Before we get into this, I wrote this in my review for "AwkwardHandHoldingShipping," aka Gary's & Paul's hand. I meant to post it in here, but I totally spaced on it for a bit. It's a short fluffy scene, nothing too much.

The playboy brunette outstretches his hand towards the plumhead, who surprisingly grabs it. Gary helped him up and they walk off towards the golden sunset with Electavire following behind.

The setting sun outlines their toned structures as they walk across the grassy hill, secretly admiring both the view and their comrade. A light rosy pink barely dusts Paul's cheeks, spreading over the bridge of his nose with tightly pressed lips forming a thin line. Gary glances over, a cocky smirk forming with his lips.

"So Sinnoh Champion, I could teach you more things than just about Pokémon research." He says over his shoulder, a glint in his eye as he winks.

Both heartbeats race twice as fast from the static touch between their hands, the researchers right hand barely squeezing the Champions left hand. Rusty onyx eyes matched with glimmering emerald eyes, locks of hair tussling in front of their structured faces.

Paul lowly harrumphs. "Hmph, I'll decide after a one on one battle, your Electavire versus mine."

"That's a shot I'll take, champ." A barely noticeable smile appeared on Paul's face for half of a second, the very corners of his lips curling upwards as they both walked to opposite sides.

Paul silently motioned Electavire to take his stance, a cocky smirk visible on his face.

Gary pulled out a pokeball, kissing it lightly before throwing it out, matchmaking a smirk of his own against the strong trainer.

The scene was picturesque, with the light summer breeze flowing by with cherry blossom petals dancing in the air.

Paul stuffed his hands in his pockets, his foot shifting slightly. "Use brick break."

The battle began with a bang, neither young man giving an inch. The glint in their piercing, competitive eyes were different than normal, full of excitement. The feeling of their hands together still lingered on one another as they continued to strategically battle.
