"Ah! Perfect timing, Gardenia!" Jenny beamed, much to the trio's confusion. "Ah! She's the grass type gym leader!"

"A-An gym leader!?" X blurted out in shock.

"So that's her, eh?" Zero thought as he tries to give a good look at her pokemon, which he takes out his Pokédex and analysis it. 'Roserade. The Bouquet Pokemon. A Pokémon with a loyal nature. It is the final evolution of Budew. It attracts prey with a sweet aroma, then downs it with thorny whips hidden in its arms, where it's hands contain a cocktail of poisons. Any sort of stab will leave you close to death.' "Mmm... This Pokemon would be super useful on my team since it's that deadly. I just need to find this Budew like I managed to find Starly. But first, this situation."

While Zero was thinking, X taps his shoulder and says, "Zero! We need to go!"

"Ah! Right!" X said as the trio rushes to follow them.

The group fights more of those insane Pokemons and Gardenia yells, "Roserade! Magical leaf!"

Roserade summons glowing leaves and strikes a bunch of Pokemons after them, while Jenny yells "Growlithe! Use ember!" Which the orange puppy pokemon breathes fire at them as the trio heads forward.

"Sorry you three!" Jenny apologised, "But you guys go on ahead! We'll try to stop them from chasing! Just go!"

"But-"Just before X is about to call out, Zero grabs his arm and shakes his head, which X sighs and yells, "Okay! Got it!"

The trio rushes ahead as they head into the north side, which they end up finding a massive flower patch with two of those same goons... including a certain familiar short man.

"Wait... Trilobyte!?" X called out in shock.

"Tch... I have no idea how you knew my code name!" The scientist named Trilobyte said as he turns around and he takes off his mask, revealing his forest green eyes, brown hair and slightly tanned skin with bags under his eyes. "But it doesn't matter; after all, I will have my goons handle you lot."

"You... why are you doing this?!" X called out, "Lumine is not what you think he is?!"

"I do not know how you knew of our leader's name," Trilobyte replied, "But I strive for the opportunity to prove myself superior then other people out there!"

"Tch... I see you're still a arrogant asshole I see." Zero called him out as he takes out his Pokeball. "Enough talk; let's just get this over with!"

"Arrogant little brats!" Trilobyte growled at them, and barks orders, "Men! Take care of that girl and that spiky boy! I will handle that green eyed fool!"

"I'm a man!" Zero corrected him angrily, which Axl couldn't help but chuckle, "Not funny, Axl!"

"Sorry! I can't-ha! I can't help it!" Axl laughed.

"Enough! Just fight!" Trilobyte yelled out as his goons sends out another Gastly, and a purple snake that both are emitting black aura with purple glowing eyes, while Trilobyte summons a small blue slug that doesn't have the aura thing.

"Alright then! Come out Wildfire!" Axl yelled as he summons his Chimchar.

"You too, Piplup!" Zero yelled out as well as he summons Piplup, who stretches his flaps and readies himself.

"Rooty! Let's go!" X yelled out as he summons his Turtwig as well.

"... Goons... attack!" Trilobyte ordered them as the goons' Pokemons attack Piplup and Chimchar, then the brunette man stares X down and says, "Now... begone you pitiful bug!"

"Not a chance!" X yelled back. "Let's do this, Rooty!"

"Turt!" "Got it!" Rooty replied.
