Days went by and many challengers had been wondering about the haunted mansion and decided to battle the 'ghost' girl. They all failed in their battle and ran out the same way the first challenger did.

"This is getting pretty annoying" Selena sighed. she wins every battle and they all end the same. She enjoyed battling, but it really annoyed her that strangers were entering her home, never giving her a break

She laid in her room watching tv, that zoroark stole, with all her Pokemon, and a few misdreavus. Thanks to Froslass intelligence, She found a way to get the tv to work all the way in the middle of nowhere. She heard a cry from inside the gates outside.

"Zoroark" she sat up "come with me just in case some visitors try to come in" She and Zoroark ran out the door. He blocked the entrance with a illusion

She looked around the yard to find a small white shiny eevee crying with a broken leg

"Hey there..." she called, squatting down to reach its body. It hesitated and growled at her. "I won't hurt you... I promise.." she smiled. It looked in her eyes and calmed down. she picked it up and rushed it to a couch inside. All the Pokemon rushed to her side

"What are we going to do? the poor girl's leg is broken, I can't treat her.." Selena frowned, worried. Her only choice was to go to the Pokemon center, but how will she go without getting recognized as the 'ghost' girl?

She ran to her room, pulled up her hair into a bun, put on brown colored contacts, and changed to a normal black shirt, jean shorts, pink hat and her high tops and ran back to the main room.

"Dragonite! let's go to the Pokemon center in Icirrus city!" she said, carefully picking up Eevee, covering her with her pink scarf. "everyone! take care of the mansion and make sure no one comes in!" they nodded and the 3 flew to the wet puddle city.

She put Dragonite in her ball and ran towards the Pokemon center with eevee in her hands.

As she ran, she felt someone staring at her. She stopped and looked around. No one seemed to be looking, but she is positive two pair of eyes were staring at her by the cave looking area with two pillers on the side. She ignored it and ran off.

"Nurse! please help Eevee!" she yelled, placing eevee on the table.

"I'll do my best! Please come back in 10 minutes" Nurse joy picked up the suffering Eevee and took her to another room.

Selena had thought it was werid talking to a person normally then what she was use to. She walked out the center and took out her Dragonite.

"Dragonite, did you see that? I talked to a person... normally" Dragonite tilted her head to the side. "it's weird... let's go home as soon as Eevee is better, I don't like being near people.." Dragonite nodded and softly head butted her master playfully

A youngster boy had ran across from her. He stopped and stared at her while thinking. "you look familiar..." he said. It was the boy that first came into her home. she played it cool

"I don't know what you're talking about, please leave me alone" she said flicking his forehead. He rubbed it, trying to think harder about why she looked familiar. Her hair was the same color, same voice, but different eyes.

"Guess you're not who I thought you were" he walked away. Weirdo... she again felt eyes on her again. She glared at the air. she knew someone was there.

She walked back with Dragonite in the center 10 minutes later, surprise to see that Dragonite could fit through the door

"Hello miss, your eevee has been helped, make sure she keeps this cast on and don't let her walk around too much, but I see it's a wild eevee, won't you take it as your own?" Nurse Joy said, handing Selena her scarf and a heal ball.

"Would you eevee?" she asked her. Eevee smiled and cheered, trying not to move her back left foot. Selena put her in the heal ball and took the scarf. She bowed to the nurse and left without another word.

She stopped by the door seeing a wanted poster of her zoroark.

"What's this?"

"There has been burglaries the past month from this Pokemon. It's been stealing homely goods for some unknown reason with its illusion. Every time the police comes, Zoroark puts them in a 'maze' and runs out." Nurse joy said, coming up from behind her. Selena laughed in her head, knowing it was her Zoroark stealing these things.

"It's a Zoroark, I bet you'll never find this specific Pokemon" she grinned and walked out "Let's go Dragonite!" she shouted. She couldn't stand the something staring at her. The person wasn't nowhere to be found. She huffed and flew back to her home

It was almost impossible to go inside without the illusion blocking away. She wasn't going to call to Zoroark yet, so she turned around

"Come out!" she glared. A man appeared yards away from her from the shadows. He had long white hair, wore all black, wore a black headband on his forehead and has his mouth covered in his sleeveless turtle neck. He was muscular, tall and had grey eyes. she blinked at the color, holding her chin

"What do you want?" she asked. Dragonite glared at the man. he chuckled

"You're the 'ghost' girl, aren't you?" He asked in a deep but soothing voice. he might've been a robber or a police... ninja? But she couldn't take any chances

"I don't know what you're talking about, but you need to leave" she said. he took off his turtle neck from his mouth and showed a smirk.

"Why should I if it's not your house then?" He asked. He was getting annoying really fast. She couldn't stand people... at all! The dark barrier around the mansion disappeared. Froslass had appeared next to Selena

"Froslass..." She looked at her Pokemon. She returned Dragonite. Froslass teleported her back inside. The barrier had came back and covered the house. The man was left outside, but continued to smirked

Coming back home, she took out her brand new shiny eevee from her ball and placed her on the couch.

"Now you rest here sweetie, so you can feel a lot better" she smiled. Eevee nodded and curled into a ball to fall asleep. Selena covered her with the scarf like a blanket

She took off her contacts, pulled her hair down and changed her cloths.

The aura around her didn't feel right. She felt chills around her body. She covered her arms with her hands. All the Pokemon glared at the air.

"How did you get in here?" She asked without turning around.

"Its just a thing I do" the man from before chuckled. She refused to let him look in her eyes. he'll know the truth and she could be arrested

"What do you want?" She asked

"A simple battle" that's what he wanted? just a battle? she couldn't find another way to get rid of him.

"Fine, I accept your challenge" she only turned her body 90 degrees so he still wouldnt see her. Since she was a 'ghost' she wouldn't follow any battle rules. She had demanded many of the Misdreavus to fight before she let out her regular Pokemon.

The stranger had defeated all of them with his Absol in one move. She was beginning to freak. He was too strong... if he could defeat the Misdreavus in one move, who knows what would happen to her own

"Zoroark! illusion!!" she shouted. Zoroark surrounded the man with haze. He disappeared and reappeared in front of Selena. she gasped at him looking into her eyes, just as she did. Gray..

"You lied to everyone that you're a ghost, didn't you" he grinned, holding her shoulders. She froze. she was scared... for the first time time in a long time

She couldn't command her Pokemon to do anything at the moment "W-what do you want..?" she managed to say with wide eyes.

"Pink..." he gave a cocky smile, ignoring her question. The 2 heard Eevee hiss at him. he looked at her whitish fur. She looked like a Pokemon ghost. A perfect match for the fake ghost Selena claim to be.

"Come..." he said grabbing the eevee and Selena's waist, disappearing into thin air. Froslass quickly hurried so she could come along as well

"Lord N.." The stranger appeared in front of a green haired boy next to a brunette girl. They looked at the man in surprised, seeing him holding a angry girl, trying to wiggle herself free

"Shadow? what brings you here?" N asked, they were in his old abandoned castle

Shadow let go of the girl and Eevee. She held Eevee close to her, being careful with her leg.

"What the hell!? What do you want from me!!?" She shouted, not noticing the former king and hero.

Shadow crossed his arms, grinning at the girl. Her anger amused him. Shee felt people looking at her and turned around. They looked at her unusual pink colored eyes, surprised. She stared at them in surprise. She knew exactly who they were

Shadow bowed "I found the girl that has been stealing goods from certain places, well, the owner of the Zoroark. She has a strange aura and power" Selena looked at him confused, what did he mean by strange aura and power? And how he know it was her Zoroark? She didn't understand when Melody told her the same thing

"I see...and this Eevee?" N asked Selena. She refused to speak, "hello Eevee.. will you tell me about your trainer?" N asked. Selena looked at him like he was crazy, but remembered the rumors about his gift of communicating with Pokemon

Eevee didn't feel sure about speaking "it's ok... I can understand you, you can tell me..." she felt that it was okay to tell him

"Selena found me with my leg broken... she took me to the Pokemon center even though she doesn't like people... she is loved by many Pokemon that looks in her beautiful eyes... I don't know what it is, but her eyes are warming and kind, powerful even..."

"Do you say she's a good trainer?"

"She found me not too long ago before Shadow found her... I don't know about trainer, but I know she's a good person"

"Anything else about her?" Eevee giggled

"She loves playing pranks on people with her Pokemon" N looked up at Selena glaring at him. He jumped to see that she was angry. He felt bad, sick even, but he didn't let it show

She petted Eevee on the head. "I'm leaving..." Froslass came from behind her back, ready to leave "let's leave" Selena said. She teleported Selena back home

"Shadow... what was the point of that?" Hilda, the hero, asked. he chuckled

"I heard rumors about her, and I thought that if I bring her and her Pokemon here, I would understand her more. She seemed interesting. When I first saw her, I knew she wasn't a ghost" he grinned

"A ghost?" N and her asked tilting their heads confused. Shadow chuckled again

"Yes, Lord N. Please, may you tell me what the Eevee said?" Shadow asked

"Not much, just that Selena is a good person. She has some bond with her eyes towards Pokémon, and that she likes playing pranks"

"I see...maybe I brought the wrong Pokemon to tell more about her... thank you, my king... I will take my leave" he bowed and disappeared

"Maybe he's in love with that girl" Hilda giggled

"Shadow falling in love? He and the others were always loyal body guards, but I never imagined them falling in love" N stated

"You thought you didn't think you'd fall in love, but you did" she kissed his lips. he chuckled

"I guess...but Shadow is different, he's mysterious in so many ways..."

"So was that girl"

"Yeah...when she glared at me, I felt my body getting tighter, my insides were twisting... I don't know... but maybe she was afraid to know what eevee would say and took it out on me"

"Really..? odd.."

"What was the point of that!? That stupid man transported me to the former king of Team Plasma! and for what?! to ask my Eevee questions? agh!!" she complained to herself. She couldn't remember the last time she let out real anger

Eevee and Froslass looked at her in concern. "sorry guys... it's alright..." she looked at the injured ghost Pokemon that battled Absol.

"Poor guys... Zoroark' may you please bring me some berries?" she asked. He nodded and left the mansion, making the barrier disappear making it likely to bring in challengers

She spotted a Ditto coming up to her. "huh? a Ditto? what are you doing here little one?" she asked. It looked in her eyes and smiled.

"Di!" it cried releasing an egg from its gummy body. She was surprised to see this. She picked up the egg and felt on its shell. it was warm... ready to hatch.

Zoroark came back with dozens of Oran and Sitrus berries and dropped them in front of the weak Pokemon. They all ate happily, feeling much better.

Zoroark looked at Selena and rushed to the egg. He seems to be fond of it. "is this your egg Zo?" she asked. He nodded. She looked at ditto

"Breed..? Zoroark! We are going to have a baby zorua!" She squealed. He smiled at her silliness. She only showed real emotion to her Pokemon

"But I don't understand..." she calmed down "How did I not notice there was a Ditto here?" Ditto transformed into many different Pokemon and objects

"You're a sneaky little one, aren't you?" she smiled. She kneed if it's height. "Would you like to join our family?" the ditto transformed into a mirror image of Selena and hugged her happily. It was strange at first, but she hugged Ditto back anyways

Umbreon and vaporeon tried their best to place the extra berries in a basket

"You're getting really annoying, you know that?" Selena said to the air. Shadow appeared not too far from her, grinning

"How is it that you can tell I'm near?" he chuckled, placing his hand on his hip.

"Easy, I can feel annoying people"

"You're funny"

"Thanks, now leave, you are unwanted here"

"But your Zoroark is in the cities?" Her eyes widened angrily

"What do you want!?" She shouted. He teleported in front of her and lifted her chin with his index finger and thumb, making her blush. He's too close!

"You gotta be more open with people"

"Who are you to tell me what to do?!"

"You don't know who I am? but you seemed to know who lord N is, right?" she thought very hard on who he was, she knew his name was Shadow... Shadow..

"the Shadow Triad? You're one of the Shadow Triad?" she asked. He grinned. "well, who ever you are, leave, or I'll force you"

"How? in a battle? Dare to see if you can beat me?" he grinned.

"Bring it!"
