One day in Alola, Litten was looking at the sea view while frowning. He was thinking a lot about his bonds especially with another family that their family hated from the very start.

Litten: Sigh... why would my family despite another family? They said it's because our types doesn't match? But that's...

???: A stupid reason.

The voice made Litten jump, he look behind and saw a Popplio was making a sand castle near him

Litten: (Wait, this Popplio... isn't she part of the family that we hated? She seems nice.)

Popplio: Hello there, you must be Litten. You are part of the family we hated.

Litten: Yeah, that goes for you too, Popplio. But...

Popplio: Huh?

Litten: Do you really care about our family's bond? Do you actually hate our family?

Popplio: I honestly don't hate your family, Litten. Since my family just making some stupid conclusion our family's bond.

Litten: Well, that goes for me too actually. I don't really hate your family.

Popplio: Yeah, but do you always wondering how family got dragged into this mess somehow?

Litten: I don't think there any clue about that, but by the looks of it, you seems nice.

Popplio: *Blushes* O-Oh, really? Nobody ever called me cute in a long time.

Litten: Wait really?! Nobody ever called you cute?

Popplio: Yeah, I've always being pressed by stress that my parents gave me. I feel like being in prison and they always being mean to me.

Litten: Wow, my parents has done the same as well. They never cared about me and always told me to study everyday, I feel like being their slave somehow.

Popplio: Wow, our lives are the same. I'm so sorry about it though.

Litten: Yeah, I'm sorry too. I guess we can only hope so our lives can be better for the future.

Popplio: Yeah. Anyway, what are you doing here in the middle of the beach?

Litten: I was going to ask the same thing.

Popplio and Litten: I ran away from my house! *Gasps together*

Popplio: You too?! But how?!

Litten: Well, I run away by climbing through the roof and jumps into a tree.

Popplio: Well for me, I dig down from the ground to the outside.

Litten: Wow, anyway, you wanna play hide and seek with me?

Popplio: Sounds fun! You're on!

The two started playing together at the beach, leaving so many great memories for them. But between the fun, they can feel a great feelings in them, which is love.

A month after their meetings, Litten runs back to the same spot while carrying a box of chocolates behind his back while Popplio runs back to the same spot as well while holding a rose behind her back. They then met each other while smiling and blushing.

Litten: H-Hey there Popplio, how is your life?

Popplio: W-Worst as always, you?

Litten: Me too. Anyway, I was coming here to...

Popplio: Oh, I was coming here too for... well...

Litten: How should I say this? Eh...

Popplio: Umm...

Litten: *Breaths in and out* Okay, Popplio? We have beem hanging out for a month and we had so much fun.

Popplio: Yeah, we had so much fun and I feel like it's keeping us close together.

Litten: I just want to say...

Popplio: That I...

Both Litten and Popplio hand over their chocolate box and rose at each other.

Litten and Popplio: I LOVE YOU!!

The sudden confession made both of them gasps before smiling.

Popplio: Y-You too?

Litten: Yeah! I fell in love with you at the first time we met, I feel like we have been attached together and I really cared about you.

Popplio: Me too! I fell in love at the time I met you at this beach and I wanted to stay with you forever.

They put their presents down before holding each others paws and flipper before leaning closer and kisses their lips together showing their love. After a while, they gasped for air and looked at each other in a loving eyes.

Litten: I love you Popplio

Popplio: I love you too Litten
