It's been about 4 years since being in the Distortion world after Rayquaza and Giratina had thrown Ghetsis and Colgress to the Distortion world, banishing them for the sins they caused to the Pokémon world. Ghetisis wanted to rule the world, after his banishment, Colgress took charge by mind controlling the few Leles he could find. Selena was one of these Leles and helped him rule the Pokémon world without a choice. Things led to another, Red had broken his trance and destroyed the machine, freeing the other Leles and banished Colgress

For years, the two prisoners had spend their time hiding from the ruler of the Distortion world every single day, trying not to get attacked or killed. The Distortion world was amazingly large enough to fit everyone on earth, but there would always be a spot where Giratina would spot them. The prisoners had their Pokémon to attack in order for a perfect escape of survival. Their secret spot where they rested was near a revival pond that may heal themselves and their Pokémon to live on another day trying to survive

Secretly training his Pokémon without Giratina noticing, Ghetsis became strong enough to defeat the legendary and lend him its powers. The only way he could control over the Pokémon was with the device he used to control Kyurem. This man longed for revenge to the girl he made Queen and the children he took care of when finding them out in the city about to die.

Colgress on the other hand lost interest in living and stood there watching Ghetisis working on his last wish, since there was nothing else he can do. He knew he failed, and knew there was more out there now and aimed to prepare for anything he'll throw into the world again

"I took another path than Ghetisis wanted. I realized my mistake and was ready to accept the coincidences. I didn't try to escape, I didn't try to survive, but something always told me there was something out there that I could have done. I didn't expect to leave, but if there was a chance... I wanted to continue my research before I decided to mind control the Leles to rule the world and hurt others" Colgress said "I apologize for everything that I did to you and those children. I know a apology isn't going to cut it for all the wrong I caused... those trainers and those Leles that I harmed, I regret everything"

Gladion created a black hole in his hand, glaring as hard as he could. Selena stood there silent and stared at him "I'm surprise you don't know my mother... hurting a Lele for the benefit of one self is strictly taboo. Do you know what we do to people like you in Alola?" Selena looked back at Colgress closing his eyes

"I'll accept any punishment, but I have no desire to die just yet" Selena lowered Gladion's arm, stepping forward

"You still haven't explained what happened to your voice" he smiled

"I was ready for death, so I approached Giratina and it attacked me. Ghetsis saved me, which I really didn't want him to do" he lowered his coat to show off a large scar on his neck and chest

"You've caused a lot of problems... you know? You were the reason why I had to sacrifice my own life to save this world from those natural disasters. You were the reason why Red almost died... you were lucky it was only ditto who couldn't even be effected by such a attack. You caused a lot of pain... but at least you didn't kill my friends" she threw her arm towards him, making him fall off his feet "I'm only giving you 30 seconds before I change my mind about letting you go"

"Master!" Zorua gasped "why?!" Selena turned her chin

"I already made my revenge on Ghetsis... but Colgress didn't care for his own future. He didn't aim to kill them. He's only a passerby now, that's why I'm giving him the chance to flee" she eyed the man frowning at her. She smirked and held her chin "bow before your queen" he flinched before sitting on his knee and bowed

"You have grown a long way since then... Selena. Thank you for giving me another chance"

"Well, the past is the past. Everyone's fine, so I don't care anymore" he nodded

"I will take my leave, Your majesty" he stood up and walked pass her. She rolled her eyes at the last part and left it at that.

"Why did you let him go if he did such terrible things to you and your friends?" Gladion asked

"Death was his punishment and he was ready for it. He had accepted his punishment, so no reason to seek revenge when he already paid his time. I can't get my friends back... he didn't kill them, so what's the point?" she sniffled "I don't care anymore about that man. I just want my friends... why? Why I cursed with this power? They could have been alive... I feel like since this happen, I wish we were never friends. They would of been okay... and I would've still been living under a rock, letting life go by and have no one know who I was"

"No... don't say that..." Zorua cried. Selena covered her eyes

"I'm sorry... I'm just so frustrated. Almost half a year passed and I'm still not over it" Gladion looked up at the moon above them

"Leles are more sensitive than actual humans. Their first experiences may cause them pain. Everyone who observes something bad for the first time will automatically give them a bad rep in life. Leles see more, and suffer more. You're not the only Lele who is hurting, but you're the only one who needs to be watched over. I disabled your powers just in case, I always disable a power when I meet a Lele, but you used it against that man. I heard your taking care of someone, but who's taking care of you?" She looked down "listen, it's none of my business... but you're powerful. There is going to be a time when you overcome everything. There are still people out there who can't help themselves, so don't loose hope. There's always going to be that ray of sunshine in the path if you're still walking. So keep going" Selena stared at the guy blankly before smiling happily

"You're really sweet... you remind me of my friend. He would always give me these talks to make feel better. He did a good job at it. Thank you, Gladion" he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms

"Whatever... what was this thing you were talking about earlier?" She gave the orb back to Froslass and shook her head

"It's nothing" he shrugged "I can tell you don't want to talk to me. I get it... I use to be a lot like you, not caring about much stuff. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me" he nodded

"Don't mention it-" Gladion's eyes stared in slow motion as Selena's body slowly started falling forward. He reached out and caught her, laying her on the ground

"She forced her power" he sighed "she pushed pass my disable and now this happened"

"When she passes out..." Zorua and the other Pokémon hid under Froslass when the wind picked up "she makes a storm..." Gladion stared at everything blowing in a twister around Selena. What a troublesome girl... just what is she? Type: Null sniffed around her curiously. A small creature crawled out of Gladion's hood

"Zy?"

"Get back in the hood, Zyna" the little green cell shook its head and crawled to Selena's face and cuddled with her. Pichu gasped, recognizing it to be the same kind of cell Yvonne had with her! "Bonding... huh?" Gladion smiled and carried her bridal style to another direction, where his Pokémon and her own followed. Froslass stayed behind and stared into the moonlight. She ignored the presents of one approaching her, though aware she might have to deal with them

"You are Selena's Pokémon, yes?" Colgress questioned. Froslass avoided eye contact, but listened "I would like for her to take this" she looked up to see him trying to hand a Pokéball

"Fros?" She blinked and took the ball

"I don't expect her to accept this to give me forgiveness. At least it could be my way to prove of my apology. It's a well trained Pokémon and it's one that protected me from Giratina. Though it is man made, I'm sure she can find its heart and accept it in her Team" He bowed to the elegant Pokémon and left. Froslass stared at him disappearing into the darkness before pretending like to never happened and held the ball close, thinking whether or not to give it to her master

Gladion disabled Selena's powers so it would stop leaking out from its unconscious body. Eevee and Pichu laid on the edges of her body in the hotel room he rented before running into her. He started feeding his Type:Null before Zorua turned back into a human and questioned him

"Do you like my master?" Gladion didn't look at her "you said you aren't affected by anything a Lele can leak out or something. What's your deal?"

"There's no deal at all. I'm only doing this because Leles have to stick together no matter what. It's a oath every Lele possesses in their bodies and hearts. The first dream a Lele has after taking in their negative first experience, that's when your legendary will tell you what you must do in life. The legendary will either give you a assignment, or will only speak to you about the duties of a Lele. One thing they would say is if we break our promise, the gift will be a curse. they will never show their face, either"

"Funny..." Selena spoke, still with her eyes closed "my Mew said my first negative experience was pity. I had seen these three brothers out in the cold rain by themselves. I helped them. It must be that thing about Leles sticking together, because I was a cold child... though I have never had the dream you were talking about. My legendaries didn't speak to me until I was in trouble. That gift that turned curse if you break your promise... does it count if it wasn't your fault..? Because you broke your leg when trying to rescue a Natu..?" Tears ran down her cheeks "I promised I would be back for those boys, but I couldn't leave. Is that why my life is just so messed up? Because of that accident?"

"You are different if you don't already know. You're a different Lele. Your legendaries didn't speak to you in a dream, so it shouldn't count. You didn't know" he walked up to her bed "the fact that you have two legendary parents is something else. I don't think you're in any condition to compare yourself to any other Lele. That curse isn't from your accident, it's from your emotions you can't control"

"I'm sorry..?" He sat on the mattress

"For?"

"Taking your title..." he rolled his eyes

"Seriously? You're apologizing because of that? It was never mine in the first place"

"I feel like I have to apologize for something. I feel awful"

"About me?"

"I don't know" he sighed and pet his Pokémon

"Try not over thinking. It'll only make things worse and judging how strong you were to break through my disable, I'm sure that flower of yours won't last long. Just like back in route 5"

"How do you know about the flower..?" He sighed

"It's nothing to worry about. Just go to sleep already. This room is rented out for the night. I'll just sleep on the floor" she opened her shiny eyes, staring at the ceiling

"I'll go" he shook his head and stood up to sit on a chair

"Don't worry about it, your majesty" he mocked "a queen must sleep completely on her throne"

"Shut it" he smirked

"Tell me about that. Why did that guy bow to you? He took you seriously, not because he was scared"

"That's because I was crowded queen of Team Plasma, a evil organization that worked to liberate Pokémon, then two years later, wanted to bring Pokémon to their overly potential, then so on... I only agreed to be their queen so they wouldn't hurt my friends or Pokémon"

"Evil organization? You were their queen?"

"I also used my Rayquaza to send Ghetsis to his prison when he tried killing me when I faked being queen" he looked down, imagining how things went down "though many grunts didn't know I faked it and I still have a few people out there who randomly bow to me" she face palmed "how annoying"

"That's funny" he snorted "you tell interesting stories... tell me more" she smiled and began to tell him about the time she left home at 13 and traveled for 3 years with the Pokémon her dad gave her before taking the home of a ghost girl, Melody, who previously owned it, awaiting for her arrival since the day she was born

She said more into the story about finding out how everyone found out about their legendary, then with Ghetsis and Colgress's story. It went on and on until she fell asleep, not even believing she told a complete stranger her life story

Gladion wasn't anywhere in the room the next morning. Selena found Froslass standing near the corner with a Pokéball in hand

"What you got there, Froslass?" Froslass hide the Pokéball behind her "find yourself a ball?" She nodded "alright" Selena stood up and picked up her bag "let's go"

"You're not wondering where Gladion went?" Zorua asked as Pichu jumped on Selena's shoulder

"I don't really care. He has to keep going just like me"

"That's what she said" Selena froze "the way he left was like leaving after a one night stand" her face steamed in anger before her hair levitated in place. Zorua flinched at her masters glowing angry pink eyes

"What did you say? Young lady?"

"Ahh! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Selena calmed herself and stared at herself in the mirror. Her eyeballs actually glowed pink. It actually happened like she was told before. Her powers really are growing.

"Watch your mouth, understand?" Zorua bowed over and over. Who knows where that little girl picked up such words. But she's 4 years old and still a Zorua holding a ever stone in her tail. It's not like she's too young to know anything "did we really meet Colgress last night?" She held her head, her Pokémon didn't want to say anything "even so, let's pretend and say we didn't. I don't want to see him again... it'll only remind me of everything" she sighed and walked out the room before turning everyone but Pichu and Froslass

Her mind suddenly thought about Red "Froslass, can teleport us back to Poké Pelago?" Froslass nodded and took her back to her island, where everyone hurried to greet her after not coming back for a few days "hello everyone" she smiled and looked up at Rayquaza flying down to look at her. She reached out to hold its nose "my dear... it seems that Ghetsis wasn't the only one that survived. I saw Colgress last night..."

"What!?" Zoroark gasped "d-did something happen?" Froslass closed her eyes and floated over to the house with the Pokéball in hand. Selena stared before answering

"Almost... if it wasn't for Gladion, I would have. I didn't do anything to Colgress. I let him go, because he didn't effect my future like Ghetsis did. He accepted death, but it wasn't brought to him... he paid his sentence long enough, so he's free to go. I have decided if he tries anything else, I won't hesitate to take care of him like I did with Ghetsis"

"Hello, Miss Selena!" Mohn greeted, carrying a box of Berries and beans "a bunch of berries and such sprouted! Want some?" she sighed and shook her head, walking pass everyone

"Thanks, but I have to check on something. You're doing a good job, by the way"

"Thanks" she didn't question him, not caring, and went into her small house to pick up her laptop to look through her emails

Everyone she send a email to about her leaving had send a email wondering where and why? All except Red and Toby... she knew Red didn't respond, but Toby too? She remembered something about Crystal, his ex, asking everyone where Toby went, but she was probably over worrying since she was that kind of person. Selena disregarded the question and went on with her life. The break up wasn't known to everyone, but she still knows Crystal is pretty worried. Toby is a brave guy who likes keeping to himself and is pretty religious. Which meant he wasn't around, most of the time he pays respects around a few churches in sinnoh, where he's from

He's a powerful Lele, able to age a living thing, control time, and travel through it. There's a whole story about his first experience she learned from him before, but she had a feeling it wasn't going to be long before she's going to think about him again... since his aura is somewhere in Alola

Her eyes wondered for Red's email. It did say her Emil was delivered, but never read... where could he be? Her own family, her cousin, it's been too long without hearing from him "where are you?"
