Have you ever lost something, or just simply couldn't do anything? You probably feel very desperate, right?

Now, imagine this. If you couldn't walk, stand, run or even move your fingers, what would you feel?

That's the same thing happen to our girl

Serena Yvonne Gabena, got her body burned in a fire. The doctor said she had overcome the danger, but her whole body was paralyzed and numb. There was a very small chance that she could move again.

Serena just felt heartbroken and cried. She was a successful performer. She got a special show to perform, but with this incident, she might have to retire.

But that wasn't the only thing she afraid. How would her life become in the future. She would end her life on wheelchair, leave behind her career and fame. And most importantly, no one would be there for her. Serena didn't want to make friend, as she thought friends were disturbing. But she regretted. She would live her whole life rotten to dead, and the only scene she would see is the light of hospital.

In the middle of her thought, someone came in. It was Ash Ketchum. He got rejected by her when he asked to be her boyfriend. But he didn't give up. He still cared about her, but in silent. When he knew she was like this, he quickly ran to the hospital to meet her

"Go away!" Serena shouted as soon as she saw Ash, her eyes were tearing

"Serena, if you need anything, I can help you" Ash said softly while walked to her

"No! My life is over! You happy now?" Serena said in tears. Suddenly, she felt warm arms wrapped her. She looked up and saw Ash hugged her. Ash didn't even hesitate, he knew that was what he had to do. He pushed her head to his body, let her cried in his chest

"Ash, I..." She said in his chest with some sniffles

"Shh, there, there. I'm here. Just let them out" Ash said softly. Serena's cry became louder with more tears. Ash rubbed her back, which calmed her down. She pulled away and looked ar Ash

"Ash, I'm a failure. My life is over. I'll live in hell from now on" Serena looked at her paralyzed body and started to cry again. Ash pulled her into a hug again

"Shh, it's okay, Serena. You're not a failure." Ash said softly and wiped her tears. She looked up to him

"But how will I live the next days? It's over, isn't it?" She asked

"No, it isn't over. If you need me, I'll always be there for you"

What Ash said made Serena regret anything she did to him. She rejected him, a very kind and heartwarming teenager. She didn't fully see his everything.

"Well, I'll let you here now. Just call me if you need anything" Ash stood up from the bed but Serena made him notice her again by letting out her cry

"Oh no, what's wrong?" Ash sat back and asked

"Please, stay with me. I don't want to be alone in this darkest time" Serena said in tears. Ash wiped them away

"Okay, I won't leave you. I promise" Ash said. Serena then let out a small smile. It was her first smile since her incident. Although her body was paralyzed, her heart wasn't. She could feel the warmth and love from Ash. Soon she drifted to sleep peacefully, knowing there was a man who always be there for her.

Ash smiled when he looked at Serena. He knew she couldn't feel pain, all she felt was just happiness

"Sweet dream, my little performer" Ash kissed her forehead and sat on the chair beside her. In Serena's dream, she dreamed of a prince, who stayed by a princess's side all the time. He kissed the princess, hoping that could sweep her sadness and pain away.
