Yep, I was watching Movie 1 and thought about this idea.

What if... Ash's Kanto crew was replaced by Ash's Kalos crew. Would it get more emotional? Let's find out

The battle between Mewtwo, the most powerful Pokemon (before it was replaced by Arceus) and Mew kept going on. They then shot out a beam to end this battle. Suddenly, our main hero, Ash Ketchum, jumped in and blocked the shot. He was hit and collapsed to the ground. Pikachu approached him when his body hardened into stone, same as his personality

"Pika pi" Pikachu only let out his cry. He tried to use Thunderbolt on Ash, hoping to make him back to normal

"Fool, trying to stop our battle..." Mewtwo looked at the scene with a disgusted face, while Mew just be there, shocking

"Big bro..." Bonnie let out her tears when she saw Ash sacrificed himself and buried her face to Clemont.

"Ash, how could you..." Clemont stood there, trying to hold his tears

However, talk about sadness, we have to talk about Serena (because seriously, how can we make Amour canon without her)

"Ash, no, this can't be happening..." Serena covered her face and cried. She then walked to Ash, ignoring the two dangerous Pokemon in the scene

"Ash, I know you can hear me. Please, wake up..." Serena tried to shake Ash, but it didn't work

"ASH YOU BAKA! HOW CAN YOU JUST SACRIFICE LIKE THIS?" Serena's cry became louder. She buried her face to Ash's lifeless hardened body in hopeless. Pikachu also joimed the hug

"Ash, I should have told you I love you. Now, it's too late... It's too late..." Serena kept crying. Bonnie heard that, but she was too sad to fangirl

All the Pokemon and their clones felt sad for them. Charizard and his clone, Bulbasaur and his clone, Squirtle and his clone,... All of them were crying with their watery eyes. Then their tears became power. The power flowed into Ash, with the hopes from the Pokemon. Mewtwo was stunned. It couldn't believe what it was looking

Then the miracle happened. Ash's body then glowed a blue color. He started to become normal.

"Pikachu?" Ash looked at Pikachu. The yellow mouse couldn't hold his emotion. He hugged Ash's face. Then Ash felt someone was also hugging him below. He looked down and saw a short honey blond hair girl, who was crying in his chest

"Serena?" His words making Serena look up with watery eyes

"ASH!" Serena hugged Ash more tightly. Ash was flinched but he soon returned the hug. Both Bonnie and Clemont were happy to see that, while Mewtwo was rethinking about the bond between Pokemon and people

On their way to the next destination, the gang decided to camp on a hill. Soon it was nighttime. Serena walked out her tent and saw Ash

"How's my hero going?" Serena asked from behind

"Oh, Serena. Yeah, glad I made that Mewtwo stop executing people" Ash looked up the stary night sky

Serena sat next to him, thinking about what she said before

"Serena, I heard everything" Ash smiled to Serena

"Wh-what? You heard what I say?" Serena blushed

"Yeah, I was hardened but my ears could hear, you know" Ash let out a grin

"I-I'm sorry, Ash. I just a bit messed up when I saw you like that. It j-just, I do love you, Ash. I don't know what I'll do if I lose you. Please, forgive me for what happened- Mpmh!" Serena was disrupted by a kiss from Ash

"I get it now. I love you, too. Thanks for everything, Serena" Ash leaned in and kissed Serena again. She was flinched but she returned the kiss after. Then they let out and watched the shining moonlight, the moonlight Ash probably couldn't see again
