"Why is it always so dark and scary here, Koko?" Faith asked her Tapu Koko as they walked through the streets of Lavender Town. The town was always dark, even in the daytime, and night was much worse. Faith could hardly see a thing.

And it was Halloween. More ghosts roamed Lavender Town on Halloween than any other day of the year. Faith wasn't afraid of ghosts, after all, her brother was a Ghost Type Gym Leader. But she was afraid of the dark.

She jumped a little as she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around, crackling with electricity in case something attacked her. Koko got in front of her and also crackled with electricity.

A Gengar jumped out and made a loud noise, trying to be playful. Faith got scared and backed up - until she bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry!" She turned around and her eyes widened.

"Oh, Calem! Didn't expect to see you here," she said, blushing. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in Kalos?"

"Well, shouldn't you be in Galar?" He asked, smiling a bit.

"Good point."

"Anyways, I just wanted to see Lavender Town on Halloween. I heard it was really..... interesting."

"Same. But now I'm scared," she hugged him.

He hugged her back. "It's okay. If you want, you can stick with me."

"Sure."
