"Wake up shade!" Selena loud whispered poking on shade's cheek

"Hmm..?" he fluttered his eyes. first thing he sees is her eyes. he stood up. "where are we?"

"That Stevin guy put you to sleep. we are locked up in a pillow room" she explained.

"I'm going to teleport out of here and open the door from outside" he disappeared from his spot and appeared still in the room. "what..?" he tried again. he ended up on the other side of the room.

"It doesn't work?" she asked surprised

"What's going on...?" shades eyes widened. he slammed his hands on the door frustrated. "why can't I teleport out of here!!??" he shouted. she was surprised to see him behave oppositely of how he really was. Her hair was lifting in place

"Because this room is made just for you shade, I knew you would try to escape for I used a special force field to keep you in here" colress laughed from behind the door

"Colress! you ##%#@! release us at once!" shade shouted banging on the door violently. what was going on with Selena's hair?

"My goodness! shade, you changed as much as shadow did...you said 'us' you actually care about Selena? isn't the shadow triad suppose to have no emotion?" he laughed

"Shut your mouth and release us!"

"No can do, I almost have all the special supernatural beings. most are part of team rocket. stay here for a couple of hours. i'll be by to pick you up...oh! and using your Pokemon is useless, so don't bother" his foot steps fated away

"What a jerk!" shade bagged on the door one last time

"I'm sorry shade..." Selena apologized. Her hair fell flat

"Huh? for what?" he raised his eyebrow facing her.

"If I didn't act so stubborn on wanting to be alone. I would've stayed with shadow and avoid getting you kidnapped with me" she frowned. he chuckled placing his hand on her head

"You came here so you can rescue red, we have nothing to really do with it...we just came here to rescue you"

"Rescue me? From what?"

"Dark took us to the burned tower, the legendary dogs had came up and told us to protect something...i don't remember.. falling asleep after getting information is like painting a picture and you spilled water on it, a big blur" he chuckled

"Oh..." they sat down in the soft room for hours. no food, no sound. "I'm hungry..."

Shade cracked a giggle "I knew I heard you laugh, what's so funny??"

"Sorry...It's not something that's funny. just I remember something when before Ghetsis saved me and my brothers ..."

"Oh?"

"Yeah...we were abandoned as kids... we begged and almost died from starvation... that is until Ghetsis helped us and raised us as his children with lord N..."

"So you became loyal to him for that." she said

"Yes..."

"How old were you all?"

"5"

"That young!?"

"Yes...and I'm sorry" he looked down

"For?"

"For what I did to you in route 22, and the cage, and with your Pokemon and other stuff" he looked at her with tender eyes.

"Oh! that's fine! you were only doing your duties, I get it. I'm fine and also my Pokemon" she smiled

"Yes...your highness" he chuckled

"Don't call me that, you saw me fake the proposal" she pouted

"Yes but you still wore the crown, so Your still count as a queen. Goddess Selena" he laughed

"Very funny" she rolled her eyes.

"But I must also thank you.."

"?"

"The Stevin guy mentioned power from our iris. I didn't really see any visible power in you,(even though you hurt my guts)"he mumbled "but when I first looked into yours. I felt myself feel better, like...good. I feel emotion and I noticed the bond you give to people. you make them feel better no matter how stubborn you are" he smiled. she smiled back. she then held her temples tightly in pain

"What's wrong?" shade worried

"My head...it hurts again.." she tried to hold in the pain, but it was too much pounding. She shut her eyes. the pillows on the floor,walls and ceiling were beginning to peal off and rush through out the room.

Shade grew confused as he saw the pillows fly like crazy. was She doing this? He shook her shoulders, she was loosing control. "Selena! Snap out of it!" But she couldn't.

The door had fallen open and the craziness had stopped. she looked up completely normal looking at all the pillows drop to the what is now a iron floor.

"How did you do that...?" shade asked shocked

"I-i don't know... It happened when i was at blues apartment..."

"Oh?"

"Never mind, lets get out of here!"

"Good idea..." he carried her on his back unexpected "hope this works..." they vanished into thin air.

"No way! so those guys were part of team plasma!? and the leader plan was to kill all pokemon!?" Gold asked hovering in the air over Togikiss looking at shadow and dark

"Yup! but don't get him so wrong, N over there was the king two years ago, he wanted to free all pokemon from all humans"

"Why would you all be friends with people like that?!"

"N's father was a terrible man! N never understood the relationships of trainers and their Pokemon. until hilda opened his heart" Nate smiled

"Okay? then how did become friends with the triad?" green asked

"Oh! well, we were only friends with shadow! hilda said that suddenly he opened up and helped her and Hilbert. We never understood how he opened up but he did! and i was glad! shadow, Nate and i first met him in the plasma frigate. He warned us about ghetsis and colress. i wish i knew why he suddenly changed from being a emotionless jerk to a helpful guy.." Rosa smiled

"If he was a helpful guy, why did he continue to serve the leader?" gold asked

"Loyalty"

"If you two are done talking about me! i like some quiet so i can focus on how to save Selena!" shadow shouted at the air.

"Sorry!" Rosa giggled

"Don't worry! lake rage is only 5 more hours away!" crystal shouted. sadly, what she said was true...

'Arceus...why does it have to be so far..? if i knew where the place was i would have teleported there instead of ran...' shadow mumbled

Shade and Selena were not able to escape the building. whenever he teleported. he would end up in another room. Rooms that had rocket members in them. this alarmed them quickly.

Since teleporting could only lead to more trouble. they decided to run, which felt like hours passing through hallway to hallway.

"Heh...you think you're pretty smart do you? I'm surprised that you actually knocked down the iron door...was it one of you two's power?" Stevin grinned stopping them next to Toby, he had a blank face on, completely different from the first time she met him

"We have no idea what you're talking about..." shade said

"Oh, i see, heh..." Stevin looked into shade's eyes. he wobbled to the floor

"Whats wrong shade!?" she asked

"Sleepy...but i don't allow myself to sleep..." he struggled to say

"Take a look at this" Stevin said pointing at a tablet that Toby was holding. red was chained up badly burned

"W-what did you do to him...?" she asked in shock

"Me? nothing at all" he smiled in a friendly tone "i bet you want to see him do you?" she didn't say anything. Toby put the the tablet away. "red, come on out"

Red came out of a dark room slowly and quietly. he had his head down. he wore a team rocket uniform.

"Red..! why are you wea-" red looked up at her with no shine in his eyes. she gasped. he wasn't himself

"Do i know you...?" he asked without changing his blank expression

"Red!" Selena cried

"You know what to do red..." Stevin smirked. Red held his palms towards Selena and shade. fire rushed around them burning their bare skin. they both screamed from the top of their lungs...
