Helping You Out Of Your Comfort Zone... Again (Jellowshipping)

A fluffy Jellowshipping oneshot where Lillie is afraid to touch pokémon again after the reunion with Sivally, but Mallow is there to help her once again.

Kinda like a rewrite of Mission: Total Recall but with Jellowshipping, I guess

Mallow's POV:

Lillie hasn't really been acting herself recently, and this has really worried me. She's been really avoidant of Snowy and all of the pokémon, which isn't like her, especially that she isn't even touching her partner pokémon.

And now when I tried to organise little day trips for us to go on together, she asks me not to bring Steenee and that we don't go to a place with pokémon nearby, which is so odd.

I had tried to ask her about it a few times, but she would always brush past the question by starting a new topic. I then asked Ash about it, and he said Gladion had arrived at his house earlier that day and was shouting about how Lillie was afraid of pokémon again.

This made me upset since we only recently cured her fear of pokémon, and now it had spiked back up again like a weed in a field. But, it just means I'll have to help her again, which isn't a big problem.

So after school, I walked up to Lillie.

"Hi Lillie, are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine! Don't worry about me because there is nothing to worry about, hahaha..." She replied and then started laughing nervously.

This started to annoy Snowy, who was nearby, so she ran over to her trainer and then started nuzzling into her leg. This spooked poor Lillie, and she jumped up in fright, wrapping her arms around and clinging on for dear life.

"You sure?" I asked with a smug sile on my face.

"Uhhhh, I guess I'm not okay..." She admitted, blushing with embarrassment.

She's so cute, I could help but smile.

"Why don't we go to a shop nearby and talk about it?" I suggested.

"That would be nice!" Lillie replied, beaming up at me.

I helped her up, and then we walked off of the school premises. As we were walking through Hau'oli City, we found a malasada shop and went inside. And we fid this all while holding hands as we did.

I really like Lillie, and she likes me back. We, for some reason, aren't in a relationship yet, but I know now wouldn't be the right time to ask, but we still do couple stuff anyway.

I bought us both a big malasada and then we found a bench nearby to sit on. After taking a big bite, the blonde haired girl beside me started to relax, despite the fact her partner pokémon that she was now scared of was beside her.

"Thank you so much, Mallow!" Lillie said, smiling.

I started blushing and then smiled back.

"Oh, no problem!" I chuckled, "But, are you ready to talk about the problem with me?"

"I guess so," She mumbled.

The girl took a deep breath and then began to explain,

"So yesterday, we were all together and heading back home from the sleepover, but then I was holding Nebby and thought about seeing Gladion, then it teleported me there," Lillie explained, "But then when I got there, a pokémon ran up to me, the one who started off my fear in the first place..."

"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" I said, "Do you know what pokémon it was?"

"I think it is called a Sivally, but then again, not all of my memories have fully come back yet..." She replied.

I wasn't really quite sure what to say next. If I suggested something we could do now that related to what her and Snowy did for her to be able to touch it the first time, she would find out that me and Ash had been spying on her back then.

What was I to do?

"Hey, why don't we go on a little walk down the path?" I suggested.

"That would be a great way to take my mind off of everything, so sure!" Lillie agreed.

We got up and then interlocked hands before skipping down the street. As we did so, Snowy kept on trying to join but kept on tripping over and nudging its trainer, as I had planned. But what I didn't plan was for her to squeeze my hand harder and harder each time!

At one point, the Fox Pokémon completely forgot about her trainer's fear and jumped up into her hands. Lillie had to let go of me to catch her, but as soon as she did, I could just tell that she desperately wanted to be wrapped around me tightly.

"It's okay, just pet her!" I suggested, patting the girl on the shoulder.

As I did so, it started to calm her down, and she wasn't really that scared anymore. I even saw a smile on her face as she began to hug Snowy.

"Even though it has been only a day, I have missed this!" She exclaimed, "Could you let out your Steenee, please?"

I nodded and threw my poké ball. Steenee jumped out and at first was nervous to be around Lillie since she didn't want to scare her, but once the blonde haired girl let put her hand and let her know she wasn't scared anymore, she jumped right into the hug.

Once all of this over, the girl looked up to me with a smile and a blush. Both of our emerald green eyes were locked on each other, and we couldn't pull away from it.

"Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone and helping me!" She said, beaming up at me.

"No problem!" I responded.

I helped her up, and the next moment was awkward, as none of knew if we should make a move or not. She just cured her fear of pokémon, I'd now the right time to express how I feel for her?

It was too late by that point, as Lillie had gone with her heart and pulled in, kissing me. I was so shocked, she's just turned from a shy to confident so quickly, it's unbelievable!

"So, would you like to continue the walk?" She then asked.

"Yeah, s-sure!" I stuttered.

The two of us then interlocked hands once more and walked off into the distance, our pokémon following behind us.

I think if I continue to make daily chapters, the quality is just going to get worse and worse so I'm marking this as the point I stop and start having little gaps in between because I don't want people's actual requests to be ruined by my tiredness
