, "Oh boy..."

"Chim?" Wildfire asked, "What's wrong?"

"Let's just say... X is a massive bookworm..." Axl told his Chimchar and asks Zero. "He's gonna stay in there for hours, isn't he?"

"No doubt about it..." Zero admitted.

The two sighs as Axl returns Wildfire to his Pokeball just in case, and enters the library, where there are a couple of shelves filled with ancient looking books, and X looking around the library with the biggest smile on his face.
"This... IS AMAZING!" X shouted cheerfully.

"Shhh!" The librarian shushed him.

"Ahh... sorry..." X whispered while blushing embarrassingly.

The librarian sighs and continues on working on a modern computer while X excitedly look around the books.

Back in their world, they use digital pads as books, though normal books still exist... they're just rare and extremely old. X gains a massive interest in it thanks to Dr Cain introducing him to books and ever since, his room back home is filled with some books as they were rare to come by. Now, seeing so many more books in this world, X grab a book and decides to look for more upstairs.

Zero sighs and facepalms, knowing that X will stay in the library for a good while. The blonde looks at Axl and says, "We should make sure X doesn't get too excited."

"Come on, Zero!" Axl said. "You don't need to be such a buzzkill. Besides, this library is rather small, so I'm sure there's not many books,"

("... If only you knew Axl... if you only you knew,") Zero thought as he walks upstairs, with Axl following him from behind.
