Gardenia looked behind the referee and notices the trio, which she smiles and politely says, "Give me a moment." As she walks up to the trio, "Welcome to my gym! So, which one of you are here for a battle?"

"I am." Zero told her.

"Ah, I have a feeling. You always seem more prepared for a challenge!" Gardenia smiled, "Alright! Wanna get started now?"

"Yes. I do." Zero told her, ("The sooner we finished this battle, the quicker we can get back home.")

"Great!" Gardenia cheered. "So, you two should just sit in the audience seats."

"Okay." X nodded with no complaint.

"Aww man..." Axl complained, ("But I wanna battle!")

The two just goes to their seats while Gardenia and Zero prepares themselves. The referee takes his place and asks, "Is this your first time, young man?"

"Yeah." Zero answered honestly.

"Alright, then I shall state the rules." The referee said, "First rule is that you can only use two Pokemons in this battle, the second rule is the audience isn't allowed to help the challenger nor the gym leader, and the third rule is let the best challenger wins!"

("Two Pokemons?! Shit... I didn't planned that.") Zero mumbled. ("Then I should pick my Pokemon wisely...")

"Alright then! What is your name, challenger?" The referee asked him directly.

"Zero!" Zero told him.

"Zero Vs Gardenia! The one who loses all two Pokemons loses!" Referee yelled out as the two trainers stare down at each other, getting ready for the battle. "Now, BEGIN!"

A/N - I'm so so fucking sorry that it took MONTHS! I been rather unmotivated and very busy lately. I been really trying, but as a writer, having the motivation to write is super hard, but I am really trying to power through and continue writing this.
