The brunette sat on the bench, her nose buried deep into her book. She did not notice her surroundings. Not even the brunette, spikey haired boy who had walked up towards her, watching her intently, seeing if she were to notice him.

"Oh Leafyyyy," Gary called to the girl, with a smirk on his face.

Seeing his first attempt had failed, he tried again by sitting down next to her, and continuously clearing his throat.

Still, she focused on her book, and her book only.

Gary Oak would not give up though, for it was not in his nature. He scooted closer and whispered in her ear.

"Whatchya reading, Leaf?"

Her hand instantly flung up and hit him in the face. He let out a yelp, and placed a hand over the stinging part of his cheek.

He knew what he would have to do next. Again, he moved closer and pushed her book down.

Leaf looked up at him, slightly confused, and partially irritated. His face was only inches from hers,

Gary studied her face, as she stared deep into his eyes. Her cheeks began flushing as Gary did his signature smirk, yet again.

"What do you want, Oak?" Leaf's voice was a little hoarse, and shaky. But he still found it adorable.

"This..." Gary said as he leaned in and kissed Leaf softly, yet passionately.

He pulled away, studying her expression. Was it satisfied? Nervous?

He didn't have time to pinpoint it before Leaf kissed him again. He felt himself melt into her kiss.

This time she broke away first, "Now go away, Oak, I want to finish my book." She said with a playful smirk tugging at her lips.

Gary walked away from Leaf, slowly, smiling non-stop, he could not believe he finally kissed the girl he truly wanted.
