"Big sister! You're finally home!" Alex whined, running into Selena's arms as she opened her front door. Selena get out a groan from the unexpected hug, but hugged her anyways

"I'm home..."

"Hey baby girl, where you been?" Dad smiled from the kitchen as mom was making homemade malasadas "haven't seen you in a while" she put her bag down and tiredly sat on the dinner table, where her sister followed her to and kept jumping to get her attention

"Oh you know... traveling. No big deal" like she's going to tell her family what exactly she did. 'Hey! Lillie and I got some flutes and used them to summon the legendary Pokémon that turned out to be her legendary parent, and went into a Ultra wormhole to save Lillie's mom and a father to be-gang boss. I had to take hold of both their souls that were in danger of spilling out their bodies due to a punishment their legendaries gave them. Lillie is a trainer now and off to take care of her mom that was possessed by a beast from another dimension, where I was spoken to by a unknown voice who might be a unknown Mew that's not even mine, who wants me to meet it back in the Alter at midnight... ' yeah, like that's happening

"I finished my last grand trial. I was told by Kahuna Nanu from Ula'Ula island back in Poni island that the Pokémon league will be starting up soon"

"Oh! Are you going to participate?" Mom asked

"Yeah right..." she looked at Rayquazas Pokéball, the one her dad gave her a long time ago. Seeing that she had it in her possession, dad smiled and pretended like he didn't know she would only use rayquaza for a dangerous mission "I don't care for it... I've been champion twice and it's not even a big deal"

"How do you know you'll become champion?" Dad smirked. Selena snorted, grabbing a banana from the fruit bowl

"Doesn't matter, it's not happening" Alex tugged on her arm, nagging for attention "what is it, Alex?" She sighed, staring at the ceiling

"Selena! Look at me! Look at me!" Alex whined

"Hm?" She could hardly pay attention

"Might want to look at her dear, Kahuna Hala couldn't even understand the change that happened her. Maybe Mew knows?" Mom said. Selena looked down at her sister confused and jumped out her chair when seeing a hint of pink growing on the edges of Alex's eyes mixing into her lime green eyes to her fading emerald green color. Selena held her cheek to stare more closely

"I have pink eyes like you now! They look like my flowers!" Alex cheered. Selena grabbed her cheeks, making her cheeks squeeze together as she stared in complete shocked

"What is..?" She was so overwhelmed about being the cause of the lost of a Leles powers, by the change of their eyes, Alex... "Alex... did you grow?" She even seemed a little taller

"Yup!" Selena stood up

"Mew!" Selena's Mew, her actual legendary, appeared from thin air "explain this" Mew turned away "Mew!"

"Oh calm down! You're making a big deal out of nothing!" Alex begun reaching for the pink creature "the truth is... since you and Alex share that strong bond, and because you're nearly complete, Alex took part of your growth and gained her own little power, but it's not really there yet... so her eyes only changed by the color"

"So... if I get my powers complete, Alex will grow with me?"

"You can say" Mew looked into Alex's eyes "this second to last power... its close to completion, but you have to admit to your own feelings. There's two parts into completing the power. One is already completed, but I can't tell you how you did... and two? Well... you already know" Selena glared at the wall

"I don't like anyone, got it?" Mew giggled

"Who said it was towards anyone?" Sneaky little thing. Selena sighed, petting Alex's head, and walked to her room

"Wait! You don't want some malasadas?" Mom asked

"No thanks... not hungry right now" the door slammed open, letting in Hau

"I smell malasadas!" Oh great... just when she thought she could relax, the overjoyed Lele came through the door like he owned the place "hows it? Everyone! Alola!" Her parents chuckled at their visitor while Alex ran into his arms. Selena pretended not to notice and walked to her door before she was stopped "don't act like I'm not here, Selena" she froze "I can feel your emotions from far away. Gee, don't you ever calm down?" She looked at him with heavy eyes

"It's been a long day... I want some sleep. Leave me in peace, will you?" Hau laughed

"Awe! Come on!" She shot daggers towards him with her eyes, making him freeze instantly

"No, go away" she slammed her room door shut. Her parents looked at each other confused

"Was it me..? Or did I see a engagement ring?" Mom asked. Dad frowned and drank his coffee in silence. Alex stared at the door while Hau stood there, staring at the floor

"I guess I came at a bad time"

"Don't be silly! You're Hau! You're always welcomed! Big sister just gets grumpy when she's tired" Hau nodded

"Don't worry about that! What do you need, Young Hau? Surely there's a reason why you came here. Not that there needs to be a reason to it, I feel you are troubled" Mew said. Hau nodded and faced the family

"Mind me, but I did smell the malasadas, I actually came because I felt Selena's presence and I wanted to talk to her" mom nodded

"Well you're part of the family, Hau. You don't have to explain yourself. You can go and talk to her. Just hurry it up, she falls asleep fast. Won't be surprised if she's asleep already" Hau nodded and walked to her bedroom door, walking pass Mew fading away

Hau knocked on the door, waiting for a response but didn't get one. Opening the door, he saw Selena soundly asleep in her pajamas on her bed, holding her Swablu plushie while next to the reveal mirror. Hey... that mirror!

Her Ninetales, mixed in gold and white, laid on the floor asleep as well and Froslass floating there, staring at him "I guess she is asleep... missed my chance" Celebi appeared and sat on Selena's pillow

"Is what you want to tell her urgent?"

"No, but I think Gladion will get mad if I'll tell him I didn't give her the message on time. He's waiting at the beach and she's here asleep" Celebi held its cheeks in awe and floated up to him

"Gladion? You mean that blonde Lele that's the child of Giratina?" Hau blinked confused "don't wait to tell her! Hold the reveal mirror and go into the dream world"

"Isn't the mirror..?" Celebi shook its head

"It is dangerous, but if you keep your eyes closed and hold it... you'll be send to the third dimension. Go and meet Selena! The dream world is lots more fun with someone else!" Hau sat on the floor on the edge of her bed and touched the mirror, closing his eyes and immediately fell asleep with his head on her mattress

His surroundings consist of a large beaten down mansion that looked like it could be haunted by how dark it was. Hau shivered, not liking the look of this place. Knowing it was only a dream world, he started walking

"W-what is this place..?" From every corner that blocked out any light, monstrous glowing red eyes watched his every move, causing him to gain chicken skin. A book threw across his head, making him duck down and cover his head with a cry "why am I in a place like this!? Get me out!"

"Dummy" Selena appeared on a grand chair with her leg crossed over the other, staring at him with a ditto on her lap. Her ditto, the one given to her by Melody and that passed before the move to Alola.

Since getting the final power of soul forming, since apparently that's what it's called, ditto had been appearing in her dreams to play. Selena stared at Hau shivering on the floor, staring at her

"What are you doing here? Are you in my room? Asleep?" Hau blushed and stood up straight

"S-Selena!" She snorted

"I didn't even do all that much and you're already scared?"

"What is this place?" Selena gave out a small smile

"Believe it or not, this use to be where I use to live"

"Oh? Really?" He laughed for a moment before coming back to reality "wait... here?!" He always seems to be doing that. She nodded and stood up, putting ditto on her shoulder and walked around

"Well yeah... don't you remember me telling you about me running away from home at 13? And that my reincarnation gave me this place?"

"Well yeah, but I didn't think..." he looked around "huh" she rolled her eyes

"Surely there's a reason why you're here" Hau nodded

"Yeah! I wanted to tell you that Gladion send me to tell you to meet with him at Kala'e bay!" Her face immediately changed color, making him smirk as she turned away

"W-why would he want to meet with me?" She snapped in realization "oh... probably because of what happened with Lillie and Lusamine"

"What happened?" Selena waved her hand

"I'll tell you everything" she jumped away. Hau sweat dropped, knowing she was trying to avoid meeting Gladion. Its impossible to hide ones feelings from him after all

Walking around the mansion, Hau became amazed at every detail she told him about her and Lillie's adventure through the Ultra wormhole, Nebby being the legendary Pokémon of Alola and even turned out to be her legendary parent, Guzma, Lusamine, the battle, and the soul forming to save their punished souls. She told him how bad she felt about taking their powers, but somewhere inside she already knew it was for the best. Guzma was grateful, and Lusamine didn't need that power after what it did to her. Guzma's power was dangerous, and Lusamines power made her go insane

"Wow... how long ago was this?" Selena shrugged

"Like... a day ago..? I stayed in the Alter of the Sunne for a long while before it became midnight. I ran away as fast as I could before having to deal with something I don't even know of"

"What are you talking about?" She sighed

"I don't know..." the event of going into ultra space happened early in the morning. So Selena stayed in the Alter for long hours, wondering if she should do as that mysterious voice says and come at midnight. Making her final decision before then, she ran away and traveled to Melemele island by Wailord until the next morning. Too much is happening, things need to slow down before she starts doing something again

"It's so cool how Lillie is a trainer now! Who would of knew? And It's really cool that Lusamine is all better! I don't think you did anything wrong. You saved them! Sure, their powers were taken away from them, but they were going to see death early!"

"Yeah... but does that mean their legendary neglected them? Is there a thing of a Lele being lifted from their punishment? The punishment is made to kill them and have them reborn into a better life style... but I stopped that process and took their powers away, the power that was given to them by their legendary. Do I have a right to lift a punishment..? I'm so overwhelmed by this" she held her head "I feel like I did a sin"

"Mew didn't say anything about it, and something like that wouldn't be written on paper. The true nature of Leles and the legendaries are about 30% known. Which means the rest is more we still have yet to find out, so don't fuss too much" he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and hugged her sideways, resting her head on his shoulder "you're going to be okay. You're a fantastic person. So don't think too much about it" Selena smiled, walking to the lake behind her old home and took in the beauty she missed so much

"Alright... I get it" she looked at him shyly "um... so Gladion is waiting for me?"

"Yeah! And he's going to be mad at me if I end up being late to tell you! Don't wanna make him wait too long!" Selena nodded, taking off her engagement ring to stare at it

"I have to accept these new feelings. Though I won't take it so lightly, I already moved pass from what happened. It's time to grow up and accept the future. I don't know what it may hold but..." she dropped the ring into the lake "I have to move to the next step" Hau rushed to the lake to see where it had fallen

"You can drop things here? In the dream world?"

"Of course... I got this ring from this world, and now I get to leave it in my own little world that can only be entered by me. This is my dream world you're in... this place... it's special for me and Shadow, but I already accepted him as gone. He's in my heart, but he wants me to find another. It won't be easy for me to accept it, but I know what's going to be next" she held her heart "my new guardian... I don't know if he'll be okay, but I'm given another chance. I won't screw this up" Hau frowned at the silent tears falling on her cheek. He smiled and wiped them away

"The Pokémon league is close to being done. We all have time to think about the future. You may seem like you know what you want to do in the future-"

"Actually... I never knew" Hau looked down to think, then smiled wide

"Okay! But at least you're accepting that step in change. We're one step away from seeing how our lives will turn out! Either we make it or not, it's determined if it's meant to be or not! We'll work hard to get where we are! I believe we can do it. Do you?" Selena nodded happily

"Yeah! I guess I am ready for the future!" She looked at the lake, where she dropped her ring "this place is safe... the dream world will hold your precious memories close. This ring will remain here... in my heart" she faced Hau "I'm done with my nap... how about we eat some malasadas and I'll be on my way!" Hau jumped up and down excitedly

"Woo! Alright! Malasadas!" She'll never understand his love for the pastry. He's just really something... to be someone who can make anyone smile if he puts a happy enough attitude. She smiled at his positivity and gave a small kiss on his cheek as a thanks. She really needed the boost. Hau froze there, turning different shades and passed out. Oops... she forgot about her attraction. She giggled and opened her hands to have the reveal mirror appear and force awake the both of them, saying goodbye to ditto before opening their eyes

She floated off her bed and helped the waking Hau back on his feet "hey, Lets eat!" Hau yawned and nodded. She slammed the door open and took two malasadas from the plate already placed on the table

"Oh my! You lightened up quickly! Well, glad to see you wide awake! Dig in everyone!" Mom said. The malasadas were to die for. Maybe she can understand why Hau loves these so much, but... he eats them on a daily basis. She shouldn't say anything when it comes to his love of malasadas

"Hey Selena. Do you have all the z crystals? I heard you completed your last grand trial!" Hau said

"Huh? How you know that?"

"Easy! The new Kahuna of Poni Island contacted grandpa and the others Kahunas about your success and everything really. I still have to finish mine. I just need a little more training and I'll prepare myself to go meet the last Kahuna" Hau thought for a moment "you are... participating in the Pokémon league, right?"

"Ha" Selena rolled her eyes

"I think you will"

"Why?"

"Because you keep saying you're not going to do a trial, and now look at you. You completed them all! You're such a lier" guess that is true... oh well. She stood up

"I got to head somewhere. Excuse me please... I'll be back" Alex tugged her pjs

"You're going like that?" Dad laughed. Oh right.. she needs to get dressed. What should she wear for the meet up? Why is she thinking of what to wear? She can just put anything on like usual. No, her mind is forcing her to wear something nice... dammit

"Where you going, big sister?" Alex asked

"To meet a friend... I have to go" she held her cheek "I'll be close to gaining my complete power soon... I don't know what that'll mean for me, but I hope nothing bad comes your way. Stay safe, okay? I'll be back, little sister" Alex smiled happily, watching Selena rush to her room to get change in clothes Froslass already picked out with Ninetales... of course they know what's happening. Why is meeting up with Gladion... so nerve wracking?
