Pokemon Oneshots

!!Silver and Kotone!! !!Extra Short!! (Kotone is Lyra, but I think Silvyra is a lame ship name, Slivone is better)

"Girl, how do you always manage to beat me? My Pokemon are the best." Silver growled. He clenched the Pokeball in his hand and looked at the brown haired girl.

"You're too cruel to your Pokemon." She said quietly. No one should treat Pokemon like tools.

"That's not true, my Pokemon are strong, you just get lucky every time!" He huffed. He flipped his red hair out of his face. Then he stomped away.

-

Every time the two met, they battled.

And every time, Kotone won. She often saw Silver doing the same thing, so she said, "You're still too cruel."

Over time, Kotone saw something in Silver. In an odd sort of way, Silver seemed to be very slowly being nicer to his Pokemon. Definitely not kind or compassionate, but nicer. Kotone was the first to ever see this.

-

During a battle, Silver managed to defeat three of Kotone's Pokemon.

Silver still ended up losing, but during the end of the battle, Kotone could see a very small grin on Silver's face.

"Hey, look at you, after all this time, you're smiling!" The girl exclaimed. She jogged up to Silver and looked at him, and did an even bigger smile.

"A-Are you sure you're not blind?" Silver questions, taking a step back. His cheeks flushed pink, and he started to stomp away.

"Hey! Why don't you come back?" Kotone asked. She took a step closer to him, filling empty space.

"No way, I'm going training." He mumbled. He stepped back again.

Kotone stepped up to him as he turned away. She grabbed onto his arm and pulled him around to face her.

"We can train together!" She laughed, dragging him along with her. Silver tried to pull back, but he couldn't, she was a gripper despite having such noodle-thin arms.

-

Soon, Silver tired out and could no longer pull and he just let the small girl drag him across the ground like a favored doll.

Kotone noticed after a few minutes, and she pulled him off the ground and laughed. She recognized he seemed irritated, but also noticed he was covered in dust. She reached into her bag and grabbed some tissues to wipe him off. "You should just walk, you're kinda heavy." She giggled.

As Kotone dusted the front of Silver's jacket off, Silver froze. He felt a strange feeling course through him, it tingled and was slow, but it was there. He looked down at the girl as she got the last bit of dirt off. She finished, took a step back as if to admire her work. Silver stared back at her, slightly thrown off by her.

Kotone began to speak, "Well, c'mon buddy, we have a bunch of training to get to!" She playfully grabbed his hand and this time, waited for her friend to start walking.

-

Silver didn't notice it himself, but his hand fell into hers the entire time the two of them walked. It wasn't reluctant, it just sort of happened.

The entire time, Silver felt so strange, this weird feeling traveling up and down his body, it made him nauseous to really think about it. It was more thrilling than stealing and being a horrid person, it made him feel light. And the when he looked at Kotone, the way she looked, made him smile, if not on the outside. What was it with this girl he just met, and barely knew?

-

Kotone could tell something changed in Silver. It reminded her of the way when her Pokemon in their Pokeballs buzzed when excited. He seemed at rest, kind of less bitter. And the thing that made her giggle a bit was she noticed how he barely knew his own feelings. She could kind of sense her old friend had a bit of a crush on her, but she didn't mind. Silver was happy, and would be a great trainer one day, and that made everything alright to her.

-

For the next hour, they battled and practiced with their Pokemon. Even Silver's vicious Crobat seemed to have fun.

The two trainers and all their Pokemon had so much fun together, they didn't even notice. Kotone returned her friends to their Pokeballs and sat down, leaning against a tree. She fell asleep, just as the sun set. Silver looked at her and smiled softly. He approached her and looked at her warm face. He leaned in close to her, closer and closer. His unconsentful lips nearly touched Kotone's.

Kotone's eyes opened up fast, and she smiled at her friend. "Hey! You're really smiling this time!" She beamed. Silver fell back in shock and surprise. He looked at her and immediately frowned. His entire face was red. "No way, are you sure you aren't imagining things, you ditz?!" He yelled. The two playfully fought and argued till the sun set entirely.

-

As Silver walked back to his home, he thought of how nice it would be to walk with Kotone again. He would definitely remember to visit her again sometime.
