Chloe's POV:

Ever since me and Dawn started dating, we have tried to see each other as much as possible. Me living in Kanto, and her living in Sinnoh makes it difficult, but we always find some way to make it work.

So today, I arranged for her to come over to Cerise Laboratory for a sleepover, and specifically there instead of my house, because she can have a catch-up with her former travelling companion (Ash) too.

It took a few hours for her airplane to get to Kanto, but I still waited patiently in the airport regardless. We had a little kiss when I saw her again, and then we got a taxi to Vermilion City.

When we arrived at the lab, we were immediately greeted by Ash and Goh at the doorstep, which was nice because they originally told me they weren't going to bothered to greet us once we got back.

"Hi Dawn and Chloe!" Ash called, waving with a grin spread across his face.

Dawn charged towards him and gave him a big hug. It made me smile how well they got along since a lot of friendships aren't as innocent as those two are.

We got inside and out of the cold as soon as we could. The two of us took off our shoes by the stairs and entered the kitchen, holding hands as we did.

But as soon as we tried to sit down next to each other at the table, Ash slipped into the seat I was going to sit on.

"Could you move, please?" I asked.

"What's the problem?" He asked, a smug grin plastered on his face.

"Yeah, Ash, stop being annoying and just sit next to your boyfriend, Goh!" Dawn yelled.

I looked over to see that Goh's face went red with embarrassment. So when Ash declined that still, he crossed his arms and pouted, as if a plan they had been plotting had failed.

Anyway, Ash still refused to move, so I just had to had to sit next to Goh instead. I mean, we are pretty good friends now, but I was especially glad I was opposite my lovely girlfriend.

"So Dawn, how has you week be-" I was about to ask, but then Ash started making random, loud noises, Goh reluctantly doing the same.

The two of us still continued to try and speak to each other, but the boys were getting louder and louder, and my face began to flame red with rage.

"Will you two just SHUT UP!" I shouted, banging the table.

The two stopped in their tracks and then stared up at me, fear gleaming in their eyes. Ash's didn't stay for long, though.

"Mr. Mime, please bring in the food, if you please!" Ash called, clapping his hands.

Mr. Mime suddenly walked into the kitchen, carrying big plates of spaghetti and meatballs. He placed them in front of me and Dawn, and in front of Ash and Goh.

I couldn't see how this could go wrong, or at least not yet...

I shrugged my shoulders and then began sucking the spaghetti, with Dawn doing the same. Both us and Ash and Goh did this for a while until one spaghetti string became prominent from the others, the one we were both sucking on.

"Ash, I don't want to do this next part!" Goh whispered loud enough that I could hear, continuing to suck in the spaghetti.

"It'll be fine, Goh, I promise!" Ash whispered back.

Suddenly, Goh snatched his spaghetti string off of Ash, and his boyfriend did so for our one. Dawn had still been sucking on it, so Ash began sucking on the part I had been sucking on, gross! And then I found myself sucking on the part he had done, double gross!!!

By the point I looked back though, Ash and Dawn were so close that they ended up kissing, but she had been so focused on the spaghetti that she was shocked to find her lips touching his.

But then when I looked back, me and Goh were really close to. He looked sweaty and nervous as if he didn't want to do it, so when I bit off my bit, I was doing it for the both of us.

"ENOUGH, JUST LEAVE US ALONE!" I shouted, now banging the table even harder.

Before Ash could throw us into any more shenanigans, I dragged Dawn out of her seat, kissed her to get Ash's taste off of her lips, and then took her upstairs to my room

As soon as I slammed the door shut, I sighed and let my back slide down the door until I fell into a crouching position.

"I'm so sorry, Dawn, this is not how I thought it would turn out!" I apologised in a mumble.

"No need to worry!" She said, "I'm sorry I didn't realise I was no longer on the same spaghetti string as you..."

"Wait, you didn't realise?!" I exclaimed.

She shook her head, and then we both burst out laughing. After that, we chilled out in my bedroom for the rest of the night and chatted since we hadn't seen each other for a few weeks.

Eventually, it started to get late. We had originally planned to sleep in bunk beds, but we ended up just sharing the bottom bunk since we were both so tired.

"Goodnight!" I said cheerfully, giving her a kiss on the lips.

"Goodnight..." Dawn mumbled as she was so tired out from jetlag, but the kiss did jolt her awake a little.

Even though we didn't end up watching movies or playing any board games since all of that was downstairs, I was just glad that in the end, us girlfriends did end up having fun after all...
