This is a fluffy but kind of angsty Firstfriendshipping oneshot where has to go out and save Pikachu in a storm but Goh insists on helping to save it too

This oneshot is based off of the lyrics of the song With You, the opening theme song of Pokemon Ultimate Journeys

Goh's POV:

One day, me and Ash heard about a forest with lots of cool Pokémon there so we decided to go. We were having so much fun catching and battling Pokémon but then Team Rocket showed up.

They were trying to steal Pikachu so Ash challenged them to s battle. Usually I would sit out battles, but I thought about how he's always been by my side so I should do the same for him.

We managed to beat them but as Pikachu send them flying into the sky, it accidentally flung itself away from how strong its Thunderbolt. As it crashed down, a storm started.

Lightning strikes appeared and the sky turned a dark shade of blue.

Ash told me to turn back, but I wanted to stay with him. Whether it was rain or shine, I wouldn't let anything break us apart. So with that, we went looking for Pikachu together.

We called out its name and it kept on calling back so we managed to figure out where it was. I found Pikachu in a bush so I picked it out and gave it back to Ash.

He thanked me and we then headed back home. We did have to dodge lightning strikes as we were running down the road, but the journey back was definitely the best part.

"I'm glad I stayed with you!" I told him as we finally arrived back at Cerise Laboratory, and then I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
