Serena's POV

"Serena, rise and shine, it's a beautiful morning today" My mom patted my shoulder. I woke up with red eyes that morning

"Serena, I know he's gone. But you have to cheer up. Come on, breakfast's ready" She walked out the door

I woke up with a frown. I've never been sad and desperate like this before. My boyfriend, Ash Ketchum, died because of a traffic accident 5 days ago. In the last 5 days, I couldn't do anything but crying. I can't accept the truth, the fact that I've lost Ash forever. Just a week before that accident, Ash proposed me and I said yes. We were planning to have a wedding today. TODAY! But what?! That stupid driver stole Ash from me.

I walked downstairs and have my breakfast. Then I felt a warm hand hold my shoulder. I thought it was Ash, whose hands was as warm as this. But turns out, it was my mom.

"Serena, soon you have to move on from the pain. You will soon forget him" My mom comforted me

"NO! Ash is unforgettable, and you can't change my point" I cried and ran back to my room. I burried my face into a pillow and sobbed. Usually, Ash would rub my back and hug me. But now he's gone, I have to stop this.

I remembered 3 days ago, a boy named Calem asked me to be his girlfriend

"So, Serena Yvonne, will you be my girlfriend?" He knelt down and held my hand, but I slapped it away

"Sorry, Calem. I don't feel like I need one" I answered coldly

"What, that boy Ash is fcuking dead! You need someone to be with you, and I-" He got slapped by me before he could finish his sentence

"YOU SCUMBAG! NO ONE CAN REPLACE ASH AND NEITHER CAN YOU!" I just ran to the restroom and cried. Calem and Ash had been rivals. All they wanted was to get my love, and I chose Ash. He was the one I thought would be better, and I was right. Ash was the best boyfriend I've ever had.

I looked up to the sky. I was thinking what Ash would do up there. Maybe he was enjoying his new life.

No, not this time

I WILL join him

I climbed to the roof and standing at the edge of it.

"I'm going up there now. See you soon, Ash" Then with all my desperation, I was about to jump and say goodbye to my life

But then, something unexpected happened

A flock of birds flew toward me and knocked me backward. Then they flew away, but they formed a heart-shaped formation while they were flying

"Was that... Ash?" I looked up and saw clouds forming a letter A, with the others formed a letter S.

I got it. Ash didn't want to see me committing suicide. He controlled the birds to stop me, and made those thing to remind me he was always beside me.

I let out a tear in my eye. Ash was still watching me, even when he's gone. It was like he tried to tell me to move on.

Thanks Ash. I will.

Calem's POV
I looked up the sky and sighed. Ash never gives up, even when he's dead. I thought when I crashed his car by purpose 5 days ago that's mean everything is over.

But anyway. I won't give up. Since Ash is rotten to dead, Serena shall be mine. Forever.
