Chapter 5

Ash brought his recently new Egg to the rooftop, thinking the Egg might like some fresh air of its own. At night, the view of the city is spectacular, as the building lights twinkled like a vast amount of Volbeat and Illumise. With the bright lights, one could see to the garden below. Ash noticed a silhouette, black against the lights that shone endlessly in their region. The person seemed to sense Ash, and she turned, and beckoned him to come closer.

"You really should be getting some rest." Pakura said, as they watched some couples taking a walk, and probably whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears.

"I figured I take my Egg out for some fresh air. The night air's sweet, isn't it?" Ash replied.

Pakura nodded. "It's also a good place to reflect on things."

"Yeah." Ash agreed, and fell silent.

After a long silence, Pakura broke it. "Thinking about what?"

Ash shook his head. "More like how all of us have one thing in common. We have something dark happen to us that allowed us to become experienced killers without even thinking...except Rosaline, of course. Why did you let her in anyway? Even now in that she dead I still am curious."

'Of course, I didn't actually tell him what happened when Rosaline applied due to him being gone.' Pakura thought. 'Knowing his current personality, he'd flip if he finds out just what happened.'

"I'm not doubting your choice, Paku that she can be replaced later on." Ash said. "But Rosaline....she only kills when she was forced to. I have looked over the missions that she had completed, and she only kills when William specifically said kill. Other than that, even if they escaped, she try to chase and capture them alive. That is a warning sign that my brother mention"

"What?" Pakura was somewhat shocked and livid.

"I read her case files." Ash answered. "I sometimes get bored and read old stuff you know, for amusement."

'You really took after Shiki for that one.' Pakura thought.

"I think Rosaline thinks you're mad at her because she joined the Elite." Ash remarked.

"I'm not mad at her. I always hated her with a passion like you, why do you think I helped you set up Rosaline downfall/" Pakura sighed in exasperation.

"So why even let her in?" Ash asked.

"It's complicated to explain. The thing is, is that it should be one of the members of the Dragon Duo. At least they are much more competent in the Psychic part than Rosaline, and they are not born with Psychic powers. Not only that, their Dragon Mastery is undefeated, and they even had this region under their leadership, but they went missing." Pakura explained. "Then again, they fight as a duo, so maybe they would both be in the Elite Four, making it an Elite Five or something, but when they reach the Dragon Duo, it'd be a Double Battle remember you were once dragon duo"

"I agree,." Pakura replied, just as Ash's Egg glowed, signalling it was going to hatch.

"Hey, my Egg's going to hatch soon!" Ash looked at the grey Egg, somewhat excited. "I wonder what it is going to hatch into." Then, he stifled a yawn under his hand.

"Go to bed." said an undeceived Pakura as she kissed him. "Maybe it'll hatch tomorrow or something and i will be coming late."

"Well, see you tomorrow." Ash replied, as he left the rooftop.

Ash burrowed down under his covers, not even bothering to change into his nightclothes, and drifted off into dreamland.

Ash found himself in a place he recognized as the Dragon Shrine. Looking around, it looked like he was alone. There were ten adults who were performing some ritual involving something in a treasure chest, when a voice, seemingly outside, said, "Latias, Dragon Pulse." The door burst open, revealing a silhouette, who entered the Dragon Shrine, a Latias following him. Ash noted that it was Him with his Latias was wearing a Mega Stone.

"How dare you intrude on...?" A woman started, before she trailed off. "Do we know you?"

"Do you know me?" the voice mimicked the woman mockingly. "Maybe, maybe not. Should I even answer that?"

"You're intruding into Blackthorn City's sacred territory!" A man said, standing up as he readied his Pokéball. "Leave quietly, or we'll use force."

"I am here for something that rightfully belongs to PAL Region's Drákói City, which was stolen by your so-called famous Dragon Clan members." The boy said coldly.

"What thing?" Another man sneered. "That item is ours, and it always has been! It's been in our Dragon Clan for generations!"

"Yeah." Another woman backed the man. "And where did you get that Latias?" She demanded, wanting to catch one for herself. "Especially one that can Mega Evolve?"

"Not telling." The boy sounded bored.

"Well then, we'll just take that Latias from you by force, since a brat like you doesn't deserve owning her." Another man said greedily. "And maybe take your Key Stone as well."

"Not only are you filthy scum that ruins innocent people's lives for your own reputation, you are also big, fat liars and greedy pigs!" The boy spat. "Anyway, too bad you all won't last long. You're the last ones after all." The boy took out another Pokéball, and revealed a Latios (wearing a Mega Stone as well), which served to fuel their greed.

The adults themselves summoned their Dragon Pokémon, and commanded them to get the boy and her Pokémon.

"Latias, Latios, if you please." The boy said in a bored tone.

The Eon Duo easily beaten the adults Dragon Pokémon to a pulp. While the adults were staring in shock at their Pokémon, the silhouette took out a laser gun, and aimed the lasers at their chests. Three of them managed to avoid them in time.

"We need to contact Lance and Clair. They are the only ones who can-" The first one was cut off when his throat was slit by the boy with what seemed to be an Aura Sword that covered his hand- an aura

The second one gasped, but took out her Pokégear, but the boy burned the Pokégear and shattered it. The third one crawled under the table, cowering under the boy's frightening actions.

"Latias, Latios, use Psychic." The boy commanded, and the remaining two alive members lifted into the air. The boy walked up to the two of them, and made sure they looked into his eyes, which was hidden by his fringe.

"It's too bad it didn't occur to you that my sister was born with the gift. The gift to improve in Dragon training with every battle she get into. Surely you know that every generation, one member of the Dragon Clan is born with this gift?" The boy asked, sneering.

One of the members, who was a woman, nodded in fear.

The second one gasped. "Don't tell me that she was the one..."

The boy grinned. "Yes, in this generation, she got the gift, along with the enhanced intelligence that came with it. Lance and Clair won't be able to hold a candle to my big sis."

The woman groaned. "So no wonder their generation didn't seem to have anyone with that gift, because she already had it."

"Yes, you get it!" The boy said in a falsely cheerful tone. "Now, I hope you rot in the Distortion World, for ruining so many people's lives to keep your reputation as the pure Dragon Clan. But in reality, your blood is the filthiest of the filth." With that, boy ripped the woman's heart out with her own hand, and crushed the still beating heart, leaving the woman quivering and twitching on the ground when Latias released her Psychic. The other struggled against Latios' Psychic, and the boy proceeded to decapitate him.

"Good job, Latias, Latios." The boy praised, and they grunted in happiness at the praise, as he returned them.

The boy proceeded to take the treasure box and their Pokéballs, and escaped towards the edge of Blackthorn City.

"Let's see what I can do with my new ice powers." an aura surrounded him, and when he spread his arms, it started snowing all over Blackthorn, and the snow got harsher and harsher, until it became a blizzard with strong winds blowing. No one can hope to go out in this weather.

"For what they have done to me, my big brother, especially my big sister, they will suffer for eternity." The boy muttered, before teleporting away.

Ash opened his eyes, and panted. He dimly realized that there was a warm furball on his chest. He rubbed his eyes to see a small, bipedal, feline Pokémon. Its fur is mussed and a pale grey color with the exception of its ears, which are cream-rimmed and its paws, which have short cream socks. It also has a small, fluffy, slightly curled tail. When the furball opened its eyes, it was revealed to have wide, annular lilac eyes with darker purple pupils.

"Daddy!" The Espurr said cutely. Judging by the voice, Ash knew this Espurr was female.

"How did you get out of the Egg case?" Ash asked.

"Psychic!" Espurr said happily, and nuzzled her head against Ash's chest. "What shall we do today?"

"Espurr." Ash said exasperatedly. "It's only..." He checked the alarm clock next to him. "4:17a.m. But ok, we'll go outside and spend some time, but let me sleep after that."

Espurr nodded, as Ash brought her outside, only to also see Pakura there, reading. Pakura seemed to sense him, and turned, only for her attention to be directed to Espurr.

"Is that what was in your Egg?" Pakura asked, and Ash nodded.

"It hatched in the middle of the night while I was asleep." Ash replied, sitting on the couch, and getting a Pokénip Critter, which was something like a catnip, only for Pokémon. Espurr was busy batting away at the said toy, while Ash talked to Pakura about his dream.

" I remember destroying Blackthrown City,." Ash said. "It's the only logical explanation. I still have that Dragon Blade was stolen before it was returned to them by the Dragon Prince." Ash was discussing his thought.

"But the question is, why did he even disappear?" Pakura asked giving smile, watching the Espurr like she was some mildly interesting television program.

"That's I know and won't tell?" Ash gave a wry smile.

"Well, since we won our matches and have a break, we have a break tomorrow. Maybe we can do something together while we wait for the contest." Pakura suggested.

Ash nodded, as he noticed Espurr had gotten the Pokénip and was now gnawing on it. He hastily took it away from Espurr. "Too true. Well, goodnight Paku."

"'Night, Ash."

Ash woke up from his dreamless sleep, and brushed his teeth along with taking a hot shower. He decided to dress in a casual black shirt that had a picture of a DJ with headphones on and looked like he was rocking to some music beat, judging by the position of his hands on the large CDs and a pair of jeans.

Pakura studied the lighting for a moment, before taking out a Pokéball. It all happened when once cording

"Roserade, time to shine!" She sent out the Bouquet Pokémon. Pakura never used Roserade for Elite challenges, she was specifically used for Contests and Pokémon Showcases, just like Milotic and Cinccino, as they did not fit her type speciality in Elite challenges.

"Start things off with Petal Blizzard, and get inside to use Dazzling Gleam." Roserade released multiple shinning heart-shaped blue petals, and sent it upwards, so that Petal Blizzard would fall and surround her. She then used Dazzling Gleam, which made the Petal Blizzard shine.

"Now, use Energy Ball, followed by Aromatherapy." The Energy Ball absorbed the petals and it flew upwards, creating a trail of petals behind it, and Roserade released a fragrant green powder from the roses on her hands, which made the move even more beautiful as it made the Energy Ball and Petal Blizzard sparkle.

"Finish it with Shadow Ball, Petal Dance, and Magical Leaf, and make sure the two combinations intercept!" The Shadow Ball, surrounded by Petal Dance, and propelled by Magical Leaf, clashed with the first combination, and exploded into pink, blue and green sparkles that dazzled everyone. Although to Pakura it may be a small appeal, to the audience, it was better than the Appeals they seen even on the Grand Festivals.

Pakura returned her Roserade when the sparkles faded.

"That was exquisite!" Wallace was awestruck by the (to Pakura) small appeal. "If it was seen on a Grand Festival, it's get high marks in an instant!"

"Very unique." Fantina was nodding in approval. "Wallace, I look forward to tossing a coin to see who can give and exhibition match along with Princess Pakura."

"I'm sure both of us hope we'll be the lucky one." Wallace chuckled.

Eevee, who was still hiding, was spellbound by the small Appeal, and her interest in performing, preferably alongside Pakura and her Pokémon, just increased, and with that thought, she ran out to the stage to start her performance.

"Ok, the lighting's fine." Phillip noted, but he yelped as an Eevee came running up to the stage under the lights, and began firing Shadow Balls to the sky, and followed by a Swift. However, they fell back down, and exploded around Eevee causing smoke all over the stage.

Pakura grabbed Eevee before she could use another attack.

"What do you think of my performance?" Eevee asked cutely to her captor.

Pakura blinked. Why was her Eevee asking her opinion?

"I think she wants to perform as well." Pachirisu commented to Phillip.

Pakura looked at Eevee, and considered her, before saying shortly, "Can be improved."

Eevee's eyes sparkled at the comment, and nuzzled her. "Will you improve my performance?"

Pakura looked at her Eevee in disbelief, and then it dawned on her that she remember he same Eevee she dancing earlier. So Eevee had a dream of performing on stage one day, which supposedly makes her Eevee a good addition to her Pokémon Coordinator and Performer.

Before Pakura could answer, however, the audience filed in, causing her to carry the little Eevee to sit at the judges' table, much to her delight.

A few hours later, when Pakura promptly left as soon as the last Appeal was over, she was aware that her Eevee left early and hopped off the table and went to the tower

"Jude, Phillip, that's enough." Pakura said coldly, walking over to them. "I'll take it from here."

Jude and Phillip looked at her in relief, and promptly dropped May and Dawn to the ground, before joining the others.

As soon as they saw her, only May stormed up to her, as May started to jab in the chest, which Pakura stopped before her finger could even reach her chest. Pakura hated the fact that there was no space in between her breasts (due to the fact that she had a large bust), and if someone tries to jab her in the chest, they'd be poking her breasts, and one thing she hated was people touching her chest area.....well, Ash would be an exception.

"Can I help you?" Pakura asked coolly.

"Yes!" Dawn Said politely. "Why didn't you let May talk to Ash And why didn't May make it?"

"You mean besides the reason what happened 10 years ago and May peformance?" Pakura asked in a bored tone, and the girls flinched at the mention of the incident.

"Yes!" May nodded.

"Reasons are simple: You screwed up your performance May. I don't see how I should pity you and let you in while they are other more talented Coordinators who deserve those spots." Pakura made a show to check her perfect French manicure, which was a pale pink inlaid with gold glittery nail polish at the tip of her nails. "Besides, the performance you made isn't original."

"So what?" May yelled. "What matters in an Appeal is that it's beautiful, that's what Contests are about! I bet you were biased against me, aren't you?"

Dawn gasped as she realize May being a bitch and say" Don't do it May she Ash girlfriend." May ignore her

Pakura sighed. Was she listening to a word she said? She already gave two good reasons as to why she didn't let May in, and she just pounced on the second one. It's almost as if May didn't accept the fact that she messed up her own performance, and most likely thought she was the best. Thinking it is probably the best to clear out, she started walking away.

May however, weren't going to let the matter rest, and the former grabbed hold of the back of her necklace, which contained her Key Stone. Unfortunately, the force of which they grabbed it broke the chain, and her Key Stone fell to the ground.

Ash scowled at the fact that May dared to manhandle one of his Elites and destroy the chain containing her Mega Charm.

"I handle this." Ash said to Jude, promptly went over and slapped May hard on the left cheek. Before May could even react, Ash backhanded her again, sending her to the floor.

Dawn rushed over to help her friend,

Ash glared at May. "That was for destroying Paku's Mega Charm. How is she supposed to keep it on her person without being sure that she won't lose it? You May ought to be ashamed of yourself, blaming others of your own incompetency in the Contest Appeal, and even breaking one of my Elites Key Stone in retaliation she won't let you in."

That was when Wallace decided to step in.

" May, I'm embarrassed at the fact that I originate from the same region as you." Wallace said

"How could you both gang up against me?" May whimpered.

"No, how could you?" Ash shot back. "You certainly have no problem ganging up against Paku."

"Besides, she wasn't the only one that didn't want to let you in May, so why are you only blaming her for your failure of getting in? What is wrong with you?" Wallace added. "Why would you do something like that?"

Ash slowly shook his head. "That's low, May. Real low."

May looked down at the ground. Being admonished by one of the hottest guys that she hoped to attain is mortifying.

"But...I..." May stammered.

"I don't want to hear any more." Ash interrupted in a tone that made it clear why he was the PAL Champion and the regional prince, as he stared daggers at them. "I'd like you May to leave now."

At that point, there were tears running down May face, but Ash remained unmoved.

"Leave this...region?" May hiccupped.

"No." Ash looked heavenward for patience. "Not the region. My sight. Get out of here."

May looked, with a final stricken glance at Ash's direction, hurried away, in the direction of the ladies room. while dawn follows May to cheer her up

Ash watched them go dispassionately, before remarking, "Well, alright, her Key Stone is intact, but the necklace holding it is broken. May is paying for that. Are you alright, Paku?" He directed the last sentence to his Leader, whose expression couldn't be seen since she hung her head, and her fringe fell forward, thus shadowing her face.

Pakura, who had been picking up the broken piece of her necklace, including her Key Stone, nodded, as she slipped her Key Stone into her pocket.

After shopping With Pakura. Ash and Pakura head to Jude fashion show

What happened?" Jude asked, concerned. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the others accosting Aria and Siebold to the next door room where Elesa and Valerie was.

"A rabid girl's out there, demanding to see you, as she had to talk to you about something important." Jin babbled, pointing towards the door. "I said you were not accepting any meetings with fans, but she said she knows you."

"Doesn't everyone?" Ash asked dryly.

"No, she said she knows you more personally. Claimed to be close to you." Jin replied. "I tried to stop her, but she got physical on me."

"And you can't attack a girl." Akeno concluded, and Jin nodded.

"What a gentleman." Pakura said sarcastically. "How the heck do you kill female poachers like this in our region?"

As she finished this remark, a female shouted, "I can't wait outside like a peasant anymore!" The door was kicked open, revealing a girl around Jude's age. She had long strawberry blonde hair with deep blue eyes and a petite figure, and everyone had to admit this girl was rather pretty looking, and would probably attract a considerable amount of male attention. However, she was wearing slutty clothing that left nothing to the imagination. The girl was also clutching to an issue of Pokémon Affairs.

Jude gritted his teeth as he realized just who was standing in front of him.

"What are you doing here, Cafard?" Jude tried his best to keep his cool.

The girl pouted, trying to make herself look cute, but failed. "Jude, you know it's Lacey. I forgive you for running out on me all those years ago, and I allow you back in my life again."

She tried to approach Jude, but was held down by Ash's telekinesis. Jude was inwardly thankful for his friends.

"I certainly don't want you in my life." Jude sneered. "You used me for your own gain and then threw me under the bus all those years ago just to throw suspicion off yourself, and I'll never forgive you for that!"

"Jude, is she an ex...?" Akeno started, and Jude gave a curt nod.

"Hey, I came all the way here for you, and the least you could do is be grateful!" Lacey tried to keep her tone sweet, but was failing, as they heard the agitation. "I'm really sorry Jude, I realized my mistake." She widened her eyes to give off the innocent effect; however, no one was buying the poor-little-me act.

"I bet the reason you are saying this is because your family fortune has been spent, and your parents told you to marry someone rich. What is more, you have two illegitimate kids to take care of, right?" Ash pointed out. It was clear he had read her mind, and extracted the true information.

"That is not my business, is it?" Jude laughed, not in the nice way. "Karma is definitely a bitch. Seriously, I'm not going to take care of some illegitimate spawn of yours, since they're not conceived from me. Why don't you get your many boyfriends to help you, hmm?"

"Jude, you know that is because some of them dumped her as she cheated on them." Ash shook his head in disgust. "Others was because they are just as irresponsible as her, and did not want to admit the baby may be theirs when she found herself pregnant."

"I think he's too good for you now." Phillip said.

"No, I vowed to find him, and make him mine." Lacey stood her ground. "Besides, he's free for the taking since he's single. And we don't even need to try for a family, since I already have some." She smiled dreamily, which made Jude want to puke.

"I beg to differ." A female voice said. They all turned to see Elesa, who was wearing the first outfit of the modelling show- A stunning white top with a lace black skirt, complete with a hot pink jacket and white boots that nearly went up to her knees. Ash noted that her hair was totally different from what he had remembered back when he was travelling in Unova. Her hair was now black and is also much longer than her old style.

"Sorry, Jude is already taken." Elesa said to Lacey.

"You're a liar!" Lacey pointed to the beautiful Gym Leader. "Prove it!"

The others meanwhile were looking on amusedly when Elesa stepped in, watching the unfolding drama in entertainment.

All they were really missing was the popcorn.

"Very well." Elesa said, standing to face Jude. Jude gave a small nod, and Elesa grinned as he put his arm around her, dragged Elesa to him, and smashed his lips against hers. The others tried not to look surprised, as the two practically started making out in front of them just to prove themselves to Lacey. To make the performance more convincing, Elesa wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Ahem." Ash coughed, and they broke apart.

"See, Cafard?" Jude sneered. "My life is so much better without you in it, seeing I live in a luxurious place, fun friends, a loyal girlfriend who is way prettier than you are I might add, and I made a big name for myself here. You were a misfortune in my life, and I got over you a long time ago. There is no way I'd dump Elesa for you."

Lacey spluttered, and gave a chilling smile. "Jude, if I cannot have you...." Much to everyone's surprise, she took out a knife. "Nobody can!"

Akeno was about to intervene, but Pakura held an arm out, and shook her head. Lacey proceeded to charge towards them and raised her knife, when Jude shot out a hand, and grabbed her wrist tightly. Jude created a water bubble over Lacey's head, which lead her to choke and felt as if she was drowning.

Elesa was shocked at the fact that Jude had powers, and even more shocked when the others did not seem surprised or even fazed that Jude was killing someone. After a few minutes, Lacey fell to the ground, unmoving, and Jude removed the water bubble. He went over to check her pulse, before saying nonchalantly, "She's dead."

"We'll leave you two to talk." Pakura said, and gestured to the others to go to the other room. As the door closed, Jude sighed.

"Why did you suddenly enter the room? I told you not to." Jude shook his head. "Did you know those officers I killed all those years ago? It wasn't just a coincidence. I realized I really could manipulate water, so I fled. The Dragon Duo taught me to control my powers, in return for me to use my powers to help protect the region. The other four, they are just like me. That's why I wanted you to stay away." He gestured to the corpse in the room with them. "We are dangerous. I am dangerous."

Jude slumped down on his chair and cradled his head in his hands. "Just go, Elesa."

Instead of leaving, however, he heard Elesa draw up a chair, and sit down next to him.

"You know Jude." Elesa said quietly. "I always believed you are and always have been a good person. I believed, and knew there is always a reason behind your actions."

"I'm not the boy you met back then anymore, Elesa." Jude muttered.

"Of course you're not. But I believe you are still a person with good intentions." Elesa replied. "You know, when you left, I just wished day after day that we would meet again."

"Must have gotten a few laughs, considering how much our old colleagues would think we have a crush on each other." Jude said.

"Yeah, but they were wrong." Elesa answered.

"Obviously." Jude said dryly.

"I think....I realized I didn't just have a little crush on you." Elesa continued, looking at Jude. Jude noticed her eyes were the same colour blue as Siruis, the Dog Star. "I was in love with you. A lot in love with you. I didn't know how to handle it. I still don't, when we met again. I meant that kiss, you know. It wasn't a show to me...."

Jude looked at his old friend, remembering the times they spent together with other colleagues, where they made one another laugh with jokes (no matter how lame) or at each other's outfits they were supposed to model, going out for ice cream later or see the stars at night, telling their group of friends about their dreams.

Then when he started dating Lacey, sometimes he would spend time with her alone to ask for advice on dating. Whenever they part ways, Jude would sometimes watch her leave, as if he couldn't get enough of Elesa.

Elesa. He almost forgot about her when he left for the PAL region, never bothered contacting her, and felt the regret hitting him like a gunshot to the chest.

Arceus. He must be the stupidest guy on the entire planet.

"Did you really just say you are in love with me?" Jude asked Elesa.

Elesa bit her lip, and said, "I guess I did."

And that was when Jude kissed Elesa.

THUD!

Ash sat up, panting as Pakura wasn't sleeping on his chest worried him as Ash frowned, and opened the door, only to see three girls sprawled on the floor along the corridors. The bewilderment was evident on Ash's face as he recognised those girls as the traitors. Misty, May, Iris, and Dawn... What are they doing here? Well, no matter. He needed to knock them out

"Leafeon come on out." Ash said as Leafeon came out with a small yawn

"Leafeon, Sleep Powder!" Leafeon obliged, and let sleeping powder above the girls and blue, shining powder is released from them, instantly putting the girls to sleep.

A Croagunk was standing over them, remarking, "You know, if it wasn't for the fact that I had to help Ash make sure Brock never gets a girlfriend, I would've gone to him a long time ago."

Ash recognized this to be Brock's Croagunk, and judging by his aura flow, Ash knew he wasn't lying. He smirked, as he got an idea.

"So, Croagunk." Croagunk turned to him, and his eyes lit up in recognition. "How about helping us keep an eye on these traitors and keeping us informed?"

Croagunk thought for a split second, before nodding. "Definitely, Ash."

"Go back to Brock for now, alright?" Ash said. "Watch them for me."

Croagunk nodded again, as Ash decided to teleport the girls and Croagunk back to their rooms for now. A blue glow surrounded all five, before disappearing.

A male voice cried out from the living room, and Ash turned to the source of the noise. Ash wondered who it could be, since it didn't sound like Jude or Phillip.

He walked to the living room, when he saw a man was being strung up by his ankles, having stepped into the trap that one of his Elites had apparently strung up. Pakura was sitting at the couch giving the man a patronising look. Judging by the fact that the man had his eyes closed, it's most likely Pakura knocked him out while he was still stuck in the trap.

"What are you doing up again?" Ash was puzzled. Why does she keep staying up late?

"Right back at you." Pakura retorted.

"I had another weird dream via one of my abilities again." Ash answered.

"Well, never mind that now." She replied, pointing to the man strung up. "This person snuck into our quarters via the elevator, and when he saw me, tried to get close to me, only to be strung up by his ankles by the trap I set. I didn't take those girls seriously when I overheard them in the toilet about their plan to take back Manaphy because of their stupidity, so I didn't say anything to the other Elites, and only set this one trap, but it looked like they had meant business, and actually came prepared."

Ash's face darkened. "You mean the traitors actually tried to sneak in our quarters?" Ash hissed, angry. "And Misty used her Gym Leader status to enter and brought a guy in to molest you?"

"I don't see what the big deal is." Pakura waved dismissively at her boyfriend not getting the point.

"Of course it's a big deal! It means they are starting to take action!" Ash ran a hand over his hair in frustration. They are a bigger nuisance than he thought. Well, no matter. He'll just crush them in the tournament. "And why was a man in her for you?"

Pakura shot him a sarcastic look, and Ash remembered.

"Oh yeah...you're considered the hottest and most beautiful girl in the region." Ash mumbled.

"And thus I attract a lot of guys, but I am already taken" Pakura concluded with a smirk and a wink making Ash blushed deep red as she giggled and .

"Even the other regional male Gym Leaders, Elite Fours and Champions can't take their eyes off you." Ash said. "Ok, maybe except Lance, since you insulted and punch him yesterday"

"What should we do to him?" Pakura asked.

Ash examined the man, and vaguely recognize him as a rookie trainer from one of the other regions.

"It's not as if he'll make it to the Top 128 anyway, so bring him down and tie him up with another rope. Place him at the stairwell where someone can see him, and leave a note to whoever finds him to arrest him. I want him to suffer from being tied all night first." He doesn't tolerate men who only thought of girls as a sex object like this man, especially when the girl in question is his girlfriend, who seemed to be a pervert magnet.

Pakura brought the man down, and tied him up with another rope, before dragging him none too gently towards the stairwell.

"Ash, should I leave him outside the stairwell or drag him down one flight?" Pakura asked.

Ash shrugged. "See as you deem fit."

"Alright." She held the man by the ropes at the edge of the stairs, and let go. Ash could hear him thumping down the stairs.

"Typical." Ash muttered, as Pakura returned, dusting her hands as he smirked as he did something

SLAP

"eeep ASH!!!!" Pakura said blushing as Ash had just spanked her as if nothing

"Come on let go to bed." Ash said as Pakura lifted her arms as he lifted her up letting her snuggle into his arms as he gave a smile as she drifted off into sleep as he carried her

-------------

"Why don't you take her shopping she always likes to go with you." Lucario suggest as Ash thought about it

"Lucario, you're a genius!" Ash exclaimed.

"Hate to admit it, but that makes sense." Espeon nodded.

"There you are, Ash!" Dawn shouted out. Ash sighed, as he recognized the voice. Espeon's growled, ready to attack at Ash's command.

"How may I help you, girls?" Ash asked sarcastically.

"Yes, you can. Hand over Manaphy." May demanded as Ash had given .

"For the last time, I did not poach Manaphy." Ash sighed. When would this get in their head?

"Yes, you did Ash! Manaphy was supposed to be at Samiya, but he's now under your ownership!" Misty accused.

"I can very well charge all three of you of you for trying to steal my Pokémon this morning, so you better back down. Also Iris stand down even if you didn't get involved I will make sure you never do this again." Ash warned.

"Yeah, and one more word, you'll be treated to a Psybeam, max power!" Espeon hissed.

"Don't forget my Aura Sphere." Lucario growled.

"It isn't stealing when you're trying to rescue a Pokémon!" Iris added harshly, as she took out a Pokéball along with the other four girls. They threw their Pokéballs, and out came Dragonite, Mamoswine, Gyarados, and Venusaur.

Before Ash could react, four of his Pokéballs opened, and out came Mew, Shaymin, Manaphy and Meloetta. When the girls saw Manaphy, they started towards him, but was held down by Mew's Psychic.

"I won't let you attack our friend!" Mew hissed as Ash smirked coldly seeing the fear in the girls

"You arrogant humans need to be taught a lesson." Meloetta added.

"Yeah, you're only deluding yourself if you think we don't want Ash as our trainer." Shaymin said.

"I'll protect Daddy!" Manaphy declared.

The girls gasped as they recognized the Legendaries they had met while traveling with Ash.

"I don't even need to tell you which moves to use now, so just give them what they deserve." Ash commanded.

Mew used Thunderbolt on Gyarados, Shaymin used Energy Ball on Mamoswine, Meloetta used Relic Song, followed by Close Combat on Dragonite, and Manaphy charged an Ice Beam at Venusaur. The attacks hit their respective targets, sending them flying and hitting a tree, before sliding down. They now had swirls for eyes.

"You bastard!" May screamed.

That was when Espeon decided to unleash his psybeam.

"Take this!" He screamed, shocking the girls with his best Psybeam. While they were shocked, Lucario decided to fire Aura Spheres at them, which hit them with a lot of force.

"Manaphy, want to say something to your so-called 'mama'?" Ash asked.

Manaphy nodded, and glared at May, as she made eye contact with him.

"I hate you, May!" Manaphy declared, which broke her heart.

"Great job, all of you. Your power has astounded me." Ash praised, as he offered them all Poképuffs, which they happily accepted.

"I think it's been one eventful walk. Let's go, guys." Ash turned and walked back to the Tower, intend on going up to the Tower to change and take Pakura out to town, his Pokémon following behind him.

Once he was out of sight of the girls, he made a call to the Hunter's Association Headquarters. He already crushed one of them in the battle, and Jude had made sure she, along with her partner, never made it to the Top 16 anyway.

Ash grimaced. Let's see if they would learn their lesson with Misty as an example. He doesn't need them to side-track him when there are mysterious things going on that may endanger his region, and more importantly, his friends.

If they don't, he'll make sure they fall, one by one. And he's not talking about just defeating them in battle.

------------

"What do you think, Ash?" Pakura came out of the dressing room wearing a ruffle neck black cocktail dress. Ash took her to the city part of the PAL region, just as he promised. Pakura had asked if it's ok to just go in public like that, but Ash said that PAL locals know how to leave people alone, unlike the other regional people.

Pakura was immediately taken to the clothing they sold, and dragged Ash to the first one she saw.

Ash looked up. The hem just reached her knees, and Ash could truthfully say that she looked amazing. He decided to give her his honest opinion.

"You look amazing,Pakura" Ash said with a smile

"Then, what do you think of this one?" Pakura came out in a white strapless dress with a rose attached on the left side of her waist.

"You definitely look beautiful." Ash replied truthfully.

Pakura gave a sly smile. "Are you sure you're not just flattering me?"

"Pakura, if I gave you my honest opinion about the black dress, would I lie this time?" Ash answered just as playfully.

"Hmm....I think I want to try on more dresses." Pakura declared.

"Alright, take your time. If you're done, pass the clothes you want to me, and I'll purchase it for you." Ash said

Normally, this is one of men's main woes when it comes to shopping with their girlfriends. The girls trying on clothes is simply exasperating, as the men just sat there and waited, wishing that they could just pick a dress already. But not for Ash, because he isn't an ordinary guy, and considering he had to live under a same roof with a male supermodel for nearly four years (which meant Jude actually made them change their outfits when he felt that it isn't good enough to go out to public), he was pretty used to the clothes thing, and learnt to have patience when it comes to others trying on clothes.

Pakura came out wearing a sweetheart lemonade dress, which Ash thought matches her hair, and while it accentuated her figure, it didn't look good on her. Ash shook his head indicating it didn't look nice.

"How do you instantly form opinions like that?" Pakura asked, as she came out in a sweetheart smocked pink dress that made her look younger than she actually is, almost as if she's a teenager instead of a 21-year-old adult.

"I lived with a supermodel for nearly eight years, Pakura before I meet you Jude was the one who picked out my clothes." Ash replied.

"Ah, I see. I just imagine Amethyst face seeing her baby brother covered in fancy clothes" Pakura laughed. She grabbed the clothes that she wanted, and passed them to Ash. "Can we go to the other clothing shops after this?"

"Sure." Ash said smiling

"See you again, Champion Ash!" the salesgirl giggled, as they left.

"I'll teleport these back to my room." Ash announced, holding the bags that contained Pakura's clothing. "That way, you can keep shopping."

Pakura nodded, as a blue glow as they continue shopping

_____

Ash smiled, as he popped another piece of dragon roll into his mouth. "If you want, I can take you to some other shops next time we go out."

"That'll be great, Ash!" Pakura said

"Anything for you." Ash replied kissing her cheek

Just then, the TV turned to a news broadcast.

It was live footage outside the Tower where the Gym Leaders, Elite Fours and Champions reside. A female reporter was standing outside, where she gravely reported that a male intruder had been found at the stairwell between the 11th and 12th floor. At the background, there were people carrying a man away to a car, as he appeared injured, and Pakura recognized him as the man that she caught via a trap last night.

"Earlier today, a man has been found tied up and gagged in between the 11th and 12th floor. He found by none other than Elite Shauntal, who entered the stairwell to get to the rooftop. Elite Shauntal, your statement please." The reporter held the mic to Shauntal's face.

"I was on my way to the rooftop, you see I like to go there to get some ideas for a new story, but when I got halfway to the 12th floor where the PAL Elites reside, I found an injured man tied up and gagged." Shauntal said. "There was a note saying to arrest him if he was found, so I reported it to the receptionist at the lobby, who in turn called the authorities."

"I see. Thank you Shauntal. According to Phillip Robinson, third member of the PAL Elite, and the Elite's genius, the man wasn't a Gym Leader, Elite Four, or Champion, so why would he be found there in the first place?" The reporter asked the questions that everyone probably had in their minds. "Any words to say, Phillip?" She shoved the mic in Phillip's face, eager to get a statement, but Phillip stepped away.

"Well, I cannot say I know exactly why he's there, but I suspect he snuck in to meet one of his favorite Elites or Champions up close. Judging by the fact that he was found between the 11th floor and 12th floor, I deduce that it's one of us. If I were to guess who, it's most likely Pakura. After all, she's very popular with the entire male population. Some being upset that she taken by the champion" Phillip said, looking at Jude instead of the camera.

"And you, Jude?" The reporter asked gently, as the cameras now trained on Jude.

"This actually comes as a shock that someone would dare trespass in private property. This Tower is designed for us to relax, and no fans or reporters could get in. While no one but Gym Leaders, Elite Fours, and Champions are allowed in, people are allowed to go in as long as any of them invites them in. Judging by this rule, I suspect someone of those following three positions might have let this man in, thus from now on, we will tighten the security. Only the residents of the Tower may invite anyone in, as we know some opted out of the Tower rooms." Jude said firmly.

"And what would be the procedures?" The reporter asked kindly. Now matter what Pakura privately admitted that the journalists and reporters from PAL are much gentler, and kinder than the ones in the other regions, who would just shove the mics in your faces and take pictures without permission.

"We will only allow non-residents invited by the current residents into the Tower until 10pm, and the ones invited must register at the counter at the lobby of the Tower. Furthermore, they must provide information on who invited them, confirmed by a signature of the resident inviting them in, and they must provide a detailed itinerary of exactly what they plan to do in the Tower, and which floors are they going to be at, besides showing two pieces of photo ID to the receptionist to photocopy before we'll allow them to go up the elevators." Phillip replied. "And if there are invited non-residents, one of the PAL Elite must be in the surveillance room to turn on the surveillance cameras of the floor the guests are going to be at to make sure nothing funny happens." Ash knew that Phillip designed this procedure himself, if not why else would he provide such a long explanation without pausing?

The reporter then turned back to the cameras. "The Champion and Leader are unavailable for comment, as neither of them were in the Tower at the time of the discovery. The man is taken into custody for a statement, and depending on his statement, we will leave it up to Prince Ash or Princess Pakura to give the orders."

"Do you think they'll be arrested?" Pakura asked wanting to know as she grabbed Ash arm squeezing his hand.

Ash's face darkened. "I won't charge them yet for trying to steal my Manaphy, because I want to exact revenge myself. I'm not going to play nice anymore. Plus for you I charged Misty" He offered the extra piece of crispy salmon to Pakura, which Pakura thought the gesture was sweet, as she knew he wanted it, but still gave it to her.

"I see, but I was hoping for all of them" Pakura remarked, as she ate the piece of crispy salmon skin.

May clicked off the TV after watching the broadcast, fear written all over her face except for Dawn.

"Do you know what this means you three?" Dawn whispered.

The girls looked at one another in apprehension. What's going to happen now?

"Hey, your food is here!" Max announced, as he brought the tray of sandwiches, while Gary was carrying the soup. Brock and Cilan were carrying the drinks and cups.

"We picked up some ice, too." Cilan said. "I figured you might like your drinks cold." Seeing the looks on the girls' faces, he asked, "What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing much." Iris replied. "Thanks, guys."

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Max got up, and opened it. Outside stood two officers, one man and one woman. They are wearing casual, but by the emblem of the badge they are wearing indicated that they are from the Hunter's Association.

"Which one of you is Misty Waterflower?" The woman asked.

"I am." Misty replied. "Is something wrong?"

The man held up a pair of handcuffs. "Yes. Misty Waterflower, you're under arrest."

"What? You can't just come in and arrest her as you please!" Max shouted, blocking the man's way to Misty.

"Yes, we can, especially if it's under the Prince's orders." The woman replied calmly. "Now step aside, or we'll charge you for helping a criminal."

"She's not a criminal!" Iris shouted. "She's helping us rescue a Pokémon!"

"Yeah, so I didn't do anything wrong!" Misty added. "Who does the Prince think he is arresting me like that? Do you know who I am?"

"Maybe so, but an order is an order, and I must take her into custody." The man replied.

"I can sense the bitter taste of saying goodbye." Cilan sighed. That earned him a few knocks on the head, courtesy of Gary, Iris, and Dawn.

"We're not handing our friend over." Iris declared.

The woman, seeing that they were about to take out their Pokéballs and attack (in Misty's case, she's taking out her mallet and trying to hit the woman), took out her Pokéball quickly, threw it and said, "Chimecho, Psychic!" Chimecho appeared, and its eyes glow blue, then the traitors became outlined in blue and they were lifted into the air, immobilizing them as Pikachu charged a thunderbolt but feel asleep after Bayleef was sent out and used sleep powder

"Nice reflexes, Kendra." The man said appreciatively, as he snatched Misty's mallet out of her arms.

"Thanks." Kendra replied.

"You can't do this!" May screamed.

Kendra sighed. "They just won't stop, would they?"

The man shrugged, as he handcuffed Misty's immobilized arms, and nodded to Chimecho to let her go. Chimecho obeyed, and both of them grabbed her on each of her upper arms. Not in the nice "Come on" kind of way of course, but in a "You're busted and you're coming with me, young lady." which is very true in this case. Misty had to admit that she was scared of what was to come, but she still kicked and screamed for them to let her go, trying to break free of their grip.

The pair dragged the screaming banshee out of the Pokémon Center, where a third person was waiting with his Gardevoir. The others followed them out of the Pokémon Center, screaming Misty's name, promises to help her get revenge, and to get her out of prison as soon as they can.

"Let go of me!" Misty shouted, struggling against the tight grips of the pair, but to no avail, seeing as they are much stronger than she is. "I said let go, I'm telling you! I'm a Gym Leader, and my sisters are world famous performers! They will hear about this, and they will release me!" She was making such a spectacle of herself that a few who were in the vicinity of the area stopped whatever they are doing to stare at the scene with wide eyes. Ash Some of the PAL reporters were quietly filming this live, and others were writing what they saw happen. They were whispering to themselves, and exchanging puzzled looks as to whether Misty knew how much trouble she was in with Champion , seeing as he had ordered her arrest, and also, PAL technically had power over the other regions, seeing as they are the ones who support the other five regions as well, so not even the regional Champions can do anything about his decision. Soon, the pair finally got Misty to the owner of the Gardevoir, and the third person ordered the Gardevoir to use teleport. Soon, they vanished, presumably to Hunter's Association Headquarters.

Unbeknownst to them, a pair of people were standing at the edge of the forest watching the scene.

"What's going on?" Akeno asked Lance.

"Misty is being arrested for bringing that intruder in, I presume." Lance replied.

Seeing Akeno puzzled look, he went on to explain. "This morning, an injured man has been found tied up and gagged in between the 11th and 12th floor of our Tower. There was a note saying to arrest him if found, so they did. Misty was arrested most likely because she let him in the Tower."

"Did the reporter say why they would break in cause I have been helping you date Cynthia?" Akeno tilted her head looking at her old best friend.

"No, but Phillip speculated that he snuck in to meet one of the PAL Elites, since he was found between the 11th floor and 12th floor. He thinks it's Pakura he's trying to meet, since she's very popular among the males."

Akeno made a thoughtful noise in her throat. "Her friends are pretty upset." She commented, and pointed to the group of traitors who were looking around as if they were at a loss of what to do. Lance's frown deepened by a fraction as he saw Brock, May and Max, but Akeno merely looked curious. Akeno made brief eye contact with May. May narrowed her eyes at her, and stomped towards her. Her friends followed, wondering what she saw.

"You!" May screamed at Akeno. Akeno gave her a bewildered look. "How dare you champion put our friend in jail? Have you no shame!"

Before the Akeno could do anything, Lance stood in front of her.

"That's enough, May." He quelled the urge to scream at them for what they did to Ash, and tried to subdue the anger he felt just by talking to them. "She didn't order the arrest, I can vouch for her."

"Wait...so that means Ash was the one?" Gary asked.

Lance nodded, praying that it is the truth and Akeno wasn't the one who ordered the arrest.

"I know! Lance, could you please talk to Champion Ash and get him to show leniency to her? After all, she's a foreign guest here." Brock pleaded.

Lance shook his head. "No, if she did something wrong she should be punished for it."

"But she didn't do anything wrong!" Dawn protested.

Iris turned to glare at Akeno. "Hey, could you go and release Misty from the prison? She didn't do anything wrong" Iris requested rudely.

Akeno gulped, but composed herself. "Well, I would, if it weren't for your rudeness."

"You..." Iris went to give her a punch, but Cilan restrained her.

"Iris, we're already in big trouble as it is. Do you want to be charged for assaulting a PAL Elite?" Cilan hissed at Iris.

"But Cilan, she's refusing to release Misty! She didn't do anything wrong!" Iris protested, struggling against Cilan's grip.

"Come on, let's go while they're distracted." Akeno whispered to Lance, who nodded, and quickly escaped the scene.

Ash was listening to this song and he felt he remember this somewhere

https://youtu.be/E3x_dLVTEuA

18 years Old Ash sat upright on the bed, staring up at the ceiling. His expression seemed more lucid than when He tried to wake home, but when the door quietly opened, his eyes narrowed in alarm as he turned towards the door, then became confused. Akeno crossed the room tentatively, but as she neared him she broke into a smile. "Ash? It's Akeno. Remember me?"

"Akeno what are you doing here. I thought your are still hunting down the corrupt mayor in Virdian City." Ash asked

"Yes I was until this happened." Akeno said with obvious relief. "How do you feel?"

"Awful. Where are we? What happened?" Ash sounded genuinely confused.

"Well...we're in the PAL General Hospital." Akeno replied.

"Look. I need to get out of here please. Can you go ask if I can go home" Ash asked as Akeno nodded walking away as Ash went invisible

Couple Minutes passed bye as Pakura chased Ash while being invisible while Ash dropped his why was he running because he was trying to escape and find his siblings as he was near the forest he sensed Pakura

'She did have the ability to turn invisible and conceal her aura.' Ash thought, running straight in the direction he had chosen to head. 'I have to make her she doesn't follow me before it's too late. Here goes nothing.' Ash concentrated his aura, forming it in a perfect circle. He sense movement and threw a knife, but it was being slowed down with telekinesis and caught. The knife disappeared, and Ash knew that Pakura was there.

"Paku, I know you're there. Don't make me run faster. I just want to leave," Ash sighed.

Silence, and Pakura walked towards him, "Hello, Ash." She said in a worried tone.

"Paku, what are you doing?" Ash folded his arms as he began to back away little from her as she kept walking forward.

"Getting you back into your room? What are you doing out of your room? You were injuried from the attacks from Team Flare." Pakura sounded humorless looking more concern at Ash.

"I am fine, I am not sick, I do not need to rest." Ash said turning around to run only to be tackled by Pakura as they rolled to the grass

"I warned you Ash. I am sorry but this for your own good." Pakura said as she cuffed Ash's right hand with aura handcuffs that is tied to her left hand as Ash looked at her eyes as his heart began beating as Pakura looked as she realized the position that she is as she blushed as she was on top of her crush as Ash then quickly kissed her shocking Pakura
