A/N: here's another non romance One Shot, this time focusing on best ghost boy Allister

Stow-on-Side 

A young boy with pale skin and fairly short black hair with a few long strands of hair at the front and a long curved cowlick at the back. However he has his face was a blank white mask with two holes for his eyes and one hole for his mouth. He was wearing a long sleeved black shirt and at the ends of the sleeves were rings of light purple, he is also wearing a pair of dark purple shorts with black diamond spots. The black haired boy sighed however not even a second later he let out a small shriek as a hand placed itself on his shoulder."Really Ray"? The boy asked as he turned his head to see a boy with long black hair that was concealed under a dark grey beanie. The named Ray let out a short chuckle as he replied."Sorry Allister I could miss the chance". Allister just sighed as he asked."So what brings you to Stow-on-Side"? 

"Well Bea has gone to hang out with Nessa for the day. So I thought why not hang out with my best friend". Allister nodded his head as he replied."What do you wanna do then"? Ray looked up at the sky as he scratched his chin in thought, after a few seconds of thinking he replied. "Why don't we go to Hammerlocke and visit the Battle Café there"? Allister nervously shifted on the spot as he asked."Are you sure"? Ray nodded as he said."It'll be fine Allister, its not like I'm just gonna abandon you in Hammerlocke we'll make our way there and back together okay"? Allister nodded as the pair began to walk towards Hammerlocke. 

In Hammerlocke 

As the pair entered the city Allister got closer to Ray's side, while subconsciously Ray did the same thing. Because truth be told Ray was extremely nervous about doing this as well but he had to but on a brave face so Allister wouldn't be afraid."You know it has been a while since I was last in Hammerlocke". Allister semi whispered with Ray just about able to hear what he said as the Ice Type specialist replied."I haven't been here in a while either, I believe the last time I was here was when myself and Bea left to go out to the Tundra". Allister just nodded as the pair entered the Battle Café and walked to the counter."Ah it's not that often we get a pair of Gym Leaders in this Café". The owner said with a warm and friendly smile on his face with Allister shyly giggling in response as Ray gave the owner a smile in response as he ordered two drinks, one for him and the other for Allister. 

The pair found a seat at the back of the Café and resumed their talk from earlier."So Allister, you got your eye on anyone". Allister slightly recoiled at the question, although he couldn't see his face because of the mask Ray  knew that Allister was a blushing mess, the Ghost Type specialist regained some of his composure as he replied with a slight stutter."I-I d-do". Ray's eyes lit up a little bit with Ray leaning forward in his seat as he asked."Really, who"? Ray was excited to hear his best friend has a crush on someone and wanted to see if he could help his best friend in any way he could."I-its Jade". Ray lent back so he was in a normal sitting position as he replied. "Interesting". 

Jade is the younger sister of Raihan and specialises in Dragon Type Pokémon, Jade is known around the Galar region as being a very social person who loves people and being around the people she considers friends. She is the polar opposite of Allister but Ray swore to himself that he would try and get his friend with his crush. As Ray was thinking his and Allister's drinks arrived, the Ice Type specialist decided to stop his thinking about how to get Allister and Jade together and focus on his drink as the rest of the time was filled with casual small talk. 

After the pair finished their drinks and Ray paid for them, they exited the Café only for Ray's Rotom phone to start ringing."Hello"? Ray asked as a voice replied."Where are you Ray"? The black haired male instantly recognised the voice as his girlfriend, Bea."Me and Allister are just in Hammerlocke and are on our way back". Ray replied as Bea responded."Okay, I was just making sure. I got a little concerned when I couldn't find you at home". Ray chuckled slightly as he replied."Okay we'll I'll see you soon Bea, me and Allister are on our way home now". Bea said 'goodbye' to him as she hung up and the pair of best friends left for Stow-on-Side.
